Vivo has officially launched the Y500 Pro, a new mid-range smartphone that blends capable performance with exceptional battery life. The brand’s latest Y series model brings a massive battery pack, a MediaTek Dimensity chipset, and an approachable price tag. So here are all the details.

Vivo Y500 Pro: What does it offer?

The Chinese tech giant just announced the Vivo Y500 Pro in its home market. It sports a 6.67-inch OLED display with a 1.5K resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, slim 1.37mm bezels, and up to 5000 nits of peak brightness. Under the hood, this device is equipped with the MediaTek Dimensity 7400 SoC, which is paired with up to 12GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 512GB of internal storage.

A massive 7000mAh battery pack powers the Vivo Y500 Pro, which supports 90W wired fast charging. Despite its large battery capacity, the smartphone measures just 7.81mm thick and weighs 198 grams. For optics, the rear has a dual camera setup with a 200MP Samsung HP5 sensor that supports OIS along with a 2MP depth shooter. Meanwhile, the front houses a 32MP camera for selfies and video calls. Other notable features include Bluetooth 5.4, OTG, Wi-Fi, an IR blaster, and an IP68 + IP69 rating for water and dust resistance.’

Vivo has just announced the Y500 Pro in multiple color options, which include Auspicious Cloud, Light Green, Soft Powder, and Titanium Black. It is also available in multiple storage configurations, so here are the pricing details:

  • 8GB + 256GB – 1,999 Yuan (roughly 280 US Dollars)
  • 12GB + 256GB – 2,299 Yuan (roughly 323 US Dollars)
  • 12GB + 512GB – 2,599 Yuan (roughly 365 US Dollars)
