New POCO F series smartphones are nearing global launch soon. The POCO F7 Pro was recently spotted on the IMDA certification platform, and now, the POCO F7 and POCO F7 Ultra have been spotted on the same online database. So let’s check it out.
POCO F7 and POCO F7 Ultra Release Near?

On the IMDA certification (Via MySmartPrice), the two upcoming smartphones were spotted with the 24122RKC7G and 2412DPC0AG model numbers. While the certification does not reveal finer details regarding the POCO smartphones, it does confirm support for 5G connectivity, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, and NFC. Apart from this, the listing hints that the POCO F7 series of smartphones are set to launch in the global market soon.
The POCO F7 and POCO F7 Ultra monikers were previously revealed in the IMEI database, with the latter being the first ever “Ultra” branded phone. Based on what we know so far, the POCO F7 Ultra might be a rebranded version of the Redmi K80 Pro. For those unaware, the K80 Pro model will be launching in the Chinese market soon, and it features some top notch specs and features. To recall, the Redmi K80 Pro is rumored to feature the Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC under the hood. On the front, it will sport a 6.67-inch OLED display with a 2K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate.

Earlier rumors has also confirmed that the POCO F7 Ultra will house a massive 6,000mAh battery pack that will support 120W wired fast charging. This model might also be the first model to bring support for wireless fast charging. Earlier today, we covered the Redmi Turbo 4 surfacing on the 3C certification with 90W wired fast charging. The POCO F7 is expected to arrive as a rebranded Redmi Turbo 4. This model could also be equipped with the MediaTek Dimensity 8400 SoC, 6000mAh battery pack, 1.5K resolution, and more.
