Google is currently working on new Pixel devices, including the rumored Pixel Watch 3 smartwatch. While there have been some leaks about the wearable, concrete details about it are still scarce. However, a recent certification has revealed the battery size of the Pixel Watch 3.

The smartwatch appeared in regulatory filings from Dekra and Safety Korea with the model number G1QME. While it’s not confirmed, the model number is said to be of the Pixel Watch 3.

According to these filings, the Pixel Watch 3 is expected to feature a 307mAh battery. This is just a 3mAh increase from the 304mAh battery found in the Pixel Watch 2 and a modest bump from the first-gen model’s 294mAh unit.

A previous rumor suggests that the Pixel Watch 3 may offer two size options, addressing a common complaint about previous models’ relatively small size. Google could be introducing a larger 45mm variant alongside the existing 41mm options to cater to users who found the previous sizes too compact.

Furthermore, there’s speculation that the Pixel Watch 3 will be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon W5 Plus Gen 1 SoC. The new chip should deliver performance and battery efficiency gain over its predecessors. Combined with Wear OS optimization, this could mean a snappier user experience and more time between charges.

Google seems to be sticking with the circular watch face design for its third-generation wearable. Though the exact design remains under wraps, subtle tweaks are expected to differentiate it from its predecessors.

Details about the Pixel Watch 3 are still emerging, and we’ll keep you updated as more information becomes available.
