Tecno recently confirmed that it will announce the Tecno Phantom V Flip on Sept. 22 globally. Recent reports have revealed a lot of information about the country’s first clamshell phone with a foldable screen. Ahead of the launch, tipster Paras Guglani has leaked the specs sheet of the device. Here is a look at the details that have emerged through the leak.

As per the leak, the Tecno Phantom V Flip (AD11 model number) will measure 172.35 x 74 x 7.05mm (unfolded state). Its thickness will increase to 15.1mm in the folded state. On the inside, the device will feature a 6.9-inch foldable AMOLED display that offers an FHD+ resolution of 1080 x 2460 pixels and a 20.5:9 aspect ratio. For selfies, the device will come equipped with a 32-megapixel front-facing camera.

On the back, the Phantom V Flip features a 1.32-inch cover display that offers 466 x 466 pixels. The rear panel of the device also features a 64-megapixel primary camera with autofocus support and a 13-megapixel secondary snapper, which appears to be an ultra-wide lens.

The Phantom V Flip will house a 4,000mAh battery with fast charging support via a USB-C port. Unfortunately, neither mentions the charging speed nor the name of the chip that powers the device. A previous leak by the same source revealed that the device will feature the Dimensity 8050 chip. The new leak states that the V Flip will have 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of internal storage.

The Phantom V Flip will offer connectivity features such as Wi-Fi 802.11ax, Bluetooth 5.3, and 5G connectivity (14 5G bands). It will come preloaded with Android 13, which will have a layer of HiOS 13 on top. While there is no word on the price of the device, the leak states that it will be available in shades such as Minimal Black, Film White, and Periwinkle Purple.
