Vivo‘s X500 series had barely launched in China before the company confirmed its plans for Europe. The brand launched the X500, X500 Pro, and X500 Pro Max with the 2nm Dimensity 9600 Pro on September 21, and just a day later, it announced the European launch date.
The European launch event is set for October 27, and that’s also when pre-orders will open. The phones will then go on sale on November 5.
There is one detail that remains unclear, though. Vivo’s European event page refers to the “X500 series” in general, but the standard X500 isn’t listed or shown anywhere. This could mean Vivo is only bringing the Pro and Pro Max to Europe, although the company has not confirmed that yet.
Uncertainty for X500 in Europe
The uncertainty around the standard model in Europe comes despite other signs of a wider global launch. The Pro and Pro Max have appeared in the EU’s EPREL listings, confirming battery size and notably missing the vanilla X500.
Meanwhile, all three X500, X500 Pro, and X500 Pro Max have received SIRIM certification in Malaysia. For now, however, none of this confirms whether the base X500 will be sold in Europe.
Vivo is also offering an early-bird discount for European buyers. Those who register their interest can get a voucher worth up to €120, along with access to selected bundles and accessory offers. The voucher is available until November 30 or while supplies last.
The full €120 discount is available if you register before sales begin on November 5. Anyone who registers after that date will get an €80 discount instead.
