Earlier this month, Bose unveiled its SoundLink Max, the brand’s biggest portable Bluetooth speaker yet. Pre-orders for the SoundLink Max are now open in China for 3,199 yuan ($451 USD), with shipments starting May 31st.

Bose SoundLink Max specs & features
The SoundLink Max delivers rich stereo sound with deep bass, featuring Bose’s articulating array, three front-facing drivers, and dual passive radiators. Its rugged, IP67-rated enclosure is corrosion and UV-resistant, making it ideal for outdoor use.

At 10.42 inches wide and 4.7 pounds (2.13 kg), it is portable, with an integrated climbing rope handle. The battery lasts 20 hours and can reverse charge, allowing the speaker to function as a power bank for smartphones.
The SoundLink Max uses Bluetooth 5.3 and supports SBC and AAC codecs for wide device compatibility. It also features Qualcomm’s Snapdragon Sound technology with aptX Adaptive for high-quality wireless audio. Lastly, the speaker is available in Black and Blue color options.
