The Realme 12 Pro series made its debut in China today. These phones were first unveiled in India at the end of last month.

As expected, the handsets are priced lower than in India. But what’s more interesting is that they are more affordable than their predecessors.

The Realme 12 Pro starts at ¥1,599 (~$220) in China. Whereas, the Realme 11 Pro was introduced at ¥1,699 (~$235). That’s a price drop of ¥100 (~$15). The base variant of both phones offers 8GB RAM and 256GB storage.

On the other hand, the Realme 11 Pro Plus was launched at ¥2,099 (~$290) for the base 12GB + 256GB memory configuration. Whereas the base model of the Reame 12 Pro Plus is way more affordable at ¥1,699 (~$235) since it comes with 8GB RAM. Even the 12GB RAM version is ¥100 (~$15) cheaper at ¥1,999 (~$275).

For comparison, the 8GB + 256GB variant of Realme 12 Pro retails at ₹26,999 (~$325) in India. While the 8GB + 256GB version of Realme 12 Pro Plus costs ₹31,999 (~$385)

This makes the Pro and the Pro Plus cheaper in China by approximately 30% and 40%, respectively.
