In a push to bring the latest Android 14-based Oxygen OS 14 for its compatible smartphones and tablets, the company is here with an Open Beta 1 build for the OnePlus 10T. The smartphone’s India variant is receiving the build, and the users can enjoy the new features right away.

The new build does bring improved features and enhancements which elevate the user experience. Despite all the new additions, there are some issues that could be a bottleneck for normal users. It is advised not to install if you have a single smartphone as your daily drive. Below are the primary issues on the build:

- Dark mode does not take effect in some apps.
- Failure for screen mirroring when using multi-screen connect.
- The screen isn't off when lifting to ear to answer calls.

Oxygen OS 14 Open Beta 1 is available for the first 5,000 users who would like to enjoy the new update. Before updating, make sure your device is running the latest Oxygen OS 13 or Oxygen OS 14 Closed Beta Builds:

  • CPH2413_13.1.0.584(EX01)
  • CPH2413_13.1.0.587(EX01)

The user has to head over to Settings > About Device > Tap up to date > Tap icon on the top right > Beta program > Follow on-screen instructions.
