Samsung has updated its Try Galaxy web app to allow users to experience Galaxy AI features, even if they don’t own a Galaxy phone. This includes features like Live Translate, which translates conversations in real-time, Chat Assist, which helps users refine the tone of their messages, and Note Assist, which automatically generates summaries of notes.

Previously, the Try Galaxy app was only available on iOS and aimed at attracting iPhone users to switch to Android. Now, the app is available on both Android and iOS, allowing users to try out the features of the Galaxy S24 series and One UI 6.1 before they buy a new phone.

The Try Galaxy experience simulates the look and feel of the Galaxy S24 home screen and includes tutorials and interactive content to help users learn how to use the new features. There are also widget breakdowns of core AI features like Live Translate, Note Assist, Chat Assist, Photo Assist, and Circle to Search with Google.

Live Translate allows users to communicate in different languages through real-time translation of phone calls and text. Note Assist helps users organize their notes by automatically generating summaries and formatting the text. Chat Assist helps users refine the tone of their messages, making them sound more professional or casual depending on the situation. Photo Assist provides tools for editing photos, such as removing objects, resizing images, and erasing reflections. Circle to Search with Google allows users to search for anything on their screen by drawing a circle around it.

In addition to AI features, the app also showcases the Galaxy S24 series’ advanced camera tools, including Nightography Zoom for clear photos at night, Super Steady for recording videos of moving subjects, and Portrait mode for impressive portraits and selfies. Users can also explore new Galaxy Themes, and Art Wallpapers, and learn about features like multi-device connectivity, file-sharing, and health data tracking.

The Try Galaxy app is available in 20 languages and can be accessed by visiting trygalaxy.com or scanning a QR code. The app is compatible with Android OS smartphones with the latest version of Chrome and iOS 14 or higher on Safari.
