Meizu 21 Pro is all set to launch on Feb. 29 in China. The company aims to focus on AI in the future, which suggests that the 21 Pro could be its last flagship phone. Here’s a look at the details of the device that have emerged so far.

Meizu 21 Pro key specifications

Meizu has officially confirmed that the Meizu 21 Pro will have a 6.79-inch screen with a mTouch Max ultrasonic in-display fingerprint scanner. The 21 Pro has an aspect ratio comfortable enough for single-handed operation. In addition, the fingerprint sensor will have a larger scanning area, which will assist in faster unlocking.

According to a new leak by tipster Digital Chat Station, the Meizu 21 Pro’s AMOLED LTPO panel will offer a 2K resolution. Likely, the screen may also support a 120Hz refresh rate.

Under the hood, the Meizu 21 Pro will have the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset and 16 GB of RAM. The tipster did not say anything about the storage of the device. The Meizu 21’s topmost model offers 12 GB of RAM and 512 GB of storage. It is likely that the Pro variant may arrive with up to 1 TB of storage.

DCS said that the Meizu 21 Pro has a 50-megapixel primary camera, which appears to the OV50H OmniVision camera sensor. It will be joined by a telephoto camera. The leaker further said that the engineering prototype of the 21 Pro has a periscope camera. It appears that the final device may feature it, as most other competing flagship phones are equipped with a periscope zoom unit. Other leaks have claimed that the device will pack a 5,000mAh battery with 80W fast charging and 50W wireless charging.
