Lava is gearing up to launch a new smartphone in India. The homegrown brand has now revealed the launch date of the upcoming offering. The company has shared a teaser of the Lava Yuva 5G revealing its design. Additionally, Amazon has also put up a microsite of the device confirming its availability on the e-commerce platform. Lava Yuva 5G launching in India this week
The Lava Yuva 5G is set to launch in India on May 30 at 12 pm local time. The teaser video shared by the company reveals the device with a flat frame. The power button is expected to double up as a fingerprint scanner. There is a circular camera module on the rear. The smartphone will be available in Blue and Green colors. The brand adds that the phone will feature a premium glass back with a matte finish.
The Lava Yuva 5G is confirmed to come with dual cameras headlined by a 50MP main sensor. On the front, the device will feature a centre-aligned punch-hole cutout and a thick chin at the bottom. The SIM tray, USB-C port, and speaker grille are located at the bottom whereas the top of the phone has a 3.5mm jack.
The rest of the details of the Lava Yuva 5G remain a mystery at this time. A Lava smartphone was spotted on the Geekbench benchmarking platform recently with model number LXX513. It is said to be powered by a Dimensity 6080 or 6300. Meanwhile, tipster Paras Guglani adds that the Lava Yuva 4 Pro 5G that surfaced earlier in January this year will launch as Yuva 5G as there’s a change in plans.
