Belkin has released a new power bank in China that adds a few practical hardware features to the standard portable battery. The Belkin BoostCharge Pro Power Bank 10K with Motion Sensing Light is currently listed on JD.com for 329 yuan ($49).

As the name suggests, it has a 10,000mAh battery capacity. For charging, the device relies entirely on USB-C. It includes a built-in braided USB-C cable that tucks into the side of the casing for storage, plus one additional USB-C port. Both the cable and the port support up to 45W of output.

The device supports standard USB Power Delivery (PD) and Programmable Power Supply (PPS) protocols. If you plug in two devices at the same time, the power bank automatically splits the power, providing 30W to the primary device and 15W to the secondary one.

The power bank includes a pop-out LED light. It has a built-in motion sensor and touch controls for adjusting the brightness. Belkin has expanded its lineup of desktop accessories with a new 14-in-1 Thunderbolt 5 Dock, officially launched in China for 2,299 yuan ($338). The dock is built around Intel’s latest Thunderbolt standard, offering significant bandwidth upgrades, high-wattage power delivery, and enough display outputs to support complex multi-monitor workstations.

The dock connects to a host computer through a primary Thunderbolt 5 upstream port. The setup is straightforward. A small USB-C transmitter plugs into your laptop or tablet, while a compact HDMI receiver connects to the display. Instead of joining a network or using AirPlay or Google Cast, the two devices talk directly over a dedicated 5GHz wireless link.

This approach avoids many of the usual problems—crowded office Wi-Fi, blocked networks, or compatibility issues between platforms. There’s no app to install and no software to configure. Once the receiver is powered—either through a USB-A port on the display or an external adapter—the connection is ready.

Video output tops out at 1080p at 60Hz. Latency is rated at under 80 milliseconds, which should be fine for presentations, videos, and general screen mirroring. This isn’t aimed at gamers or creatives chasing ultra-low lag, but it’s clearly built for meeting rooms and classrooms.

Compatibility is one of ConnectAir’s stronger points. Any USB-C device that supports DisplayPort Alt Mode should work, including Windows laptops, MacBooks, Chromebooks, and newer iPads. Because it doesn’t rely on platform-specific casting standards, mixed-device environments shouldn’t be an issue.

Range is rated at up to 131 feet (around 40 meters), even through walls, though real-world performance will depend on the room. Belkin also says a single receiver can pair with up to eight transmitters, making it easier to switch presenters without swapping cables.

And on paper, the feature set is basically the same: two USB-C ports, one USB-A, and enough juice to keep a MacBook and a couple of smaller gadgets happy at the same time.

Running a single USB-C device lets you pull the full 70W from this GaN charger. When charging two devices simultaneously, power gets split to 45W and 25W (or 45W and 22.5W, depending on what you plug in). Fill all three ports, and it maxes out at 45W for a laptop plus 12W/12W for accessories. Nothing groundbreaking there, but it’s right in the sweet spot for everyday travel setups.

It supports universal charging protocols such as PD 3.1 and PPS for wider compatibility. The company claims it supports “all PD-enabled devices (laptops, tablets, smartphones); and supports earbuds, watches, power banks,” and can take an iPhone 16 Pro from dead to 50% in around 27 minutes, or a Galaxy S25 in about 26. Pretty typical numbers, but still reassuring if you’re always racing the battery percent.

The real win here is size. It’s tiny — just 1.65 × 1.5 × 2.13 inches — and the foldable prongs finally mean one less thing snagging in a backpack.

There’s one small catch: Belkin doesn’t include a cable in the box. For a lot of people, that’s no big deal — most of us already have more USB-C cords than devices at this point. But if you’re still relying on the single cable that came with your phone or laptop, you’ll probably want to grab an extra or two to actually use all three ports at once.

If you regularly travel with a laptop, phone, and something like earbuds or a watch, this might be the kind of accessory you stick in your bag and forget about — until the moment you’re grateful it’s there. For now, Belkin’s new 70W GaN charger looks like one of the better value picks in a very crowded field.

Belkin is set to release an official external battery clip for Apple’s upcoming Vision Pro headset. The accessory specifically addresses a problem that users who want to use the Vision Pro on the go but don’t have access to convenient storage options like pockets or backpacks face.

The Vision Pro headset is designed in a standalone configuration, featuring an external battery pack connected by a cable. To ensure user comfort and manage the device’s weight, Apple has opted for an external battery, requiring users to carry it while in use. The Belkin battery clip provides a practical solution by allowing users to attach the battery pack to their clothing.

The Vision Pro headset, a new product category for Apple, is set to arrive on February 2, with pre-orders starting shortly. In a report, Bloomberg highlighted Belkin’s development of the Apple Vision Pro battery clip. As the Vision Pro prioritizes user comfort by keeping the device weight manageable, the external battery pack introduces its own set of challenges. The clip addresses a key inconvenience associated with the bulkiness of the device, allowing users to keep their hands free for gestures and interactions with the Vision Pro while eliminating concerns about accidentally misplacing the battery.

The source quotes, “Belkin, will begin selling the clip alongside the Vision Pro when the headset debuts next month. Apple stores will stock the item, and, so far, it appears to be one of the only authorized accessories that will be available as early as launch day.”

Apple Vision Pro and Belkin Battery Clip Availability

This official accessory will be available for purchase starting from the Vision Pro’s launch date on February 2, and both Belkin and Apple will offer it. Belkin, known for its range of Apple-endorsed accessories, including iPhone screen protectors and MagSafe charging stands, has collaborated with Apple to develop this accessory.

While additional accessories for the Vision Pro are expected post-launch, Belkin’s battery clip stands out as the first official non-Apple accessory available for purchase on launch day. The pre-orders for Apple Vision Pro will start on January 19.

GaN Tech for Compact Charger:

Belkin also introduced GaN chargers for efficient, space-saving power:

• BoostCharge Pro 4-Port USB-C GaN Charger 200W: The charger features four USB-C ports, two capable of delivering up to 140 watts each, and two offering 60 watts each. The total output is capped at 200 watts. It will hit stores in March for $129.99.

• 6-in-1 Core GaN Dock: Belkin says this new 6-in-1 adapter is 50% smaller than similar docks while having HDMI (4K display), 2 USB-A ports, 2 USB-C ports (one with 96W power delivery), and Gigabit Ethernet. iPhone Tracking Stand:

Finally, Belkin is announcing Auto Tracking Stand Pro which is world’s first accessory to make use of  Apple’s DockKit framework introduced in iOS 17 for face and object tracking. This means your iPhone stays in frame during video calls, FaceTime, and other apps, eliminating the need for constant adjustments. It works in both orientations and with front and rear cameras, making it useful for a variety of applications.

The stand boasts a built-in battery for up to 5 hours of on-the-go use and charges your iPhone via MagSafe at 15W when plugged in. It is expected to launch soon with a price tag of $179.99.

Belkin has announced the release of the first official MagSafe Car Charging Mount with 15W charging. The new Belkin accessory is designed for in-vehicle use and is called the Boost Charge Pro Wireless Car Charger with MagSafe. It is the first magnetic charging solution for vehicles that delivers 15W charging. It can be used to charge MagSafe-enabled iPhones.

The Belkin Boost Charge Pro Wireless Car Charger has a design that snugly attaches to the vent inside a car. It can be placed in either landscape or portrait mode and connects via a USB-C cable and a CLA charger which can be plugged into the car’s lighter socket.
The Belkin Boost Charge Pro with MagSafe is priced at $100 and is exclusively available from the Apple Online Store. Its official launch is on November 14 but it can be pre-ordered before that date.

There are a few other products that have been added to the Apple online store. There are two new Joby-branded MagSafe mounts priced at $70 and $220 respectively. The first is the GripTight GorillaPod mount while the second is the MagSafe Vlogging Kit. The Joby MagSafe Vlogging Kit comes with a stand, a microphone, and LED lighting.

As per the Boost Charge Pro with MagSafe, its $100 price tag may seem on the high side, as there are several similar accessories costing as low as $19. The coming days will determine the degree of acceptance of the product in the market.

It’s nearly been a month since Apple announced its iPhone 14 series. Now American Belkin is widely known for smartphone and PC accessories has launched its new range of accessories for the iPhone 14 lineup. The new products include a screen protector, charger, MagSafe power bank, and wireless charger. 

Beginning with the screen protector, Belkin is offering two tempered glasses that are compatible with iPhone 14, iPhone 13 and 13 Pro. The screen protectors offer great response and clarity. It features an anti-microbial agent and is claimed to offer robust protection. 

Next up is the Belkin Boost Charge Pro Dual USB-C charger. It is a GaN-certified wall charger with PPS that offers a charging speed of up to 65W. It comes with two USB-C ports that can be used to charge MacBook Pro or Air or rapidly charge two smartphones at once. The brick offers 65W full fast charge when a single port is used and up to 45W from the top port and 20W from the bottom port while using to charge two devices. 

Belkin’s wireless power bank is also called Boost Charge Magnetic. It provides a convenient way of keeping their iPhone’s battery fuelled by just sticking the magnetic brick on the back panel of the smartphone. The power bank has a 2,500mAh battery cell. It has a slim and portable design along with LED indicators that alerts the user when the charger needs to be refuelled. There is also a USB-C port that delivers power at up to 10W to compatible devices. 

Lastly, the Belkin Boost Charge Magnetic Wireless Charger stand is a charger stand where users can stick their iPhone magnetically and allow it to charge. It is MagSafe compatible and offers 7.5W charging speed. Apart from charging, the device also doubles up as a stand allowing users to use their smartphone in portrait or landscape mode. 

The two-pack screen protector is priced at Rs 1,999 and is available for purchase from Amazon. The Belkin Boost Charge Magnetic and Boost Charge Magnetic Wireless Charger stand are priced at Rs 4,499 and available for purchase from Amazon. The Belkin Boost Charge Pro Dual USB-C charger costs Rs 5,999 and can be purchased from Flipkart.

Smartphone accessories maker Belkin has unveiled a set of magnetic accessories for the iPhone 12. What could arguably be seen as the pick of the pack is a phone mount with face tracking capability. When the mount is interfaced with its accompanying Belkin app, it can recognize a user’s face and activate control of the device to follow the user’s movement while shooting pictures or videos.

Belkin also unveiled a magnetic fitness phone mount, a 2,500mAh power bank that can attach to the back of a phone magnetically, and a wireless charging pad that can also serve as a power bank. Belkin has also released a portable charging pad, already available for $30, and a 7.5W wireless charging stand that will go for $35.

Some of the exciting devices are already on sale at affordable prices while others will be available shortly. The iPhone 12 phone mount with a face tracking feature will be available at $65 when it comes out and can rotate a full 360 degrees while tracking the face. This makes it possible for the user to capture pictures in either landscape or portrait orientation from all angles. It is not clear the maximum distance that can be captured via face tracking using the iPhone 12 phone mount, and the feature can only be used with Belkin’s app. Therefore, third-party apps will not have face-tracking support.

However, we can use the mount with MagSafe cases, and it links to most of the social media platforms like Facebook and Instagram. The fitness phone mount is also capable of 360 degrees rotation and will sell for $35 when it comes out. The 2,500 mAh power bank costs $50, while the dual wireless charging pad and power bank sell for $70.

All the Belkin accessories are affordable and highly innovative and will most likely appeal to its growing customer base.

American consumer electronics manufacturer Belkin has launched an 11-in-1 USB-C docking station in China. The product carries a price tag of 759 yuan (~$117) and is presently on sale on Tmall.

Belkin is one consumer electronics manufacturer with worldwide renown for connectivity devices. The company lives up to its name with this product. The versatile docking station is designed for high-end laptops equipped with a USB-C charging port like the Huamei MateBook series. It will transform the laptop into a workstation.

Belkin 11-in-1 USB-C Docking Station comes with three video interfaces comprising of an  HDMI, a VGA, and a DP port which are compatible with most displays on the market. Among them, the HDMI and DP ports support high-definition display resolutions up to 4K. Under the Windows system, it also supports the simultaneous expansion of two video interfaces with 1080p 60Hz resolution. The device also comes with three USB ports and a 3.5mm audio jack making it possible to use two headphones at the same time on the laptop and expanding the number of ports available.

In terms of the design, the docking station uses a small bevel design, and can also double as a laptop base that slightly elevates the rear base of the laptop in order to facilitate heat dissipation.

This docking station supports up to 100W pass-through charging in which 85W is delivered to the laptop to power it while the docking station requires 15W of power to operate. There is an independent gigabit wired network port, with gigabit network cable and routing, which can form gigabit home LAN.

In response to several cases of fire outbreaks resulting from the use of its Wireless charger, Belkin has now put in motion the process of recalling its latest wireless charger, the Belkin Portable Wireless Charger + Stand Special Edition (WIZ003). This is because there are credible fears that fire outbreaks might ensue while charging your device with the wireless charger, obviously due to a manufacturing defect that may not have been discovered at the quality assurance stage of production.

The company says it found out that the wireless charger has been observed to exhibit overheating due to a yet-to-be-determined malfunction. Belkin also says that no injuries or property damage have been reported, and no other wireless chargers are affected by the recall.

The company insists that no incidents have been reported, but users who have the Portable Wireless Charger + Stand Special Edition (WIZ003) are encouraged to unplug the charger and to stop using it immediately, to prevent the risk of overheating and fire. The company is giving a full refund to the customers who bought the product. In addition, Belkin will provide its customers with explicit steps and instructions that will help customers safely and securely dispose of a faulty wireless charger.  

In the statement released by Belkin, the company said that only the WIZ003 portable wireless charger was affected by the recall and all other Belkin chargers and other products are still available for an excellent consumer experience. It is estimated that the recall only affects chargers that were sold between July 2020 and October 2020.

The Belkin wireless chargers, prior to the voluntary recall, had enjoyed patronage over a wide spectrum and were sold by Belkin directly via its website, as well as on the Apple website and retail stores. The Boost Charge Portable Wireless Charger + Stand Special Edition was sold by Apple and Belkin from July 2020 through October 2020, and it sold at $80. It features a removable 10,000mAh power bank that can be charged at the same time as an iPhone.

The American company unveiled its latest array of mobile charging solution including a smart speaker+ wireless charger at CES 2020. The products have now been announced to be on sale on Amazon and other third-party retailers.

The star of the pack is no doubt Belkin’s Soundform Elite Smart Speaker + Wireless Charger which combines wireless charging capabilities with speaker technology from Devialet. The smart speaker looks very much like a HomePod but one with the top cut off to provide a wireless charging spot for an iPhone. The speaker is also compatible with Google Assistant. It comes with a $300 price tag.

The second product is the Boost Charge 3-in-1 Wireless Charger priced at $120. The wireless charger can be deployed to charge an ‌iPhone‌, AirPods, and an Apple Watch all at once. The gadget adopts a sleek, compact design which includes an upright charging platform for the phone as well as a charging puck for the ‌Apple Watch‌. There is also a space between the ‌Apple Watch‌’s band to charge the ‌AirPods‌.

Finally, Belkin’s Dual Wireless Charging Pads are on offer for $50. The pads offer 7.5W fast charging and that can be delivered to two iPhones at once on a single pad. The pad has a dual-device design, though.

Belkin is one consumer electronics manufacturer with a worldwide renown for connectivity devices. The American company has now unveiled its latest array of mobile charging solution on the heels of CES 2018. The charging accessories, which are already listed on the company’s official website, ranges from wall chargers to power banks and wireless charging pads. They are not available for purchase and their prices are still undisclosed but the goodies are expected to be released before late spring or early summer.

The products include five wireless charging accessories and they fall under the company’s “BOOST UP” brand. Each of the chargers offers 10W of output, thus ensuring that the devices that are compatible with Qi fast charging solutions can be charged a bit faster. The wireless chargers are also touted as capable of charging a device through a 3mm case. Thus, you will not need to remove the smartphone from its protective case.

Among the products is the Boost UpBold which is an updated version of Belkin’s entry-level charging pad. There is also a new Dual Wireless Charging Pad that can be used to charge two devices at once. There is also another Dual Wireless Charging Pad that has the same features as the first model but comes with a pair of pads. Belkin also unveiled the BOOST UP Wireless Charging Stand which allows more usage flexibility as it can charge a compatible device in either a horizontal or verticle orientation. The charging stand is also tipped as having built-in safety mechanisms and is manufactured using premium materials.

Belkin’s charging solutions also include a wireless car mount which keeps you covered while on the go. The wireless car mount also has an additional 1Amp standard USB port which provides users with a second option to charge their Android devices that don’t have wireless charging support. Yet another product is a new portable power bank dubbed  Pocket Power USB-C 10K. The gadget packs a 10,000mAh battery and has support for Qualcomm’s Quick Charge 3.0 standard via an available USB Type-C port and a standard USB port. It has a compact design which makes it easy to be carried around and it is encased in a non-scratch material to prevent damage. Called the Pocket Power USB-C 10K. Finally, Belkin also announced two new Fast Charging wall chargers. Both are designed to be plugged into a wall outlet in order to manage power delivery from the socket to a device through a USB Type-C port. One has a rating of 27W with a single Type-C port while the second one is a dual-port 39W rated charger.

There is no information yet on when the products will be available to buy or their likely prices but you can keep a tab on the company from their website.
