Apple executives have talked about the M2 chipset that powers some of its latest mobile products. The new chip supposedly comes with cutting edge technology that offers various improvements. So here are all the details.
Tim Millet, the Vice President of the Cupertino based giant’s chip platform architecture and product marketing Vice President Bob Borchers talked about the latest chipset during an interview with TechCrunch. The Apple executives discussed the company’s silicon and its future during the interview. The officials also talked about how the the improvements in technology affect the consumers and where it plans on taking the chips moving forward.
Millet also revealed that the iPad Pro played an important role in the brand’s choice of shifting its Mac lineup to its M1 series of chips. He further added that Apple wanted to push the boundaries with its successor to the M1. The company had previously worked with Intel to power its PC lineup. But it finally decided to move away from its chip supplier and adopted its proprietary silicon.
Millet stated that “The M2 family was really now about maintaining that leadership position by pushing, again, to the limits of technology. We don’t leave things on the table. We don’t take a 20% bump and figure out how to spread it over three years… figure out how to eke out incremental gains. We take it all in one year; we just hit it really hard. That’s not what happens in the rest of the industry or historically.”
Nowadays, the smartwatch market is very competitive. Not only are there smartwatches and smart bands made by big brands like Apple, Samsung and Xiaomi, but there are also countless brands trying to impact them in different ways. And the smartwatch I want to introduce today, the KOSPET TANK T2, is a good watch. Although it has no significant advantages, but also the same no significant disadvantages, the price is just right.

Unboxing
If you buy TANK T2, you will receive a box like this. The way it opens is very elegant, and flipping the lid not only reveals the main accessories of the smartwatch, but also all the selling points are written inside the lid. In addition to the strap and charger, there is a manual and Tempered Glass underneath. while the screen glass is strong enough to keep it from breaking in harsh environments, this film will also prevent sand from scratching on the screen.
Design
The TANK T2 is a very outdoor style at first glance. The all-metal body with 9H Dual Glass Cover gives it excellent protection. 5ATM, IP69K and MIL-STD-810H, it basically has all the protection certifications you can imagine. This one is black frosted, two orange buttons with the default dial also looks very technological style.
The back cover is ABS without too many bumps, making it comfortable to wear. The included strap is made of silicone, which is the best material for most sports or outdoor watches. It’s not easy to get dirty or broken, it doesn’t absorb water, so it doesn’t stink if you don’t wash it for long time. For the TANK T2, the overall design is still very good looking, meets my expectations for a $100 outdoor smartwatch.
How to use & Function
The system of TANK T2 is still very simple. You don’t need a manual, basically you can figure out all the functions when you hands on. The watch has only two buttons and their functions are engraved directly on the frame. The top button is actually equivalent to the power button on the phone, responsible for back, lock screen and power on. Of course, you can also use it as a start timer or pause button. When there is no watch strap, it does look like a professional Stopwatch in hand.
And the button below is specially designed for sports. Press to select the mode you want among 70 sports modes. The superb number of modes covers most sports both indoors and outdoors, even if I want to swipe to the bottom it takes a long time.
Sometimes you forget to turn on the sports mode, right? TANK T2 enables smart recognition and reminder of 6 sports – stationary state, walking, running, cycling, elliptical and rower. The system can automatically sense current sports status without entering Sports Modes manually.
The T2 operates in almost the same way as other smartwatches. Swipe down the control center, swipe up the notification center. Left swipe is various monitoring indicators, and right swipe is Setting. setting is also mostly some monitoring data, such as heart rate and sleeping data. The T2 also has blood oxygen detection, and even blood pressure detection.
I must remind you that it doesn’t have the ability to download apps like Apple watch or OPPO Watch. The good thing is that TANK T2 is fully functional, so it’s not a big deal.
A good smartwatch must have a stable connection with your phone. So let’s see how the TANK T2 does in terms of connectivity. First of all, the KOSPET FIT, which is the same as the watch system, is a simple style, basically some sports data and basic functions. And the APP muti-language options can benefit users from different regions of the world.
We tested the stability of the watch’s connection to the phone, and in the week I wore it, incoming calls and messages were received properly. You can also make calls with the watch, as it has a speaker and microphone. But you can’t play music independently, you can only control the volume level of the phone and switch songs.
APP message push is also no problem, if there is no APP in the list that you want to receive information, you can also add it yourself. Although I rarely use it, the T2 adds a shutter function that can be used as a remote shutter button for the phone’s camera.
Battery
TANK T2 battery life is something you do not need to worry about, the official claim that even heavy use can last more than a week. I have been using it for a week and the battery life is indeed very long. Even if I wear the watch while sleeping, it would only use 3% more power. If I turn off some detection functions, I believe it will last 2 weeks. The only way to charge it is through the included special charger, but wireless charging absence is one of its few regrets.
When we go to evaluate KOSPET TANK T2 in general, we find that it is very all-round and has almost no drawbacks. Except for the wireless charging just mentioned, anyone who has used a wireless charging watch knows that it doesn’t really work as well as you expect. So for a $100 smartwatch, I think it’s worth it. Fully functional, sturdy, good-looking, stable connection, excellent battery life, the basic conditions of a good smartwatch are met. That’s enough for most people.
While reverse wireless charging has already been seen on Android smartphone from various brands, it seems that Apple is still working on developing this technology with the latest report also hinting at its arrival for next gen iPhones.
According to sources close to the matter, the Cupertino based giant is still working on perfecting the full reverse wireless charging technology for its iPhones. For those unaware, this technology basically makes your smartphone a wireless charging pad, enabling you to charge other products that support wireless charging. Meaning, your phone can end up charging another device that supports wireless charging, or even TWS earbuds that have charging cases that support the same.
The sources added that the brand had originally hoped to debut the reverse wireless charging technology on the iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max. However, the company had failed to meet its deadline. So now, it appears that Apple engineers are hard at work again to finish the wireless charging tech along with building software optimizations for it as well. Reverse wireless charging can also be called bilateral wireless charging.
Notably, ever since the iPhone 12 series, Apple has incorporated at least some elements that enable reverse wireless charging. However, this feature has been deactivated on the devices likely over various reasons. But once the company fully supports reverse wireless charging, we can expect the iPhones to be capable of charging any Qi enabled accessory. One of the best uses would likely include charging your AirPods.

Revolutionary “Safety Cone Robots” have been spotted on highways in Ningbo, China, according to the Ningbo Evening News. In the event of a car accident, these intelligent cones will spring into action, autonomously closing off the emergency lane and broadcasting an alert through a rear horn to warn following vehicles. After the accident is handled, the cones will return to their charging stations.
A collaboration between Ningbo Traffic Police Detachment, Ningbo Datong Development Co., Ltd., and Farsoon Digital Technology (Zhejiang) Co., Ltd, these robots feature a dome light on top and smooth-moving wheels on the bottom, allowing them to maneuver in formation like a fleet of drones. The cones use With the south link of the Hangzhou Bay Cross-sea Bridge undergoing an intelligent transformation, millimeter-wave radar, and visual image sensing equipment have been installed to detect and respond to unexpected road conditions. Upon discovering such a situation on the road, the drones receive instructions via the ‘brain’ of the command centre. Personnel who are in charge of the operation can simply deploy the fleet of drones using one button.
Driving at high speeds is vastly different from driving on standard roads. To ensure the safety of passing vehicles, an emergency lane must be closed as quickly as possible. In the past, it took up to 30 minutes to close the lane in the case of a traffic jam, but with the help of these intelligent safety cones, the process is reduced to mere seconds, greatly improving emergency response times. The cones take mere seconds to respond to an event, which is far better than simply waiting for response teams to arrive at the scene and block off a section of the highway. This technology can prove to be extremely helpful, especially on expressways and highways where the nearest response teams can be far away from the site of the incident.

Huawei is pretty popular for smartwatches in the market. They have some really good sets of smartwatches available in the market under their branding. But now, a report claims that the corporation is working on a new upcoming lineup of smartwatches. The companion app for their watches – Huawei Health, has now listed a few upcoming smartwatches. A complete lineup of the forthcoming gadget with the model number AOD-H1 has been spotted on the Huawei Health application.
It could be an upcoming Huawei Watch GT4 or Watch 4 series. But when we compared all the model numbers of the watches, we found this one is completely standalone. All the previous Huawei smartwatch comes with model number B.19 in their respective build numbers. B.19 is common among the model number of the Huawei watches. However, the newly spotted model number does not have it. The absence of the B.19 hints that this could be altogether a new smartwatch lineup which will be launched by the brand in near future. Honor, a former Huawei subsidiary, has always used B39 and B19. For instance, MUS-B19 is equivalent to GS3, and HBE-B39 is equivalent to MagicWatch.
Anyhow, other than the model number, we don’t actually know anything about the upcoming watch. All of the smartwatches in the lineup may have an AMOLED display and support for Always-on display, as indicated by the model number’s AOD. We are still unsure. To learn more about the upcoming smartwatches, let’s wait a little longer. It can be a premium outdoor smartwatch designed for a specific user. On the other hand, it might be a brand-new smart band. Yes, conceivably, but not definitely. There are many things we can assume, but we don’t know which ones will be true!
So that wraps up our post on the forthcoming Huawei smartwatch. What do you think about it? Will it be an altogether different smartwatch from the existing lineup or just a normal one? Do let us know your words by dropping a comment down below. Thanks a lot for reading the post till the end.

OPPO is rumored to be working on a new foldable Android flagship, the “Find N3,” which is expected to be even more powerful than its predecessor. Furthermore, the smartphone is reported to have a significant camera upgrade. The device is likely to resemble the Find X6 Pro, with the same specs as some of the top-end devices in its category.
OPPO’s latest device, the Find N2 foldable phablet, boasts high-end mobile camera features such as a 50MP main camera, a 32MP telephoto lens, in-house MariSilicon X NPU, and Hasselblad branding. However, the rumored Find N3 is said to surpass the 32MP telephoto shooter of the Find N2 with a massive upgrade.
In 2023, some foldable devices, including the Find N3, the Huawei Mate X3, and a mysterious third device, are expected to join the periscope zoom lens trend along with top-end iPhones. he periscope lens, which allows for a longer optical zoom, is a game-changer for smartphone photography. With the help of a folded lens design, the periscope camera can fit a longer zoom into a smaller space, resulting in a much higher zoom without digital cropping.
The Find N3, reportedly with the model number “PHN110”, is expected to maintain its camera upgrade in a similar bump to the Huawei Mate X3. Additionally, the Find X6 Pro is also rumored to have a new round main camera housing with its own periscope lens, leading to speculations that the Find N3 and Find X6 Pro may share this feature, as was the case with the X5 Pro and N2. The Find N2 features a Qualcomm SM8475 Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor, with the Adreno 730 GPU. The size of the display is 7.1 inches Foldable LTPO AMOLED while the screen resolution is 1792 x 1920 pixels. One thing is for sure – the Oppo Find N3 will launch with significantly higher specifications in the future, but all we have right now are leaks and rumors to fall back on.

Sonos, the company known for making premium speakers and soundbars, is gearing up to launch a new generation of smart speakers, which are expected to go official in the coming months.
According to the report from The Verge, the two upcoming smart speakers, named Sonos Era 300 and Sonos Era 100 will get launched in the coming months, but the exact launch date is yet known.
Sonos One Gen 2
The speakers were previously leaked under the codename Optimo and are expected to rival Apple HomePod and other similar smart speakers from brands like Google and Amazon.
The report adds that both speakers will come with a completely new design compared to the current products from Sonos. It is also said that the Era 300 will come with support for Spatial Audio and Dolby Atmos.
A few months ago, it was reported that Sonos plans to revamp its lineup of products with the launch of several new speakers under a new series. The premium offering in the new lineup, Era 300, which has the codename Optimo 2, will be a multidirectional speaker. It will feature a completely rearchitected acoustic design and will offer the richest fidelity of any single speaker that Sonos has ever released.
The speaker is also expected to come with a USB-C port, Wi-Fi 6 connectivity support, and Bluetooth playback. All speakers in the Era lineup will support automatic tuning and sound optimization. Google has announced its new conversations artificial intelligence (AI) technology called Bard, which the company says will start rolling out in the coming weeks, without specifying a date.
Bard, which will directly compete with ChatGPT created by OpenAI, is powered by Google’s large language model called Language Model for Dialogue Applications (LaMDA).
Google has revealed that it will open up this new technology to “trusted testers” before making it available for a wider range of audience or before the public release.
Making the announcement, Sundar Pichai, CEO of Google, said: “Soon, you’ll see AI-powered features in Search that distill complex information and multiple perspectives into easy-to-digest formats, so you can quickly understand the big picture and learn more from the web: whether that’s seeking out additional perspectives, like blogs from people who play both piano and guitar, or going deeper on a related topic, like steps to get started as a beginner.”
The development comes after an all-hands meeting was organized at Google where employees raised concerns about the company’s competitive edge in the Artificial Intelligence technology space because of the sudden rise in popularity of ChatGPT. As per the reports, Google’s AI chief, Jeff Dean, responded by saying that the company can suffer reputation risk in providing wrong information, and that’s why it is taking slow and cautious steps before rolling out more AI-based features.
As of now, Google has not revealed more details about Bard and what the technology will actually be capable of, apart from giving a couple of examples. However, we expect to get more information in the upcoming “Google Presents” event, which is scheduled to take place on 8th February in Paris.
Apple has been rumored to be working on new iPad and MacBook models featuring an OLED display, but it hasn’t materialized so far. But now, it seems that the Cupertino-based tech giant is finally inching closer to launching devices having OLED panels.
According to the latest report coming from ETNews, Samsung and LG, which supply display panels to Apple, have started preparing their factories for the mass production of the first iPads with OLED displays.
Apple iPad
The report further adds that the screen will be a hybrid one as it uses a combination of flexible and rigid OLED technologies. Earlier, it was reported that iPad Pro models would have “two-stack” OLED displays with two red, green, and blue emission layers for increased brightness.
The screen is also expected to come with support for ProMotion for up to a 120Hz refresh rate. OLED panels have self-emitting pixels and do not require backlighting, allowing for a higher contrast ratio, greater color accuracy, and lower power consumption.
Currently, Apple is using OLED displays for the Apple Watch and the iPhone models, but the company is yet to adopt them for larger screen devices like tablets and laptops.
Some time back, Ross Young revealed that Apple is planning to launch 13-inch MacBook Air, 11.1-inch iPad Pro, and 13-inch iPad Pro with OLED panels in 2024. Meanwhile, there are rumors of the Apple iPhone Ultra featuring a microLED display when it goes official next year.
Indian smartwatch manufacturer Fire-Boltt has been on a release spree in recent times.
