Rotwild has unveiled two new electric bikes – one an electric mountain bike (E-MTB) and the other an e-crossover bike. Both models come with an innovative Pinion motor gearbox unit and a 960Wh battery for a longer range. The two models were earlier teased a few weeks ago but are now available for purchase.

Features

The Rotwild R.X1000 e-MTB sports a classic mountain bike design and is well-suited for off-road adventures. It has a 150mm suspension travel and a sturdy build. The Rotwild R.C1000 e-crossover is designed for both everyday movement and off-road riding. It comes with mudguards, a luggage rack, an integrated lighting system, and other features to ensure a smooth and safe ride. While built as a practical daily commuter e-bike, the R.C1000 can also operate as a powerful sports bike when taken on the trail.

Both the R.X1000 and R.C1000 have the new Pinion Motor Gearbox Unit (MGU). It combines the motor and gearbox in one unit. The motor has a maximum torque of 85Nm and a peak power output of 600W. There are 12 gears and electronic shifting featured on the MGU. This allows the bikes to shift gears seamlessly without interrupting the power flow. The battery is situated on the down tube of the bike.
