Xiaomi launched multiple products under its Redmi sub-brand today including the K70 series smartphones, Redmi Watch 4, and more. The company has also announced the Redmi Buds 5 Pro. As the name suggests, it is an upgraded version of the Buds 5 that were launched earlier this year. The latest TWS earphones are touted to offer the best sound quality ever in Redmi headphones. The Redmi Buds 5 Pro has the same design as the non-pro variant with a semi-in-ear stem and silicone ear tips for a comfortable fit. The earbuds are IP54-rated dust and water-resistant. 

Audio-wise, the Redmi Buds 5 Pro are equipped with a 10mm tweeter and an 11mm dynamic subwoofer for clear treble and strong bass respectively. The TWS earphones pack active noise cancellation up to 52dB. There is also AI adaptive adjustment and a 4kHz ultrawide noise reduction frequency band that will automatically adjust noise cancellation. The audio device supports LHDC 5.0 codec for high-quality audio streaming. Notably, the Buds 5 Pro also features spatial audio for a 360-degree immersive sound experience. The three-level transparency mode allows users to be more aware of their surroundings. The earbuds are also capable of eliminating wind noise for a clear quality on calls.

The Redmi Buds 5 Pro are claimed to deliver a total battery life of 38 hours. Each earbud is said to offer 10 and 6.5 hours of usage with ANC disabled and enabled respectively.

The Redmi Buds 5 Pro are offered in Snow White, Obsidian Black, and Ice Porcelain Blue. It carries a price tag of CNY 399 (~$56).
