Alongside Redmi K70 and K70 Pro, Xiaomi has also launched Redmi K70E at an event in China. The device’s physical appearance is largely similar to the other two phones, with a notable difference being the use of plastic for the chassis of the terminal instead of other materials. Let’s check out the specifications of this smartphone.
Redmi K70e Specifications:
Redmi K70E features a 6.67-inch OLED eye-protection screen display with a 1.5K resolution (2712×1220), 120Hz refresh rate, and an in-screen fingerprint scanner. The display also sports a peak brightness of 1800 nits, super dynamic HDR with 8x brightness enhancement, 2160Hz instant touch sampling rate, and ten-level dimming.
The Redmi K70E comes with exceptional color accuracy and eye protection capabilities, achieving impressive metrics with a Delta E of approximately 0.43 and a JNCN of around 0.31. It incorporates hardware-level blue light reduction, supports 1920Hz high-frequency PWM dimming, and introduces a circadian rhythm eye protection mode. Furthermore, it combines both hardware and software-based eye protection features, leading to its recognition and certification with an S++ rating for visual health friendliness.
The device is powered by the Dimensity 8300-Ultra chipset made using TSMC’s 4nm process and up to 16GB of LPDDR5x RAM. With this new chipset, the device features a lot of AI-related features. It includes Xiao Ai large models, AI portraits, AI input, AI audio pickup, AI-IoT automation, and AI album search.
In terms of storage, the K70E features up to 1 TB of UFS 4.0 storage. Out of the box, the phone runs on HyperOS-based Android 14. The device features a 5000mm² stainless steel VC (Vapor Chamber) and utilizes high-power graphite material with an impressive thermal conductivity of 1500W/mK, establishing a highly efficient heat dissipation system.
In terms of its camera setup, the Redmi K70E boasts a triple-camera configuration on the rear, consisting of a 64-megapixel OV64B main camera with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS), an 8-megapixel ultra-wide camera, and a 2-megapixel macro camera. On the front, it is equipped with a 16-megapixel camera dedicated to capturing selfies.
Beneath its exterior, the K70E houses a robust 5,500mAh battery compatible with rapid 90W charging. The device also features Xiaomi’s Sea Star Algorithm, preserving over 90% battery capacity after 1000 cycles. The Smart Charging Engine extends battery life, reducing the need for replacements.
