With minimal fanfare, Redmi has discreetly unveiled its latest addition to the lineup, the Redmi Note 13R Pro, in the Chinese market. This release comes on the heels of the October launch that saw the introduction of the Redmi Note 13, Note 13 Pro, and Note 13 Pro+. Here is a look into the specifications, features, and pricing details of this newly announced device.

The Redmi Note 13R Pro has a 6.67-inch OLED display with a punch-hole design. The screen offers a Full HD+ resolution of 2400 x 1080 pixels, up to 120Hz refresh rate, up to 1,000 nits of brightness, a contrast ratio of 5,000,000:1, an instantaneous touch sampling rate of 2160Hz, and 1920Hz PWM dimming.

Powered by the Dimensity 6080 chipset, the Note 13R Pro comes with 12 GB LPDDR4x RAM and 256 GB UFS 2.2 storage. It is equipped with a 5,000mAh battery with 33W charging, and runs on MIUI 14-based Android 13.

Its camera setup includes a 16-megapixel front camera and a dual rear camera system with a 108-megapixel main camera with support for 3x in-sensor zoom and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. In addition, the device features a side-facing fingerprint sensor, an IR blaster, a USB-C port, a 3.5mm audio jack, dual SIM with 5G support, GPS, Wi-Fi 5, and Bluetooth 5.3. It has dimensions of 161.11 x 74.95 x 7.73mm and weighs 175 grams.

As for the Redmi Note 13R Pro’s price, it is set at 1,999 Yuan (~$280). It comes in shades, such as Midnight Black, Time Blue, and Morning Light Gold color options. The device is now officially listed for purchase in China.

There are speculations that it might be rebranded as the POCO X6 Neo with a 64-megapixel main camera in the Indian market. Additional news suggests that the Poco X6 series, including the Redmi Note 13 Pro and Note 13 Pro+, may debut globally as the Poco X6 5G and Poco X6 Pro 5G, respectively.
