Samsung’s next big Unpacked event is shaping up to be a major showcase for its foldable lineup — and now, we may know exactly when it’s happening. According to a new leak, Samsung’s 7th generation foldables will be unveiled in the second week of July, with New York likely serving as the venue.

Tipster @evleaks shared the potential date and time — 10 AM EDT on July 9 — and it lines up with Samsung’s usual summer Unpacked schedule. Last year’s foldables were revealed on July 10 in Paris, so a similar early-July launch would make sense.
Fueling the speculation further, Samsung recently announced a series of Galaxy Health running events kicking off July 13 in New York, possibly tied to the debut of the Galaxy Watch 8 and Galaxy Watch Ultra 2, which are expected to be part of the Unpacked announcements.

As for the foldables themselves, the Galaxy Z Fold 7 is rumored to feature a slimmer profile — rumored to be as thin as 4.1mm when unfolded — along with a 200MP main camera and Qualcomm’s new Snapdragon 8 Elite chip. The Galaxy Z Flip 7, on the other hand, could pack the Exynos 2500 in certain regions.
A new addition to the lineup could be the Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE — a budget-friendly foldable reportedly priced around $750, with scaled-down specs such as an Exynos 2400e or Exynos 2400 chip and 12MP dual cameras.
All three devices are expected to ship with One UI 8 based on Android 16, bringing along a new batch of Galaxy AI features and improved generative tools.
The company could confirm the Unpacked date before the end of June — just like last year. So stick around.
