Huawei has introduced a new Green edition of the Huawei Watch Ultimate, featuring enhanced Advanced Golf Features and an upgraded Expedition Mode for adventurers and professionals.
Initially launched last year in Blue and Black, the smartwatch now comes in a third color option with additional features. Alongside this watch, the company has also introduced the Watch GT 5 series.
1. Huawei Watch Ultimate Specifications
The Huawei Watch Ultimate features a robust build with high-end materials, sporting a 1.5-inch LTPO AMOLED display with a 466 x 466 resolution, protected by sapphire glass. It comes with a zirconium-based liquid metal case, the first of its kind for smartwatches, providing durability and corrosion resistance. The watch also features a dual-color nano-tech ceramic bezel, adding to its premium and rugged aesthetic.
The smartwatch is water-resistant up to 10ATM, allowing it to be submerged at depths of up to 100 meters. It also carries ISO 22810 waterproof and EN 13319 diving standards certification, making it ideal for divers. Equipped with a 530mAh battery, it offers up to 14 days of typical use or 8 days with heavy usage. It also supports fast Qi wireless charging, allowing a full recharge in just 60 minutes.
2. Special Features
The new green color edition is complemented by a stylish dual-color woven strap, designed to be antibacterial, splash-resistant, and breathable. The watch also introduces five new pre-set watch faces, including three golf-themed options. With Huawei’s first Global Advanced Golf Course Mode, users can access over 15,000 golf courses worldwide. This feature uses precision dual-frequency GNSS to provide high-accuracy positioning, “plays-like” distance calculations, and intelligent recommendations through the AI Caddie feature.
Outdoor enthusiasts will appreciate the enhanced Expedition Mode, which now supports all-color contour maps for offline use and an Expedition Route Import feature for pre-planning routes. Health monitoring also takes a central role, with features like ECG analysis, SpO2 tracking, sleep tracking, and skin temperature measurement.
3. Pricing & Availability
The Huawei Watch Ultimate Green Edition is priced at £749.99 and is available internationally, including in the UK and Europe, from September 19, 2024.
Customers ordering from the UK Huawei Store or Amazon between September 19 and October 22 will receive a free pair of Huawei FreeBuds Pro 3 earbuds. The watch will also be available at retailers like Currys and Argos.
