iQOO Z9 Turbo launch date has been officially confirmed. The brand is all set to take off the covers from the most powerful Z-series phone on April 24 in China. In the home market, the Z9 Turbo will be pitted against the Redmi Turbo 3 and the upcoming Realme GT Neo 6. All three phones feature the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset.

According to reports, the Z9 lineup includes two more devices, such as the iQOO Z9 with the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 onboard and the iQOO Z9x featuring the Snapdragon 6 Gen 1. It is unclear whether the Z9 and Z9x will debut alongside the Turbo variant. Here’s a look at what the reports have revealed about it.
iQOO Z9 Turbo specifications (rumored)
So far, iQOO has confirmed that the iQOO Z9 Turbo will feature the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset, a 6,000mAh battery, a 6K VC heat dissipation unit, and a dedicated chip for handling graphics. According to other reports, the Z9 Turbo will feature a 6.78-inch flat OLED panel that offers a 1.5K resolution, a 144Hz refresh rate, 2160Hz PWM dimming, and an in-screen fingerprint sensor.
The Z9 Turbo is said to arrive with 12 GB / 16 GB of LPDDR5x RAM and 1 TB of UFS 4.0 storage. It is expected to run on OriginOS 4-based Android 14. It will have a 16-megapixel camera on the front and a 50-megapixel (main, with OIS) + 8-megapixel dual-camera system on the back. There is no information about the device’s price.
