The company, which recently launched the Dolphin model in Japan to show its success in China in other markets, has now officially launched the eagerly awaited Yuan Plus Champion Edition (Atto 3). BYD Yuan Plus Champion Edition Officially Launched in China

BYD recently launched the Yuan Plus Champion Edition. The new vehicle is an upgraded version of the popular Yuan Plus electric SUV. For those who may be confused, the vehicle is called Yuan Plus in China. It is known as BYD Atto 3 in international markets. This means that the name of the vehicle may vary depending on your region.

The exterior of the Yuan Plus Champion Edition is largely unchanged from the standard model, but it does get two new exterior colors: Oxygen Blue and Rhythmic Purple. The vehicle also gets a new light luxury beige interior, which is available in two-tone. In terms of technology, the Yuan Plus Champion Edition gets a number of upgrades, including a new 15.6-inch central control screen, a new DiLink 4.0 (4G) intelligent network connection system, and a new 3D transparent panoramic image.

The vehicle also gets front seats with ventilation and heating, privacy glass (rear doors and rear doors), and intelligent power on and off. The Yuan Plus Champion Edition is powered by a front-mounted permanent magnet synchronous motor, with a maximum power of 150kW and a peak torque of 310N·m. It takes 7.3 seconds to accelerate from 0 to 100km/h. In terms of battery life, the new vehicle offers two different battery capacity versions: 49.92kWh and 60.48kWh, with corresponding ranges of 430km and 510km.

The BYD Yuan Plus Champion Edition is priced starting at 135,800 yuan (about US$20,000). The vehicle is available in five versions: 430 Km Leading, 430 Km Exceeding, 510 Km Leading, 510 Km Exceeding, and 510 Km Premium. The launch of the Yuan Plus Champion Edition is a significant milestone for BYD.

The vehicle is the first in the company’s new Champion Edition series, which will be aimed at the high-end market. The Yuan Plus Champion Edition is also a strong contender in the compact electric SUV segment, and it is expected to be popular with consumers in China and other markets.
