This year’s VivoBook Pro 15 laptops have proven to be highly popular among both users and reviewers. The company even introduced a model featuring a Ryzen CPU, specifically the R9 7940H, paired with an RTX 4060 GPU and a 2.8K 120Hz OLED screen, starting at 9,999 yuan ($1,371). Asus also offers a version with a 1080p 144Hz screen, starting at 8,999 yuan ($1,268). Now, the Taiwanese company has made the Vivobook Pro 15 2023 available in a new configuration.

Asus has launched the Vivobook Pro 15 2023 in a new Ryzen 9 7940H configuration paired with Nvidia RTX 4050 GPU. The new version comes priced at $990, cheaper than the rest of the Ryzen-powered models. The laptop is currently available for purchase in China with no news about the global availability.

More specifically, the notebook features an AMD Ryzen 9 7940H processor with 8 cores, 16 threads, and a turbo boost frequency of up to 5.2 GHz. It also has an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4050 GPU with 6GB of video memory, 16GB of LPDDR5x RAM, and a 1TB SSD. The overall performance of the notebook is rated at 85W, with the CPU accounting for 54W.

In the display department, this laptop is equipped with a 1080p screen and a 144Hz refresh rate. It should provide sharp visuals and smooth motion. In addition, the 100% sRGB color gamut ensures accurate color reproduction. The new Vivobook Pro 15 2023 is relatively lightweight and thin, making it easy to carry.
