Late last month, Samsung unveiled Galaxy Z Fold 5, Galaxy Z Flip 5, and Galaxy Tab S9 series. These devices debuted with a new version of the company’s mobile software based on Android 13 — One UI 5.1.1.
Weeks later, this version of One UI has been now confirmed for older foldables and tablets. The company has revealed the exact devices that will receive the update and the timeline for a couple.
On one hand, Samsung is beta testing One UI 6 in multiple markets. But before the Android 14-based software hits the stable channel, the brand’s foldables and tablets will exclusively get access to an intermediary update to One UI 5.1.1.
