Recently Lava launched the Yuva 3 Pro smartphone in India. Now, the homegrown brand is gearing up to announce a new smartphone in the country. Today, Lava has revealed the launch date of the upcoming offering which will be called the Storm 5G. The teaser shared by the company also gives us a slight glimpse at the device. 

Lava Storm 5G to debut in India this month

Lava is set to launch the Storm 5G smartphone in India on December 21. It will be available for purchase from Amazon. The teaser video reveals that the device has a boxy form factor with power and volume rocker buttons located on the right side. The former will likely double up as a fingerprint scanner. The back panel has three circular rings with the top two larger rings expected to have a camera sensor whereas the smaller ring may accommodate an LED flash unit. 

The teaser also suggests that the Lava Storm 5G may come in Green and Black color options. The rest of the details of the upcoming smartphone remain a mystery.

As for the Lava Yuva 3 Pro, it has a 6.5-inch HD+ display with a 90Hz refresh rate. The device is powered by a Unisoc T616 processor coupled with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage. The smartphone features a 50MP rear camera along with a secondary lens and an 8MP selfie snapper. The Yuva 3 Pro is backed by a 5,000mAh battery unit with support for 18W charging. Software-wise, it runs on Android 13 out of the box.
