Earlier today, Vivo launched the Y33t and Y78t smartphones in China. The brand also announced a new audio device called the Vivo TWS Air 2 on microblogging platform Weibo. It is also listed on the company’s official website. Notably the Vivo TWS Air 2 is similar to the iQOO TWS Air 2 that went on sale in the country last month. The latest offering is the successor to the TWS Air with notable improvements. Read on to learn more about it below. 

Vivo TWS Air 2 specifications and features

The Vivo TWS Air 2 has an in-ear design with a stem and lacks silicon ear tips. They slightly resemble the Apple AirPods. It has an IP54 certification against dust and water resistance. The device comes in a pebble-shaped charging and storage case. Users can perform various task by tapping on the stem of the earbuds. 

In terms of audio, the Vivo TWS Air 2 is equipped with a 14.2mm driver unit with sound tuned by Golden Ears specialists. There is 3D panoramic sound and DeepX 3.0 stereo sound for an immersive listening experience. The AI call noise is capable of suppressing background noise for clear quality. The TWS earphones feature MonsterSound eSports gaming sound effects. It comes with 55ms ultra-low latency mode. 

The Vivo TWS Air 2 is claimed to deliver 6 hours of usage on a single charge and with the case, it offers 30 hours of battery backup. It also supports fast charging via USB-C port and has Bluetooth 5.3 connectivity onboard. 

The Vivo TWS Air 2 is offered in Night Blue and Morning White colors. The company has not revealed the pricing of the earphones but they are up for pre-reservations from TMall, JD, and the Vivo official mall.
