In early December, Motorola unveiled the Razr 40 Ultra in Pantone’s color of the year 2024 — Peach Fuzz. Soon after the announcement, the new variant of the phone was made available for purchase in several Western markets, including the US.

The new hue option for the device was also teased for other markets like India but it is yet to go on sale there. Amidst this, the company has revealed when this specific version of the product will hit the shelves in China.

The Motorola Razr 40 Ultra in Peach Fuzz is scheduled to go on sale in China starting January 11. However, the firm has not disclosed the price yet.

For comparison, the Viva Magenta variant (2023 Pantone color) of the handset currently retails at ¥5,399. Therefore, the newer hue option may cost about the same in the region.

As far as specs are concerned, there are no changes. The device is half a year old and its successor may take a few months to arrive.

The Razr 40 Ultra is a clamshell foldable smartphone flaunting a 6.9-inch 10-bit LTPO foldable display. The panel offers an FHD+ resolution, a 165Hz refresh rate, and a 1400 nits peak brightness level.

Its cover screen measures 3.6 inches and takes up almost half of the phone’s back. This 10-bit  panel has a resolution of 1056 x 1066 pixels, a 144Hz refresh rate, and a 1100 nits peak brightness level.

Under the hood, the handset houses a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 chip paired with LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.1 storage. It also nests a 3,800mAh battery that supports 30W wired and 5W wireless charging standards.

The device sports a dual camera system comprising a 12MP primary sensor and a 13MP ultrawide unit. On the front, it has a 32MP snapper.

Other features include a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, dual stereo speakers, and NFC.
