The Smart Band 8 in China is getting an update, but just for the NFC model. This update brings a handy automatic pause and start feature for Cycling mode, making workouts easier. Now, the Smart Band 8 also has the iOS battery widget, showing your iPhone’s battery level on the Smart Band’s home screen. The update includes some bug fixes, but the brand hasn’t shared many details about that.

Xiaomi Smart Band 8 specs:

The Xiaomi Smart Band 8 features a pill-shaped design with a 1.6-inch AMOLED display, offering a 60Hz refresh rate, 600 nits peak brightness, Always On Display (AOD) mode, and various watch faces.

The Band 8 includes a pebble clip mode for securing it to your shoelace to enhance tracking during running. It accommodates different size lugs for various strap types (leather, woven leather, hollow bracelet, and TPU) to match your style.

Equipped with a heart-rate monitor, SpO2 sensor, sleep tracker, and menstrual cycle monitor, the Xiaomi Smart Band 8 goes beyond basics.
