Google is working on bringing plenty of new features and enhancements via the upcoming Android 14. The developer builds of the latest Android iteration are already out and we expect an official stable rollout in the coming days. OnePlus is also working on OxygenOS 14 based on Android 14. The OxygenOS 14 Closed Beta program is already live for some OnePlus smartphones including OnePlus Nord 3OnePlus 11R, OnePlus 11 (Open Beta also available), OnePlus Nord 2T, and OnePlus 10 Pro. The company has shed some light on the Open Beta program rollout timeline, and here are the details:

OxygenOS 14 Open Beta Timeline

OnePlus already published OxygenOS 14 Open Beta build for OnePlus 11. Excitingly, the OOS 14 Open Beta is set to roll out on several other smartphones in the next couple of months. Below is the official timeline posted by OnePlus:

Upon successful Beta testing via Open Bea channels for these devices, the stable OxygenOS 14 rollout will commence. Interested users can join the Open Beta program to test the new features before the stable build. before upgrading, make sure you the beta builds always have some minor issues and are not recommended for normal users.

OxygenOS 14 Features

Apart from the improvements and new features that are bundled in Android 14, the OnePlus is also set to unveil a new Trinity Engine with OxygenOS 14. It is aimed at improving the software and hardware integration which will improve the performance, efficiency, and responsiveness of apps. A specific set of different features under the Trinity engine – CPU Vitalization, RAM Vitalization, ROM Vitalization, HyperBoost, HyperTouch, and HyperRendering will usher in the new OS.

Details about the stable build are not yet out, but we expect the devices to start receiving the ready build by next month starting with the OnePlus 11.
