Today, Xiaomi officially unveiled the Redmi x Automobili Lamborghini Squadra Corse via a Weibo post. The Redmi K70 x Automobili Lamborghini co-branded device is set to be officially launched at the Xiaomi Redmi 10th-anniversary and the Redmi K70 series product launch event tonight.
What to expect?
This collaboration follows Xiaomi’s previous co-branding with the Mercedes AMG Petronas F1 team for the Redmi K50 series, known as the Redmi K50 Gaming Mercedes AMG Petronas Edition, which was launched in February last year.
While specific details about the upcoming co-branded device are yet to be revealed, the previous collaboration at least gives an idea of what to expect from this gaming-focused special edition device. The previous Mercedes AMG Petronas Edition gaming device distinguished itself with a different paint job compared to the base models, showcasing the color scheme of the Mercedes F1 cars. Other than that, it featured a QHD+ 6.67” display powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 Chip.
In addition to the Gaming Edition, the Redmi K70 series comprises three other models: the Redmi K70 e, Redmi K70, and Redmi K70 Pro, equipped with Dimensity 8300-Ultra, Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, and Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, respectively. The Redmi K70 Pro, featuring the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, recently surfaced on Geekbench with a maximum of 24 GB RAM paired with 1024 GB storage. Notably, it boasts a 4000-nit display.
