As scheduled, Samsung has launched the Galaxy F15 5G in India today. The device is nearly identical to the Galaxy A15 5G with only one major difference.
The F series phone houses a larger battery than the A series model. At the same time, it is slightly cheaper.
Samsung Galaxy F15 5G Specifications
The Galaxy F15 5G looks like any other Samsung smartphone. It has a vertically aligned triple camera setup on the back and a flat frame.
The front of the handset is fitted with a 6.5-inch Super AMOLED display sporting a dewdrop notch. The panel offers a resolution of 2340 x 1080 pixels (FHD+) and a 90Hz refresh rate.
The device is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 6100 Plus SoC. The chip is paired with 4GB/6GB RAM and 128GB storage.
The phone boots One UI 6.0 based on Android 14. Samsung promises 4 generations of Android updates and 5 years of security patches.
The triple camera system on the rear consists of a 50MP primary sensor, a 5MP ultrawide unit, and a 2MP macro snapper. On the front, there’s a 13MP shooter.
Other features of the handset include 13 5G bands, a side-mounted fingerprint, a MicroSD card slot, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. Last but not least, it is backed by a 6,000mAh battery with support for 25W charging (power adapter sold separately).
Samsung Galaxy F15 5G Price in India
The Galaxy F15 5G carries the following price tags in India.
- 4GB + 128GB – ₹15,999 (~$195)
- 6GB + 128GB – ₹16,999 (~$205)
It comes in three colors, namely Ash Black, Groovy Violet, and Jazzy Green color options.
The product will be sold via Flipkart and Samsung.com. The early sale starts tonight at 7 PM IST.
