On April 10, Oppo will unveil the much-anticipated Find X8 Ultra flagship phone. It will be the only flagship among competitors like the Vivo X200 Ultra, Xiaomi 15 Ultra, and Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra to feature a 1-inch primary camera. The X8 Ultra has been available for pre-orders since last week in its home market. While the brand confirmed its variants and color options, it did not reveal its design.
Today, the updated pre-order listing of the phone has revealed the official renders, giving the first look at its design and color options.
Oppo Find X8 Ultra color options
The Oppo Find X8 Ultra will come in three shades: Starry Black, Moonlight White, and Morning Light. Its design is similar to the Find X8 Pro, but despite packing better cameras, the camera bulge appears to be less pronounced. A new addition is the pressable “Magic Cube” hardware button on the left edge, replacing the Alert Slider. While the X8 Pro features a micro-quad-curved display, the X8 Ultra differentiates itself by offering a completely flat display.

According to reports, the Oppo Find X8 Ultra will feature a 6.82-inch OLED panel that supports a 2K+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, it will house the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, LPDDR5X RAM, UFS 4.0 storage, and a 6,100mAh battery with 100W wired and 80W magnetic wireless charging support.
The Find X8 Ultra’s rear camera setup will include a 50-megapixel Sony LYT-900 (1-inch) primary camera with OIS, a 50-megapixel Samsung JN6 ultra-wide lens with autofocus, a 50-megapixel LYT-700 3x periscope telephoto camera with OIS, and an OIS-enabled 50-megapixel 6x periscope zoom camera. For selfies, it will feature a 32-megapixel front-facing camera.
The X8 Ultra will run on Android 15 with a layer of ColorOS 15 on top. Other features include an ultrasonic in-screen fingerprint sensor, a 0916 custom vibration motor, dual speakers, and an IP68/69-rated dustproof and water-resistant chassis. The device measures 8.78mm in thickness and weighs 226 grams. When it comes to configurations, it will be available in 12GB+256GB and 16GB+512GB options. Additioanlly, the brand will offer a Satellite Communication Version of the phone with a 16GB+1TB configuration.
