As scheduled, Xiaomi took wraps off the Redmi Note 13 series in India today. The lineup consists of three models, namely Redmi Note 13 5G, Redmi Note 13 Pro 5G, and Redmi Note 13 Pro Plus 5G.
The three phones are the same as the ones sold in China. However, the vanilla model is slightly different as it comes with a better camera system than its Chinese counterpart.

Redmi Note 13 5G Specifications
The Redmi Note 13 5G features a flat frame design. It looks more boxy and has a square camera island.
The device flaunts a 6.67-inch centered punch-hole AMOLED display protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5. This panel offers a resolution of 2400 x 1080 pixels (FHD+), a 120Hz refresh rate, and a 240Hz touch sampling rate. The screen supports up to 1920Hz PWM dimming and 1000 nits peak brightness level.
The smartphone is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 6080 chipset. The SoC is paired with LPDDR4x RAM and UFS 2.2 storage. It boots MIUI 14 based on Android 13.
The handset sports a triple camera setup on the rear comprising a 108MP primary sensor, an 8MP ultrawide unit, and a 2MP macro snapper. On the front, it has a 16MP selfie camera.
The connectivity options on the phone include dual SIM, 5G, WiFi 6E, Bluetooth 5.2, GNSS, and USB Type-C. It also arrives with a 3.5mm headphone jack, dual stereo speakers, a MicroSD card slot, an IR blaster, a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, and an IP54 rating for splash resistance.
Last but not least, the device draws energy from a 5,000mAh battery and carries support for 33W wired charging.

The Redmi Note 13 5G carries the following price tags in India.
- 6GB + 128GB – ₹17,999 (~$215)
- 8GB + 256GB – ₹19,999 (~$240)
- 12GB + 256GB – ₹21,999 (~$265)
It can be availed in either Arctic White, Stealth Black, or Prism Gold color options.
The first sale is scheduled for at 12 PM on January 10 via Mi.com, Amazon, and retail stores.
