Realme has officially confirmed that the much-anticipated Realme Neo7 smartphone will be launched on December 11 in China. While the global launch date remains unknown, this mid-range powerhouse is already generating excitement. Realme has just confirmed that the Neo7 will come with a massive 7000mAh Titan battery, a feature that is rare in smartphones, even in the flagship category.

Realme to launch the mid-range Neo7 with a focus on performance and battery life
Realme has teamed up with Ningde New Energy (CATL) to develop the Titan battery and has likely opted for the Si/C battery tech, which offers a higher energy density and keeps the batteries lighter despite a higher capacity. This collaboration adds credibility to the battery’s claims of delivering excellent performance.
According to previous rumors, the phone will support 80W SuperVOOC wired charging, allowing for rapid charging of the massive battery. The phone is also expected to feature a large 1.5K resolution display, which will offer sharp visuals for both entertainment and productivity.

In terms of performance, the phone will feature a Dimensity 9300+ processor, which has already shown impressive performance with a running score of 2.4 million points, as revealed by prolific leaker Digital Chat Station.
The “quality > IP68” the company previously teased, suggests that the phone could come with an IP69 dust and water-resistant rating, something we have seen in only a handful of flagships and performance-oriented devices so far.
With a starting price of around ¥2499 (approximately $345, €330, or INR 29,100), the Neo7 is aimed at the competitive mid-range segment.
In November, Xu Qi, Realme’s vice president, president of global marketing, and president of China, revealed that there will be two different categories for its mid-range segment going forward, namely the high-end “realme GT series” and the mid-range e-sports focused “realme Neo series”. Realme claims that the upcoming Neo7 will offer the “strongest performance, battery life, and quality” in its price range.
How does it compare to the realme GT Neo6?
In comparison, the realme GT Neo6 (launched in May this year) comes with a Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 SoC, a 5500mAh battery, and 120W charging. The Neo7, however, is likely to surpass the GT Neo6 in terms of both battery life and performance, making it an enticing option for those who want a more powerful device without breaking the bank.
With Realme’s aggressive approach in the mid-range segment, the Neo7 is shaping up to be an excellent option for users seeking flagship-level performance at an affordable price point.
