Lenovo is soon expected to announce Motorola Moto C and Moto C Plus smartphones. The new Moto C series is rumored to be the most affordable smartphones from Motorola that will be priced around $100.

The Moto C phones are low-end smartphones that are expected to be coming in multiple color options like black, white, red and gold. Aimed towards first-time phone users, the Moto C and Moto C Plus are allegedly packed with modest specs. The Moto C is a 3G only phone whereas the Moto C Plus supports LTE connectivity.

The Moto C has a 5-inch screen that supports a FWVGA resolution of 854 x 480 pixels. On the other side, the Moto C Plus also features a same-sized screen, but it supports an HD resolution 1,280 x 720 pixels. The Moto C is fueled by 32-bit quad-core processor running at 1.3 GHz whereas the C Plus has a 64-bit quad-core processor working at 1.1 GHz.

The Moto C will be featuring 1 GB of RAM and may come in storage models like 8 GB and 16 GB. The Moto C Plus will be coming with 1 GB or 2 GB depending on the region where it will be released and it will be packed with a native storage of 16 GB. Both phones are expected to feature microSD card slot.

There is a 5-megapixel fixed focus camera enabled with LED flash on the Moto C. Its selfie camera is of 2-megapixel that is coupled with selfie flash. The 8-megapixel rear camera of Moto C Plus has features like autofocus and LED flash. The 2-megapixel selfie camera of C Plus also features selfie flash. These phones will not be featuring a fingerprint scanner.

The Moto C has a 2,350 mAh battery and C Plus has a larger battery of 4,000 mAh capacity. Both phones will be running Android 7.0 Nougat OS. There is no information on the regions where the Moto C and Moto C Plus will be releasing. Hence, there is no confirmation whether it will be releasing in the U.S. or mainly targeted towards Asian countries.
