Lenovo first unveiled its amazing smart clock with Google Assistant in January this year at CES 2019 and was scheduled to start shipping in Spring. Since then, the device which had an $80 price tag didn’t go on sale until now. Pre-orders for the Lenovo Smart Clock is now being accepted on some retailers like Walmart and Home Depot in the US. The smart gadget is expected to start shipping in the early part of June.
The Lenovo Smart Clock is a bedside alarm clock that has a built-in speaker and is integrated with Google Assistant. The product is just portable enough to mount on the nightstand. The clock comes with a 4-inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 400X800 pixels. The screen displays parameters like the weather in addition to the digital clock. It can also be synchronized with the owners Google Calendar and thus provide some assistance when there is a need to shift your normal alarm wake-up time.

The body of the clock is wrapped in a soft grey fabric, which looks stylish and attractive. Lenovo’s logo is also crested at the back. Apart from the built-in speaker which can be used to play music as well as to use Google Assistant voice prompt, there is a built-in microphone which can be turned on and off. Thus, the gadget can be used for voice-powered automation, and for controlling your TV, among other Google Assistant features.
