Vivo has silently launched the Vivo Y60 in China as a new budget 5G smartphone in its Y-series lineup. The device arrives with a Snapdragon 4-series chipset, a large 6500mAh battery, a 120Hz display, an IP65 rating and SGS five-star drop and shock resistance certification. The Vivo Y60 features a 6.74-inch LCD waterdrop notch display with 1600 x 720 pixels resolution, 20:9 aspect ratio and support for up to 120Hz refresh rate. Powering the smartphone is Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 chipset, paired with 6GB or 8GB LPDDR4X RAM and up to 256GB UFS 3.1 storage.

The Vivo Y60 packs a 6500mAh battery with support for 15W charging and reverse charging. The device runs OriginOS 6 based on Android 16. For photography, the smartphone features a 13-megapixel rear camera with autofocus and LED flash support, while the front houses a 5-megapixel selfie camera.

The Vivo Y60 supports dual 5G SIM cards, Bluetooth 5.1, dual-band Wi-Fi, GPS, USB Type-C, a 3.5mm headphone jack, infrared remote control and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. The device measures 167.40 x 77.10 x 8.39mm and weighs 209 grams. Vivo has also equipped the phone with IP65 dust and water resistance along with SGS five-star drop and shock resistance certification.

The Vivo Y60 comes in Shanhaiqing Blue, Lucky Purple and Obsidian Black color options. The 6GB + 128GB variant is priced at 1,799 Yuan (~$265), while the 6GB + 256GB model costs 1,999 Yuan (~$300). The top-end 8GB + 256GB version carries a price tag of 2,299 Yuan (~$340). At present, there is no information about the global availability of this device.
