Samsung’s Fan Edition devices are finally here after a long wait. The South Korean brand announced the Galaxy S23 FE, Galaxy Tab S9 FE and S9+ FE, and the Galaxy Buds FE in the global markets. The latest fan edition smartphone arrives as the successor to the Galaxy S21 FE that debuted way back in 2021. It’s worth noting that Samsung announced the Snapdragon 888 variant of the S21 FE in July this year. Now the company has officially revealed the pricing and availability details of the newest Galaxy S23 FE.
Samsung Galaxy S23 FE price and availability in India
The Samsung Galaxy S23 FE is offered in 8GB + 128GB and 8GB + 256G RAM and storage configurations. These are priced at Rs 59,999 and Rs 64,999 respectively. As a part of the launch offer, customers can avail of benefits worth Rs 10,000 including bank cashback and exchange bonus. This should potentially bring the net effective price of the smartphone to Rs 49,999 and Rs 54,999 for the two variants.
The Samsung Galaxy S23 FE is offered in Mint, Graphite, and Purple colors. It will be available for purchase starting October 5 via the brand’s website and Amazon. Interested customers purchasing the device during the Samsung Live event starting tomorrow will be eligible for an S23 FE silicone case worth Rs 2,499.
Samsung Galaxy S23 FE specifications
The Samsung Galaxy S23 FE has a compact form factor with a boxy design. It features a 6.3-inch dynamic AMOLED display with an FHD+ resolution and a 120Hz adaptive refresh rate. There is an in-screen fingerprint scanner and vertically stacked three camera sensors on the back panel. The device is also IP68-certified dust and water-resistant. The triple camera setup comprises a 50MP OIS-enabled primary sensor, a 12MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and an 8MP telephoto unit with OIS support. There is a 10MP front-facing selfie camera.
The Samsung Galaxy S23 FE is powered by an Exynos 2200 processor coupled with 8GB RAM and up to 256GB storage. It is backed by a 4,500mAh battery unit with support for 25W wired and 15W wireless charging. The smartphone runs on Android 13 and is eligible for 4 years of OS updates and 5 years of security patches.
