Samsung is working on a next gen smart band model. The device in question is the Galaxy Fit 3, which was recently spotted on a certification platform in Malaysia. This hints that its official release may be near, so here are all the details.

The South Korean tech giant’s upcoming Galaxy Fit 3 smart band surfaced on Malaysia’s SIRIM certification platform. Looking at the listing, the wearable was spotted carrying the model number SM-R390. The SIRIM certification does hint at an imminent launch but does not reveal any other finer details regarding this device. As the name suggests, the smart band will function as a fitness tracker. Back in December 2023, the Samsung Galaxy Fit 3 surfaced on Bluetooth SIG along with the Galaxy XCover 7.

Other certifications sightings include TUV Rheinland, BIS, and FCC as well. A recent report also claimed that the Samsung Galaxy Fit 3 may offer up to 21 days of battery life on a single full charge. This is a major improvement of 7 days over its predecessor. In a separate leak, the poster of the smart band was revealed, which showcased the different color options and a bigger display as well.

Based on what we know so far, the Galaxy Fit 3 is expected to arrive with various health related sensors that enable sleep, blood pressure, and heart rate tracking. It could sport a 1.1-inch AMOLED display that supports always on. Other notable features include 5ATM water resistance, Find My tracker, 200mAh battery pack, and 5W charging.
