Sharp has recently launched two new Quantum Dot smart TV series – the Sharp FQ8 and Sharp FQ5, offering identical features. You can check out the details below.
Sharp FQ8 and Sharp FQ5 TVs specs:
The Sharp FQ8 and Sharp FQ5 TVs feature a sleek design with a full aluminum slim frameless build and a bracket stand. The displays offer 4K resolution, a 120Hz native refresh rate (expandable to 144Hz), and a VA panel with Direct LED backlighting. With a peak brightness of 450-500 nits, they cover 92% of the DCI-P3 and 78% of the BT.2020 color space, certified for Dolby Vision, Dolby Vision IQ, HDR10, and HLG. An ambient light sensor adjusts the backlight and panel brightness.
Powered by Google TV, these TVs include two HDMI 2.1 ports with HFR and VRR support. The Aquos Motion smoothing system, coupled with an embedded AI system, analyzes images frame by frame. Users have control over the AQUOS Motion system. Audio features include two 15W speakers and a subwoofer, Dolby Atmos certification, support for Dolby Atmos and DTS:X, and compatibility with AQUOS Wireless Surround by Sharp.
Pricing & availability
Both of these TVs will be made available in four sizes: 50-inch, 55-inch, 65-inch, and 75-inch. Pricing and market availability details are currently under wraps.
