Land Rover has unveiled a limited-edition, high-performance version of the Range Rover Sport in China – the SV Edition One. Only 15 units will be available, carrying a hefty price tag of 2.438 million yuan (approximately $336,879 USD).

The car features a 4.4 liter V8 engine with a top speed of 289kmph

The Range Rover Sport SV Edition One boasts impressive power thanks to a new, twin-turbocharged 4.4-liter V8 engine with mild hybrid technology. This powerhouse delivers a staggering 635 horsepower and 750 Nm of torque, translating to a 0-60 mph (96.56 km/h) time of just 3.6 seconds and a top speed of 289 kilometers per hour.

Land Rover has equipped the SV Edition One with a world-first technology – the 6D Intelligent Dynamic Chassis. This complex suspension system utilizes interconnected dampers, adjustable air springs, and pitch control for superior handling. A semi-active anti-roll system further enhances stability while reducing weight for a smoother ride. Additionally, CVSA2 adaptive dampers provide exceptional road control and comfort through electronically managed rebound and compression adjustments.

For an exhilarating driving experience, the SV mode tailors steering, transmission, throttle response, exhaust sound, and the 6D chassis, pushing the boundaries of dynamic performance. This mode also activates the track-oriented Trac DSC system, empowering drivers to explore the car’s full potential.

The luxurious interior features a fully digital instrument cluster, a massive 13.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a three-spoke multifunction steering wheel, and an electronic gear shifter. Uniquely, the SV Edition One is the world’s first production car to integrate SUBPAC’s haptic audio system. This system utilizes AI and sensors to create high-fidelity vibrations in the front seats, offering a multi-dimensional listening experience.

The Range Rover Sport SV Edition One’s head-turning design features a carbon fiber appearance kit, a redesigned matrix grille, sleek headlights, and strategically placed air vents for enhanced aerodynamics. Hidden door handles, a redesigned rear surround with quad exhaust tips adorned with carbon fiber covers, and an exclusive SV badge complete the exterior transformation. With its limited availability, the Range Rover Sport SV Edition One caters to a select group of car enthusiasts seeking a premium driving experience.
