OnePlus is spearheading the race to bring Android 14-based OxygenOS 14 OS to its eligible smartphones and tablets. Marching ahead of others, the company is rolling out OxygenOS 14 Open Beta 2 for OnePlus Pad today. After a month of its maiden Open Beta 1 rollout, the new Open Beta surely fixes and improves several features and functions.

The new Beta firmware is already rolling out to the users who have opted for the Open Beta 1. It is rolling out for users in India and brings the October 2023 Android Security Patch to uplift the system security. Further, it optimizes the system’s stability and performance. The update is already live for Open Beta 1 users, but if a new user wants to join, then their device should be running the latest OxygenOS 13.1 version. Moreover, keep up to 4GB storage space free and 30% of battery before upgrading.
The new users may have to wait, as OnePlus reviews each application and then grants access to Open Beta firmware. Once approved, the users can head over to Settings > About device > Tap up to date > Tap icon on the top right > Beta program > Follow the steps to apply.
However, OnePlus Pad was launched earlier this year featuring MediaTek Dimensity 9000 SoC, 128/256 GB storage, and 8/12GB RAM options. It houses an 11.61-inch IPS LCD display with having 2000 x 2800 pixels resolution. The display offers HDR10+ support and carries a 144Hz refresh rate. It bundles a 13MP single-rear camera and an 8MP front sensor.
