One of the major strengths of the upcoming OnePlus 12 is its photography prowess. Today, OnePlus President Li Jie released a Weibo post to talk about the primary camera of the OP12.
OnePlus 12’s expected to feature LYT-T808 main camera
According to Li Jie, the OnePlus 12 stands out as the world’s first flagship smartphone equipped with a new Lytia camera sensor in collaboration with Sony. This unique sensor, combined with advanced algorithms, can result in an unparalleled photography experience. Jie said that the OnePlus 12’s primary camera outperforms all others in its category.
The company is still silent about the primary camera of the OnePlus 12, but reports have claimed that it will be equipped with the LYT-T808 primary camera. It is said to be coupled with a 48-megapixel Sony IMX581 ultra-wide lens and a 64-megapixel OmniVision OV64B periscope telephoto camera, which may offer up to 5x optical zoom.
The OnePlus 12 will feature the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset and up to 16 GB of LPDDR5x RAM. The topmost variant of the device may offer 1 TB of UFS 4.0 storage. It will run on ColorOS 14-based Android 14.
The OnePlus 12’s 3C certification has revealed that it may support 100W wired charging. It is said to pack a 5,400mAh battery and carry support for 50W wireless charging. It will feature the latest BOE X1 Oriental Screen, which will have a centrally aligned punch-hole and curved edges. It will offer a 2K resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, and an in-screen fingerprint scanner.
