The device is expected to arrive as the successor to last year’s G 5G (2023).

Moto G 5G (2024) Geekbench listing

The Geekbench database does not reveal the model number of the Moto G 5G (2024). The listing reveals a motherboard codenamed ‘fogo’. It comprises two 2.02GHz primary cores and six 1.80GHz additional cores. There is Adreno 619 GPU. This suggests that the Moto G 5G (2024) will likely be powered by a Snapdragon 4 Gen 1 processor. The device will pack 4GB RAM onboard. Software-wise, it will run on pre-installed Android 14 OS out of the box.

In the Geekbench’s single-core and multi-core test results, the Moto G 5G (2024) scores 842 and 1,692 points respectively. The rest of the details of the smartphone remain under the wraps. We can expect it to launch in the near future.

Leaked renders revealed that the Moto G 5G (2024) will have a boxy form factor with a side-mounted fingerprint scanner and a slightly raised rear camera module. It will feature a centre-aligned punch-hole cutout with a slightly thick chin. The smartphone will offer a 6.5-inch display, a USB-C port, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
