The next week is packed with smartphone launches. There will be announcements every day from Monday till Friday.
Four brands that have officially scheduled events are HMD Global (Nokia), Apple, Honor, and Samsung. Out of these, Honor will be holding two conferences, one in China and the other in India.
Apart from the aforementioned companies, Oppo is also expected to debut a new phone. However, it is yet to be officially confirmed as of writing this article.
Honor and Samsung will be unveiling foldables, while others will announce regular slab handsets. With that out of the way, let’s take a look at all the phones that will go official in the next few days.
The Nokia G42 5G is planned to launch in India on September 11 (Monday). It will be the country’s second 5G-enabled Nokia-branded smartphone after Nokia X30 5G.
Since the device is already on sale in multiple regions, everything about it is already out. It is also teased to cost under ₹18,000 in India.
The handset comes with a 6.56-inch HD+ 90Hz display (LCD), a Qualcomm Snapdragon 480 Plus chip, a 50MP rear camera, an 8MP selfie camera, a 5,000mAh battery, and 20W charging support.
2. Apple iPhone 15 Lineup
Apple has scheduled its 2023 annual Fall event for September 12 (Tuesday). The American tech giant is anticipated to debut the iPhone 15 series.
The latest iPhone lineup is expected to include four models, namely iPhone 15, iPhone 15 Plus, iPhone 15 Pro, and iPhone 15 Pro Max (Ultra?). All of them will be equipped with a USB Type-C port and feature a dynamic island.
The Pro models will also arrive with an action button. Additionally, the Pro Max, which is rumored to be called Ultra will sport a periscope zoom camera.
3. Mysterious Honor Foldable
Honor will be holding an event in China on September 13 (Wednesday). The brand has confirmed that it will unveil a foldable but did not say which one.
According to rumors, the company may debut either Magic Vs 2 or Magic V2 Lite. The former is said to be an outward folding foldable phone, while the latter is expected to be a toned-down version of Magic V2 Lite.
If the leaks are to be believed, the Honor Magic V2 Lite could be the most affordable book-style foldable smartphone to release in 2023.
4. Honor 90
The Honor 90 is set to launch in India on September 14 (Thursday). It will mark the brand’s re-entry into the country’s smartphone market.

The device arrives with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 SoC, a 6.7-inch 1.5K 120Hz curved display, a 200MP rear camera, a 50MP front-facing camera, an in-screen fingerprint sensor, a 5,000mAh battery, and 66W charging support.
5. Samsung W24 Series
Samsung has confirmed to announce new W series phones in China on September 15 (Friday). These devices are anticipated to be called Samsung W24 and Samsung W24 Flip.
Based on previous W series handsets and leaks, the W24 and W24 Flip will likely be a premium version of Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Galaxy Z Flip 5, respectively. They will retain the core features but may have additional design elements.
We wouldn’t be surprised if they come in higher RAM and storage variants than the original models.
6. Oppo A2 Pro
The Oppo A2 Pro is tipped to launch in China on September 15 (Friday). Since this information comes from a reliable leaker, it is most likely true.
As per the source, the device will sport a 6.7-inch FHD+ 120Hz curved display. This OLED panel will also have support for 2160Hz high-frequency PWM dimming.
It will house a 5,000mAh battery but there’s no info on the chipset. Finally, it will arrive with up to 12GB RAM and 512GB storage.
