Samsung launched the Galaxy S24 Ultra back in January, and since then it has received a few updates polishing its user experience. That being said, one issue, where the camera is capturing dark photos under specific circumstances has managed to slip through the cracks.
Samsung has acknowledged the issue and has assured the Galaxy S24 Ultra users that it is working on a fix. The majority of Galaxy S24 Ultra owners will likely not encounter this issue, as it requires specific adjustments to reproduce. That being said, it happens when users lock the auto exposure between 1.6-1.9x and 4.6-9.9x zoom in the camera app and then take a picture.
In related news, Samsung’s Galaxy S24 series has sparked a significant sales rebound, with an 8% global sales increase over last year. Notably, sales in Europe surged by 28%, and in the US by 14%. The Galaxy S24 Ultra is leading the pack, accounting for over half of the series’ sales.
