Redmi Pad SE 8.7 4G visits IMDA website, confirming the previous leaks

A couple days ago we shared with you that Xiaomi works on a new tablet, Redmi Pad SE 8.7 4G. Our recent findings from our database revealed the model number and marketing name of the Xiaomi’s upcoming tablet. Now, the tablet we discovered in our database has received IMDA certification, further solidifying the fact that the tablet will indeed be launched. Expect the launch of Redmi Pad SE 8.7 very soon.

Previously, we shared that Xiaomi is working on a tablet named Redmi Pad SE 8.7 4G. This suggests a new connectivity option compared to the earlier Redmi Pad SE. The new one will support mobile data connectivity. The previously introduced Redmi Pad SE featured an 11-inch screen, whereas the upcoming tablet will have an 8.7-inch display.

A new device with the model number 24076RP19G surfaced on IMDA’s website. This matches the model number we shared in our earlier Redmi Pad SE 8.7 leak. Although the IMDA certification doesn’t include the marketing name, we already know which device this model number belongs to.

Redmi Pad SE 8.7 has different model numbers for the global and India variants. The Chinese variant hasn’t surfaced yet, so it’s uncertain if Xiaomi will launch this device in China or not. We expect Xiaomi to expecte introduce an affordable compact tablet soon, likely in July 2024.

OPPO Find X7 Ultra is the new battery champ, DxOMark places it in 1st place

OPPO Find X7 Ultra has became the 1st at DxOMark’s global battery test ranking! While the OPPO Find X7 Ultra excels in the camera department, it’s notable for its slightly thick design at 9.5mm. This thickness is due to its large camera sensors and a 5000 mAh battery capacity.

According to DxOMark’s tests, the OPPO Find X7 Ultra shows excellent autonomy in indoor usage, particularly when watching videos, making calls, and playing games. The Find X7 Ultra’s battery suffers under outdoor performance, particularly for taking photos, making calls, and using social media apps.

OPPO Find X7 Ultra achieved completely full battery capacity in 50 minutes with 100W wired charging. The 50W wireless charger took 2 hours and 20 minutes to fully charge the phone. According to DxOMark, a 5-minute charge provides up to 10 hours of autonomy. The autonomy covers indoor usage, on-the-go scenarios, and calibrated use cases, actually representing a mixed usage scenario. The fact that a 5-minute charge can deliver 10 hours of battery life is incredibly impressive.

The phone reaches 98% battery capacity in 30 minutes and 80% capacity in 20 minutes. Considering that full capacity is not always necessary and 80% capacity suffices for many users for some quick battery boosts, achieving 80% in just 20 minutes is a remarkable performance. The phone fully charges in 32 minutes. Note that these results are from the wired charging tests.

In wireless charging, the phone reaches 43% in 30 minutes and 80% capacity in 1 hour and 12 minutes. A full charge is achieved in 2 hours and 22 minutes.

You can find DxOMark’s detailed battery test results for the OPPO Find X7 Ultra on DxOMark’s official website via the provided link.

Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Flip 6 launch date confirmed

Two leaks earlier today shed light on the entire specs of the upcoming Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Z Flip 6. In a new leak, we now have details on when these products will be launched as well.

Reliable tipster Evan Blass shared a GIF of the upcoming Samsung’s Unpacked banner at X (formerly Twitter). The banner, possibly from the Samsung Korea site, shows that the next Samsung Galaxy Unpacked even shared GIFt will take place on July 10, 2024, starting at 10 PM Korea time (6 AM Pacific and 9 AM Eastern).

In the GIF, we can also see two shadows being projected from the rotating box on the right. One shadow forms the symbol for Galaxy AI that Galaxy AI will remain a significant focus in the new releases. The other shadow resembles the Eiffel Tower, adding weight to earlier rumors that the event will be held in Paris.

Other rumors also suggest that Samsung might hold its summer Unpacked events earlier this year, possibly to get its products out before the Olympics in Paris starting July 26.

Apart from the foldable, other possible announcements at the event include new Galaxy Watch smartwatches including an Ultra model and Galaxy Bfds wireless earbuds. Samsung earlier this year unveiled the Galaxy Ring at its January Unpacked event, and it is possible we might see more information about this wearable device during the July event as well.

It’s important to note that this information is based on leaks and should be considered unofficial until Samsung itself confirms the date and details of the event.

Samsung usually hosts at least two Unpacked events annually. The first event typically introduces new Galaxy S series smartphones. The summer Unpacked event, like the upcoming one on July 10th, is traditionally where Samsung unveils its foldable phones and other wearable devices.

Xiaomi 14 Ultra receives HyperOS update optimizing telephoto shots and focus performance

Xiaomi’s best camera phone, Xiaomi 14 Ultra, has received a new HyperOS update. Following its partnership with Leica, Xiaomi has been excelling in the camera department, although it’s not yet perfect. While Xiaomi offers the best hardware, they do their best to improve the camera software over time.

The new HyperOS update for the Xiaomi 14 Ultra comes with the build number OS.1.0.12.0.UNACNXM. Note that this camera update is currently available only in China. If you live outside of China, it might take some time for your phone to receive the update. According to Xiaomi’s changelog, this 246 MB update addresses various camera issues. The full package is 6.8 GB in size.

The update optimizes results when shooting with the telephoto lens. Additionally, it reduces noise in photos taken with the telephoto camera and enhances focus performance during photo capture. Focusing with telephoto cameras can sometimes be challenging, so it’s great to see Xiaomi addressing this issue.

Getty and Picsart Team Up for “Commercially Safe” AI Image Generation

Getty Images and Picsart, a popular photo editing platform, have joined forces to create a novel AI image generator. This unique tool aims to address copyright concerns plaguing current AI image generation models.

The training data will comprise exclusively of licensed stock images

The key difference lies in the training data. Unlike other models that might use a mix of sources, the Picsart and Getty generator will be trained exclusively on licensed stock images from Getty Images. This ensures all the content used to create the AI model is authorized for commercial use. The companies are touting this approach as a “responsible, commercially-safe” alternative. Images generated by this model will come with full commercial rights, allowing users to freely incorporate them into their projects without copyright worries.

Similar to Adobe’s recent attempt with their Firefly AI model, the Picsart and Getty tool will be a paid service accessible only to Picsart’s subscribing users. This approach avoids the controversy surrounding Adobe’s plan to potentially use user-generated content for training their AI model.

Getty seems committed to ethical practices. They’ve assured users that photographers whose work contributes to the training data will be “compensated creators included in the dataset on an annual basis.”

While a specific launch date remains unknown, the Picsart and Getty Images AI image generator is expected to be released later this year. It will be accessible through Picsart’s API services, allowing integration with various creative workflows.

Honor Magic V Flip vs Huawei Pocket 2: Which is the best clamshell foldable?

Although not new to the foldable market, Honor has just launched its first clamshell folding phone, the Magic V Flip. Meanwhile, its former parent company Huawei has already released three flip phones, the latest being the Huawei Pocket 2. Both phones bring a stylish touch to the foldable trend, but which one is better? Let’s dive into a head-to-head comparison.

1. Design and Display

Both the phones come in a now-familiar clamshell design with a large, foldable main display. The Honor Magic V Flip features a 6.8-inch foldable LTPO OLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate, HDR and Dolby Vision support, and a peak brightness of 3000 nits.

The Huawei Pocket 2, on the other hand, has a slightly larger 6.94-inch LTPO OLED screen with the same 120Hz refresh rate but a lower peak brightness of 2200 nits. However, both displays are bright enough to ensure good outdoor visibility.

Honor Magic V Flip vs Huawei Pocket 2
Honor Magic V Flip

The cover screens, however, set these phones apart. The Honor Magic V Flip has a large 4-inch edge-to-edge screen with features carried over from the main screen, including a 120Hz LTPO refresh rate, Dolby Vision, and HDR certification.

In contrast, the Huawei Pocket 2 has a small 1.15-inch cover screen below the camera module. While it allows you to check notifications, you need to flip open the phone for things such as to reply to messages. The Magic V Flip’s cover screen is large enough to handle most tasks without opening the phone.

When folded, both phones are incredibly thin, with the Honor Magic V Flip having a slight edge at 14.9mm compared to the Huawei Pocket 2’s 15.3mm. The Magic V Flip is also lighter, weighing 193g compared to the Pocket 2’s 199g. Both phones use an aluminum frame and offer a dual SIM slot, but neither has expandable storage.

2. Performance and Battery

For performance, the Honor Magic V Flip features the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset, an older but still high-end processor. Huawei has not officially disclosed the processor details for the Pocket 2, but it is believed to use the Kirin 9000S chip, similar to the one in the Mate 60 Pro.

Both devices offer memory options of 12GB and 16GB RAM, and up to 1TB of storage. The Honor Magic V Flip has a slightly larger 4800mAh battery compared to the Pocket 2’s 4520mAh battery.

They support 66W fast wired charging. However, the Pocket 2 offers additional features such as 40W wireless charging and 5W reverse wireless charging, which are not available on the Honor Magic V Flip.

3. Cameras

The camera department is often a key differentiator in smartphones, and these foldable phones are no exception. The Huawei Pocket 2 features a quad rear camera system with a 50MP main sensor, an 8MP telephoto lens, a 12MP ultrawide lens, and a 2MP spectral lens. The main and telephoto lenses have OIS support, delivering good-quality photos in most lighting conditions.

In contrast, the Honor Magic V Flip has just two rear cameras: a 50MP main camera with OIS and a 12MP ultrawide lens. Front-facing cameras are equally important for selfies and video calls. The Huawei Pocket 2 has a 10.7MP punch-hole selfie camera, while the Honor Magic V Flip has a higher resolution 50MP wide-angle lens.

4. Software

One of the biggest differences between the two phones is their operating systems. The Huawei Pocket 2 runs on Huawei’s HarmonyOS, an alternative operating system developed in-house.

While HarmonyOS offers a smooth and user-friendly experience, it still lacks native access to popular Google apps and services like the Play Store, YouTube, and Gmail. This can be a deal-breaker for users who rely heavily on these services.

The Honor Magic V Flip, on the other hand, runs on Android 14-based MagicOS 8 with Google Mobile Services (GMS) pre-installed. So users have full access to the Google Play Store and all the apps and services they’re familiar with. It’s an advantage for Honor, especially in markets outside of China where Google services are widely used.

5. Price and Availability

The Honor Magic V Flip undercuts the Huawei Pocket 2 in terms of price. It starts at CNY 4,999 (~$689) for the base 8GB + 256GB variant, whereas the Huawei Pocket 2 starts at CNY 7,499 (~$1,044) for the base 256GB model. Here’s a detailed breakdown of the pricing:

  • Honor Magic V Flip:
    • 8GB + 256GB: CNY 4,999 (~$689)
    • 12GB + 512GB: CNY 5,499 (~$758)
    • 12GB + 1TB: CNY 5,999 (~$827)
    • 16GB + 1TB (Limited Edition): CNY 6,999 (~$965)
  • Huawei Pocket 2:
    • 12GB + 256GB: 7,499 Yuan (~ $1,044)
    • 12GB + 512GB: 7,999 Yuan (~ $1,113)
    • 12GB + 1TB: 8,999 Yuan (~ $1,252)

Note that both these devices are currently only available in China.

6. Conclusion

The Honor Magic V Flip is a compelling competitor to the Huawei Pocket 2, particularly when considering the significant price difference.

It offers a larger cover display, possibly better performance with the Snapdragon processor, a high-resolution selfie camera, and a slightly larger battery. However, the Huawei Pocket 2 retains some advantages with its telephoto lens and wireless charging capabilities.

Additionally, users who prefer the Android ecosystem will find the Honor Magic V Flip more appealing, while those who have experience with HarmonyOS or prioritize features like wireless charging might lean towards the Huawei Pocket 2. Ultimately, the choice between these two phones depends on individual priorities and budget.

Samsung Galaxy Tab S10 series makes new appearance on One UI server

Samsung is set to unveil Galaxy Tab S10 series soon! While the exact launch date is currently unknown, we expect Tab S10 series to be introduced in 2025. Earlier rumors suggested that the Galaxy Tab S10 Plus will feature MediaTek Dimensity 9300 chipset. Now, the Tab S10 series has appeared on Samsung’s OTA server, revealing that One UI testing has already begun.

Android Headlines team spotted Galaxy Tab S10 Plus and Tab S10 Ultra on Samsung’s OTA server. Galaxy Tab S10 Plus has the model number of SM-X828x, while Tab S10 Ultra is appeared as SM-X926x. The “x” in the model number represents the region code.

Galaxy Tab S10 Plus appeared on Samsung’s OTA server with the build number (X828USQUAXF5/X828UOYNOAXF5/X828USQUOAXF5). The Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra made its first appearance with the build number (X926BXXUOAXE6/X926BOXMOAXE6/X926BXXUOAXE6). These build numbers actually confirm the devices’ model numbers as SM-X926B and SM-X828U. Note that the “U” is for the US variant, while the “B” indicates that the model will be available globally.

They also managed to find Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra’s SM-X926C and SM-X926N model numbers, which confirms the device’s availability in China and Korea. Notably, there is no One UI build for the regular Galaxy Tab S10 yet. This is likely because the Tab S10 series is slated for a 2025 release. We anticipate that Galaxy Tab S10 series will debut alongside the Galaxy S25 series in Q1 2025.

Dimension-wise, the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 will measure 153.5mm x 68.1 x 12.1mm when folded and 153.5mm x 132.6mm x 5.6mm when unfolded. Despite having a boxier design as seen in the leaked renders, the device will be thinner than its predecessor. Notably, the weight on the upcoming offering has been trimmed too. It will measure 239g compared to 253g on the Z Fold 5.

The spec sheet reveals that the Galaxy Z Fold 6 will have 7.6-inch internal and 6.3-inch external Dynamic AMOLED 2x displays with 120Hz refresh rate. The former will bear a resolution of 2160 x 1856 pixels whereas the latter will feature 2376 x 968 pixels. The outer screen will have a 10MP selfie snapper inside the punch-hole cutout while the interior display will feature a 4MP sensor.

Under the hood, the spec sheet does not mention the name of the processor powering the device. But it has a peak CPU speed of 3.39GHz. This suggests that the foldable phone will be powered by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC. It is listed with 12GB RAM and 512GB storage. The Z Fold 6 will be backed by a 4,400mAh battery unit. The charging speed is expected to remain the same at 25W.

On the optics front, the leak states that the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 will sport a 50MP f/1.8 main OIS sensor with 8K video recording, a 12MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 10MP telephoto unit with 3x zoom. Connectivity options on the device will include USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-C port, WiFi-6, Bluetooth 5.3, NFC, UWB, and 5G.

The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 is rumoured to start at $1,899 for the base configuration in the US. The South Korean brand has already confirmed that the next-generation foldable will come with Galaxy AI features.

China’s Baidu dominates AI market: ERNIE Bot and Wenxin Yige reign supreme in IDC report

A new report from the International Data Corporation (IDC) has placed tech giant Baidu at the forefront of the AI industry in China. Baidu’s generative AI products, ERNIE Bot, and Wenxin Yige, have shown exceptional performance across all seven evaluated dimensions, making Baidu the only company to achieve this milestone.

The IDC’s 2024 Large Model Evaluation Report highlights that Baidu has excelled in areas such as multimodality, security, and text style transfer. ERNIE, in particular, demonstrated outstanding capabilities in systematic thinking, logical thinking, and abstract thinking. Additionally, Baidu was recognized as a leading vendor in all six detailed dimensions of coding. Baidu Comate, an AI coding assistant powered by ERNIE, has seen a significant adoption rate, contributing to 27% of newly generated code within Baidu.

Launched in October 2023, ERNIE 4.0 marked a significant upgrade, enhancing its performance in understanding, generation, reasoning, and memory. Today, ERNIE Bot boasts 200 million users and handles an impressive 200 million daily queries.

Broad Industry Impact

The report evaluated the performance of large models from 11 vendors, including Baidu, OpenAI, Alibaba, and SenseTime. Baidu stood out by showcasing advantages in question-answer understanding, reasoning, creative expression, mathematics, and coding. Its Wenxin large model also performed exceptionally well in office tasks, life assistant tasks, and various industry applications such as energy, finance, media, healthcare, and manufacturing.

Baidu’s Wenxin Large Model 4.0 has made a significant impact since its release, supported by Baidu Smart Cloud’s Qianfan large model platform, which offers enterprise-level development and service operations. The availability of ERNIE Speed and ERNIE Lite models for free since May 2024 has further boosted its adoption. Major users and partners include prominent companies like State Grid, SPD Bank, China Aerospace, Geely, and Samsung.

IDC’s Predictions

Looking ahead, IDC anticipates a wave of updates and upgrades in the Chinese large model market starting in Q2 2024. This period, referred to as the “Hundred Model Battle,” is expected to intensify competition among AI vendors. IDC recommends that technology suppliers focus on optimizing generation quality, improving generation speed, reducing usage costs, and accelerating the application and popularization of large model technology.

Baidu’s achievements with ERNIE Bot and Wenxin Yige highlight the company’s leading position in the AI industry. As the market evolves, Baidu’s continued innovation and widespread adoption of its AI technologies will likely set the pace for future developments in the sector.

Oppo F27 Pro+ hands-on review: Unmatched durability in its price segment

Earlier this year, Oppo unveiled the Oppo F25 Pro 5G in India, and now the brand is back with a new F-series phone, the Oppo F27 Pro+ 5G. As a tech enthusiast always on the lookout for innovative gadgets, I was eager to get my hands on the F27 Pro+, especially given its bold claim of being the first all-around waterproof phone.

1. Design and Build

Oppo F27 Pro+ 5G

The Oppo F27 Pro+ 5G comes in Dusk Pink and Midnight Navy color options. In this post, you can see the latter, which according to the brand captures the serene tones of the night sky. In terms of appearance, it looks quite appealing with a beautifully designed vegan leather back and a curved-edge display on the front. In addition, the rear panel has a siloxane coating for stain resistance. The device is slim at 7.58mm and weighs only 177 grams.

The real star of the show, however, is the durability of the F27 Pro+. It is IP68 certified, safeguarding against dust and water immersion up to 1.5 meters for 30 minutes. Additionally, the IP66 and IP69 certifications ensure protection against high-pressure, high-temperature water jets from any direction. This makes it truly “monsoon-ready” and capable of withstanding various harsh conditions. In addition, the display of the phone is usable with wet fingers. Speaking of the screen, it is protected by a layer of Gorilla Glass 2.

According to Oppo, the F27 Pro+ has received the Swiss SGS Premium Performance 5 Stars Drop Resistance Certification, demonstrating its ability to endure falls from up to 1.8 meters. The SGS testing included multiple angle drop tests, drop resistance tests with a limit height, and drop resistance tests with a limit number of times. Furthermore, the phone has passed the MIL-STD 810H military-grade shock resistance test, which encompasses multi-angle drop tests, high-intensity impact tests, and other demanding durability assessments.

While individual experiences may vary due to factors like device ageing and usage habits, these certifications and test results underscore the Oppo F27 Pro+’s resilience and ability to withstand real-world drops and impacts.

I took it out in a torrential downpour, and it performed flawlessly. I also submerged the phone for around 20 minutes, just for testing, and it worked fine without any hiccups. A word of caution: if your F27 Pro+ gets wet or submerged in water, make sure to completely dry it before charging it.

The retail package of the device includes: the Oppo F27 Pro+ handset, an 80W charger, a USB-C to USB-A cable, a SIM ejector tool, a Quick Guide, a Safety Guide, and a protective case.

2. Display

Oppo F27 Pro+ 5G

The 6.7-inch AMOLED panel of the F27 Pro+ is vibrant and sharp, perfect for binge-watching my favorite shows. The screen supports up to a 120Hz refresh rate and up to 950 nits of brightness, which makes it usable in direct sunlight. Without dual speakers for stereo output, the bottom-firing speaker comes with ultra-volume mode, supposedly increasing the sound output by 300 percent. In the real world, it offers an output similar to that of dual speakers. However, since there is only one speaker, it sounds a bit screeching when the volume is set to the highest setting. ‘

3. Performance

Performance-ise, the F27 Pro+ offers a Dimensity 7050 chipset, LPDDR4x RAM, and UFS 3.1 storage. Apps open quickly, multitasking is seamless, and it’s sufficient for playing casual games. The ColorOS 14.1-layered Android 14 offers a smooth user experience without any lag or slowdown in my usage. However, it still comes with many preinstalled apps, which some users may not like. It is confirmed to receive two Android OS upgrades and three years of security updates. There is no expandable storage slot on the device.

The 5,000mAh battery easily lasts me a full day of normal usage, and the 67W fast charging is fast enough. I can go from 0 to 100% in around 50 to 55 minutes. The following images show the F27 Pro+’s performance on CPU Throttle, AnTuTu, and Geekbench.

4. Cameras

Oppo F27 Pro+ 5G

The Oppo F27 Pro+ gets the flagship-grade 64-megapixel OmniVision OV64B main sensor, which captures detailed photos with vibrant colors, and the portrait mode produces impressive results. However, there is no support for optical image stabilization for the main camera. The AI features, like the portrait retouching and AI eraser, are surprisingly useful. I was able to remove some unwanted photobombers from my vacation pics with ease. The main snapper is joined by a 2-megapixel camera, and on the front, it has an 8-megapixel camera for selfies. Shown below are some camera samples.

5. Oppo F27 Pro+ 5G price in India

Oppo F27 Pro+ 5G

The Oppo F27 Pro+ 5G has arrived in India in two options:

  • 8GB+128GB: Rs 27,999 (~$335)
  • 8GB+256GB: Rs 29,999 (~$360)
  • Colors: Dusk Pink and Midnight Blue

Oppo is now receiving preorders for the F27 Pro+ via Amazon, Flipkart, and the Oppo India website. The first sale of the device will be carried out on June 20. When it comes to offers, buyers will get 6 months of accidental and liquid damage protection worth Rs 1199, no-cost EMI for up to 6 months, and consumer loans for up to 9 months without a down payment. Customers can also benefit from an exchange bonus of Rs 1000 and an additional Rs 1000 loyalty bonus for existing OPPO customers. Lastly, there is 10% instant cashback on HDFC, SBI, and ICICI Bank cards.

6. Final thoughts

Oppo F27 Pro+ 5G

Historically, Oppo’s F series has been popular for its “Selfie Expert” phones, emphasizing front-facing camera features to cater to selfie enthusiasts. This trend has evolved over time, with recent F series models expanding their focus to include other aspects like overall performance, display quality, and fast charging. For photography enthusiasts, Oppo seems to be focusing on the Reno series of smartphones.

The Oppo F27 Pro+, as detailed in this post, exemplifies this shift. While it is packed with solid specs, it also emphasizes durability, a unique feature not typically associated with the F series. This suggests a new direction for the F series, possibly catering to users who prioritize a rugged and long-lasting smartphone alongside other features. Nevertheless, it offers the best durability features compared to any other phone in its price segment. I would recommend the F27 Pro+ to anyone looking for a durable midrange phone with a stylish design and decent specs.

Disclaimer: All of the opinions in this Oppo F27 Pro+ 6 5G hands-on review are mine and based on my own experiences. There has been no editorial input from Oppo.

Galaxy Z Fold 6 Ultra will be sold in more countries

Samsung is preparing to launch the Galaxy Z Fold 6 Ultra in several regions. Since the beginning of the year, Samsung has been rumored to be adding a mysterious “Ultra” model to its Galaxy Z Fold lineup. While rumors have been circulating about this foldable smartphone, Android Headlines has come across some remarkable information. The new Z Fold 6 Ultra was rumored to be limited to Korea and was not expected to be introduced in other regions. However, the AH team has officially confirmed that the Z Fold 6 Ultra will be introduced in China.

Galaxy Z Fold 6 Ultra won’t only be sold in Korea

Galaxy Z Fold 6 and 6 Ultra were confirmed to have internal model numbers Q6 and Q6A. Also, it was stated that the Galaxy Z Fold 6 Ultra would come with the model number SM-F958N, and users were given sad news. The Z Fold 6 Ultra was first speculated to be a Korea-only model. Now everything has changed with the emergence of the new Z Fold 6 Ultra with the model number SM-W9025. So why is this model number so unique?

Samsung is selling its Z Fold models in the global market under a different name in China. The Galaxy Z Fold5 and Z Flip 5 were sold as the Galaxy W24 and W24 Flip. The South Korean company has registered the model number SM-W9025, which means that the Z Fold 6 Ultra will be sold in China. Of course, this foldable device will probably be introduced in China not as “Z Fold 6 Ultra” and possibly as “Galaxy W25 Ultra”.

Market naming is not yet certain and has not been confirmed by Samsung. The only thing confirmed here is that the Z Fold 6 Ultra will not be limited to Korea. Maybe Samsung will also sell the Z Fold 6 Ultra in the global market with limited stocks, but it’s too early to tell. It is not strange that the brand is introducing this device in 2 countries due to costs, it is completely normal. The new Z Fold6 is rumored to be much more expensive than the previous Z Fold 5. Therefore, we expect the Z Fold 6 Ultra to be unveiled in only 2 countries. The new “Ultra” foldable device is scheduled to be introduced in 2025 along with the Galaxy Tab S10 and S25 series.
