Oppo is still rolling out ColorOS 7 update to the eligible devices worldwide. This version of the company’s mobile software was first announced in November of 2019. The Chinese smartphone maker blames the COVID-19 pandemic for the delay in rolling out the update. That said, it has now shared a new ColorOS 7 July update schedule for certain models in China on Weibo.

With over 350 million active users, ColorOS is one of the most-used Android skins in the world. It is only found on Oppo smartphones and previously Realme devices as well. ColorOS 7 is the latest offering from the company apart from ColorOS 7.1 and ColorOS 7.2, both of which are exclusive to particular handsets.

Having said that, below-listed are the Oppo smartphones that will be receiving the ColorOS 7 update in China in July.

The above-mentioned handsets are also yet to receive ColorOS 7 in global markets. In fact, the Oppo R15 series is slated to get it in July in markets like India, Australia, and Europe just like China. However, the Oppo A91 is scheduled to receive the global update in August.

ColorOS is the official Android skin of Oppo smartphones sold worldwide. It is in its 7th generation called ColorOS 7. The latest version is ColorOS 7.2, which is currently exclusive to Reno 4 series. Recently, the company launched Find X2 in India with ColorOS 7.1 onboard. At the same time, Manoj Kumar, the head of ColorOS was interviewed by The Indian Express.

In the interview, Mr Kumar revealed some interesting facts about the development of ColorOS for international users. 

When asked about the addition of new features, the Oppo executive said that they always listen to user’s feedback on ColorOS Community as well as from customer care centres. Based on those, new features are finalized after going through rigorous trend analysis and ideation across different teams.

He also revealed that Oppo’s R&D centre in India has 300 employees and about more than 30 of them are working on localization in ColorOS by being close with the HQ team in China.

Further, Mr Kumar disclosed that the development of a new ColorOS version takes between four to six months. Like any software, various teams are involved in it and not one.

Most importantly, he also addressed advertisements in UI. He said Android and Google have an advertising platform but they don’t encourage it. Thus, they give an option to block them. In simpler words, ads are present in ColorOS but it can be disabled if the user is not interested.

At the end of May, Oppo released ColorOS 7 stable update timeline for India. In that, the company mentioned it will be rolling out the update to F9 and F9 Pro on June 10. As promised, these two devices have now started receiving the update as ‘Trial Version’ build.

Oppo announced ColorOS 7 based on Android 10 back in November 2019. But the company is yet to roll out the update to all the eligible devices. Between this, the brand has also released ColorOS 7.1 and ColorOS 7.2, which are currently limited to certain launch devices.

Having said that, the ColorOS 7 update for Oppo F9 and F9 Pro comes with build number CPH1823EX_11.F.09_2090_202006051759. It can be downloaded by navigating to Settings > Software Updates > Gear Icon > Trial Version.

The update is only available for units running CPH1823EX_11_C.19_1190_202003281428 and CPH1823EX_11_C.20_1120_202005081852 builds. So make sure to update to these builds if your device is running an older build than these.

Also, though it is called ‘Trial Version’, it is basically stable build just like Xiaomi’s MIUI Stable Beta but available for all, instead of beta authorized Mi accounts. If the early birds find the build to be without major bugs, the same will be rolled out to all users via OTA.

The next in line to receive ColorOS 7 stable update in India are Oppo A5/A9 2020 on June 15, Oppo F7/F7 128GB on June 24, and Oppo R15/R15 Pro in July.

In April, Oppo updated 17 of its smartphones to stable ColorOS 7 build in China. The list included all the premium and mid-premium devices. Now, the company has shared an update timeline for its mid-range and budget smartphones. These handsets will be receiving the OTA by the end of May.

The below-listed models are the third batch of handsets to receive stable ColorOS 7 stable update in China. 

For the unware, Oppo already has a new version of its mobile software called ColorOS 7.1. This incremental version is only available on the company’s latest flagship smartphones – Find X2 and Find X2 Pro as well as the newly launched Oppo Ace 2. The brand is yet to reveal which devices will get this update

ColorOS 7 was announced way back in November 2019 but only now the company is rolling out stable updates to its devices. The new software update, apart from bringing new features, also bumps up the underlying Android to version 10.

ColorOS has more than 350 million monthly active users as of March 2020. The information was shared by the official Weibo account of ColorOS. The statistics were analysed by Oppo’s own data research division.

Almost all Android smartphone OEMs have a skin of their own to differentiate themselves. Devices by Chinese brand run the most heavily skinned Android operating system. Because Google is banned in that region and the brands have to provide necessary alternatives to Google services.

ColorOS by Oppo is one of the oldest Android skins, which is currently in its 7th generation called ColorOS 7. Smartphones launched by Oppo have been running this software since the earlier days of brand’s entry into the Android smartphone market. Even handsets from its sub-brand Realme (now an independent brand) ran this up until last year.

Oppo is currently rolling out the delayed ColorOS 7 stable update to its devices. Amidst this, the company boasted the userbase of its mobile operating system to be over 350 million (monthly active) as of March 2020. It also mentioned its mobile software to be available in 140 countries and regions supporting 72 languages. For comparison, the userbase is 40 million more than MIUI (310 million), which is one of the most popular Android skins.

It is interesting to see more ColorOS users than MIUI although the latter is older than the former. This makes us to Oppo users hold on to their phones longer than Xiaomi or Redmi users. Additionally, almost all Xiaomi / Redmi smartphones are popular in the custom ROM community and therefore, this could be one of the causes for the lower count.

Lately, Oppo has been pushing stable ColorOS 7 update based on Android 10 to the eligible devices in China after being delayed due to COVID-19 pandemic. Oppo has failed in updating its devices on time and the company claims coronavirus outbreak to be the cause for it. However, the company did manage to roll out beta updates to a number of eligible devices.

The above-mentioned devices were supposed to get early adopter as well as stable updates in Q1. But, the early adopter program was postponed from January to March in the wake of the COVID-19 crisis and thus the stable updates are being released now in Q2.

In November 2019, OPPO released its newly updated custom user interface for its mobile Android operating system — ColorOS 7. With that, the company had also revealed one of the largest adaptation plan for the new interface.

Today, the Chinese smartphone maker issued a new statement that the ColorOS 7 adaptation process has been impacted due to special circumstances and the company is doing everything to maintain the commitment.

Because of the coronavirus outbreak in China, it is difficult to maintain smooth operations in the company as several worker are not coming and some have reported late, affecting the planned operations.

The company says that it has been stepping up deployment of resources to improve the efficiency along with ensuring the health and safety of engineers. The company has thus updated the early adopters plan for the ColorOS 7 in the Chinese market.

Other smartphone models which are set to get the new ColorOS update on 10th March include OPPO R17 Pro, R17 Pro New Year Edition, R17 Pro King Custom Edition, Reno2, Find X, Find X Lamborghini Edition, and Find X Super Flash Charge Edition. OPPO K5 will get the update on 22nd February while Reno Z and Reno2 Z will get the same on 26th February and 31st March respectively.

After a wait for over a month, the realme has opened ColorsOS 7 Beta registrations for Realme X in China. There are several new features that are part of the newest ColorOS 7 skin. Apart from all the luxuries of Android 10, it also packs several additional features. The beta build is meant for testing purposes and it includes several bugs and issues which can cause unstable experience for users.

It’s been two months since the launch of ColorOS 7 but unfortunately hasn’t yet rolled out for many devices. However, the OEMs have to go through the standard practice of testing for fixing bugs before rolling out to the public. Similarly, the Realme X is now ready for beta testing as the beta registrations for ColorOS 7 has started.

The interested users can opt for the registration until December 22 till 23:50 PM. It will be on the first come first serve basis, and the company intakes only 3000 candidates. The registration will be closed if the quota exceeds before the ending date.

Precautions before proceeding:

• Make sure the user has Realme X Chinese variant.
• Backup all the improtant data as the OS will have some bugs leading to unstable experience.
• There won’t be any official rollback after proceeding with the beta upgrade. The user has to visit the local service center to make downgrade possible.
• The user will have to give feedback in a QQ group. The users will be given the QQ group number during the “Sign up” process.

Steps to enter the ColorsOS 7 Beta registrations

1. Visit the ColorOS 7 beta registration link.
2. Once completed, wait until December 24th to see whether you’ve been selected or not.
3. Realme wills tart pushing the maiden update from December 25-26.
4. That’s it!

After the final beta update, the stable build will be rolled out to all the ColorsOS7 beta users. However, the non-beta users need not worry, as the stable upgrade will be pushed directly after the beta testing gets over.

Additionally, Realme X was launched this year with Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 chipset coupled with an Octa-Core processor and Adreno 616 GPU. There’s a 6.53-inch AMOLED capacitive touchscreen display having the resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels. It is protected with Corning Gorilla Glass 5.

In optics, there’s a dual rear camera module featuring a 48-megapixel primary camera and a 5-megapixel depth sensor. A pop-up 16-megapixel selfie-camera is present on the front. It is equipped with an under-display fingerprint sensor, BL 5.0, 3765 mAh Li-Po battery with 20W fast charging and a 3.5mm audio jack.

Last week Realme released the roadmap for the rollout of ColorOS 7 based on Android 10 for its phones. The rollout has 11 devices in total and is scheduled to end in Q3 2020. However, there are a number of devices missing from the list. A few days ago, Realme confirmed those phones will not be getting the update.

Apparently, there is a petition for Realme to release ColorOS 7 for the Realme 1, Realme 2, Realme C1, and Realme U1 seeing as they are missing from the rollout schedule. In response to a tweet urging the manufacturer to update the devices, the official Twitter account for Realme India Support replied the aforementioned phones will not get the ColorOS 7 update based on Android 10.

We would like to inform you that ColorOS 7 based on Android 10 update will not be rolled out for realme 1/ realme U1/ realme C1/ realme 2.

That response will surely break the hearts of owners of these devices considering the fact that all four phones were released last year.

In our opinion, we wish Realme adopted Xiaomi‘s style of updating its devices whereby older devices get new features but still stay on their current Android version.

It is no surprise that Realme has left out some devices judging from its large portfolio in about 18 months. This is bound to happen when a manufacturer keeps churning out phones. Realme is not the only manufacturer guilty of this and that isn’t to say there aren’t manufacturers with fewer products who do not abandon devices after they have been released.

Nevertheless, we believe owners of these devices will keep clamoring for an update and may be lucky enough to get Realme to change their stance.

Realme has today announced that the users of the company’s latest smartphone Realme X2 Pro in India can now experience ColorOS 7 based on Android 10 by participating in the beta recruitment programme.

The company has added that applications for the beta testing are being accepted until December 3, while the ColorOS 7 release for successful beta applicants will debut on December 18.

Further, the company has also shared a couple of images to give a glimpse at the custom ColorOS 7 update designed for the Realme X2 Pro. Earlier this week, Realme announced the ColorOS 7 update roadmap for its key smartphones including the Realme X2 Pro.

The application window is open and applicants need to fill a Google form to participate in the beta testing programme. They need to be an Indian citizen and at least 18 years old. The company is also asking for a “provable” experience in OS beta testing. Selected participants will need to sign a non-disclosure agreement (NDA).

After receiving applications, the company will contact successful applicants via an email. The final list of beta testers will also be provided on the Realme Community forums on December 9th.

The smartphone comes with a 6.5-inch Full HD+ S-AMOLED display and is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 Plus SoC which is clocked at 2.96GHz. The phone is coupled with up to 12GB of LPDDR4x RAM and 256GB UFS 3.0 storage.

As for the cameras, the device features quad camera system that has the Samsung GW1 64-megapixel lens with f/1.8 aperture as the primary sensor. Oppo’s ColorOS 7 has been officially launched in India. It is the latest build of the company’s custom Android OS skin. The new update brings many features to Oppo smartphones like Riding Mode, DocVault and, localized feature for the Indian subcontinent.

ColorOS 7 Compatible Devices & Rollout

ColorOS 7 had initially debuted in China a week prior and is based on the company’s Infinite Design concept that aims to simplify the user interface. Currently, Oppo is planning on bringing the latest build to about 20 smartphone models which include Oppo Reno, Oppo Reno 10x Zoom, Oppo Reno 2, Oppo Find, Oppo F, Oppo K and Oppo A series. The update is being rolled out in a staggered manner, meaning that certain users will receive the update as a trial version starting today. Furthermore, the new update is also set to reach all the compatible models in Chinese, South Asian, Southeast Asian, Europe, Asia-Pacific, and the Middle Eastern regions.

Notably, ColorOS 7 will also include certain Realme smartphones. The beta program for the new ColorOS update will begin on Wednesday (27th November 2019) for Realme X2 Pro. Oppo has already started the rollout of ColorOS 7 in China for many of the aforementioned models alongside Oppo Reno Barcelona Custom Edition, Oppo Reno Ace, and Oppo Reno Ace Gundam Edition. These devices are a few of the first handsets to be updated.

ColorOS 7 Features

As mentioned previously, ColorOS 7 is based on Oppo’s Infinite Design concept that has its core philosophy in lightweight visuals for a clean and user-friendly interface. The new update also brings about additional privacy-related features such as the Personal Information Protection option that allows users to protect their personal data from third-party apps and software. Other security options include Payment Protection and File Protection as a major addition alongside a Private Safe to transfer photos, videos, audio and other documents to a “secure zone” in the storage folder.

ColorOS 7 arrives with a new Smart Sidebar that holds favorite apps and tools at the side of the screen. The new software build is also preloaded with a new Soloop video editing app. In terms of Localized functions, Indian users also get Smart Riding and Riding Mode features. These new features have been developed in Oppo’s R&D (Research and Development) centre in Hyderabad, India. The team of 280 members focuses on localizing features and assisting the global team in creating more globalized features.

The new software update also arrives with performance boosts as well. The CachPreload function is claimed to make apps open faster than the previous iterations of ColorOS. oMem is a feature that adapts to user habits to shift and allocate system resources appropriately while the oSense adds a new scheduling mechanism that prioritizes front end and user-related threads. The proprietary feature is touted to boost RAM utilization by up to a sizeable 40 percent and increase overall system response by 30 percent.

According to Oppo shared data, the company has over 300 million global users spanning 140 countries with at least 80 different languages. A total of 6 research centres conceptualize and design ColorOS updates. The company also stated that India is one of its key markets.

Realme has its own custom-version of OPPO’s ColorOS 7 which is based on Android 10. The update roadmaps both for China and India released earlier are for beta ROM. Realme has now released the Android 10 Stable update roadmap for its models. This was unveiled by Realme Mobiles CEO Madhav Sheth via a tweet today.

The Android 10 update will usher in a new ColorOS 7 customized for Realme phones. The timeline extends from Q1 to Q3 2020. The Realme 3 Pro and Realme XT will be the first to get the Android 10 update and that will be in January 2020. The Realme X and Realme 5 Pro will join the train in February while the Realme X2 Pro is scheduled to get its own OTA update in March.

ColorOS 7 was officially announced yesterday with a bunch of audio-visual enhancements and feature additions. However, we were disappointed to hear that Realme X2 Pro would be one of the last phones to receive the update, as late as April 2020.

Today, Realme CMO has revealed that the ColorOS 7 early adopter program for the Realme X2 Pro will kick on December 18, which is just a few weeks away. So those who can’t wait to get an early taste of ColorOS 7 can look forward to this program. However, this date is for users in China and we still don’t have a date for the international Realme X2 Pro users. But we should hear more about this on November 26, when OPPO officially unveils the ColorOS 7 in India.

After releasing the new ColorOS 7 version in China today, OPPO has started accepting limited registrations for ColorOS early adopters program in China. Note that at present, only OPPO Reno users can register for being an early adopter of the new OS. The registrations for OPPO Reno 10X Zoom and Reno Ace models will kick off later today.

If you live in China and wish to register to become an early adopter, follow these steps:  Go to “Settings” > “Software Update” > “Upper Right Corner Settings Icon” > Click “Upgrade Early Adoption”. After weeks of teasers and anticipation, OPPO has finally announced the new ColorOS 7 operating system. The OS builds on the existing ColorOS 6’s borderless concept but makes it a lot lighter and easy on the eyes by decluttering the UI and tweaking its overall colors.

There are a lot of new changes made to ColorOS 7, so let’s take a quick look at them down below.

ColorOS 7 Design

The ColorOS 7 isn’t a revamped UI. So if you have ever used the ColorOS 6, you should be familiar with the overall interface. However, OPPO has increased the white space in the UI and tweaked the UI colors to make it easy on the eyes. The ColorOS 7 tones down the saturation to reduce visual fatigue. At the conference, the company revealed that on average, a user spends around 4.7 hours on his smartphone. Therefore it was necessary for the company to work on a user interface that was light and didn’t wear out the user.

The ColorOS 7 brings four different icon designs, including a couple of minimalistic options.

The company also launched a new OPPO Sans font with the new OS. The Chinese characters of the font were developed by Zhu Zhiwei of Hanyi Fonts while the western characters were developed by the U.S. design company, Pentagram. What’s even more interesting is that the OPPO Sans font has been released free to use for everyone, even for commercial use.

The ColorOS 7 also brings a system-wide dark mode that covers third-party applications as well. You can also schedule the dark mode to apply at a specific time in the day. You can further reduce eye strain in the dark mode by applying the eye protection layer on top.

ColorOS 7 Features

There are a bunch of new features in the new ColorOS 7 version. For example, there’s a new Focus mode, similar to the Zen mode on OxygenOS.

ColorOS 7 is smarter too. It can automatically switch to drive mode if it connects to the car Bluetooth and it can send a sleep mode reminder at night, depending on your smartphone usage patterns, which activates DND and dark mode on the device.

The ColorOS 7 also comes with a half screen feature which enables the UI to show small cards like contacts, calendar, and alarms on the bottom part of the screen. This is different from the traditional split-screen mode found in the previous version. Talking about split-screen, the new OS comes with a special Flashback (international name may be different) button that will come in handy when you have to quickly switch between two apps.

We don’t have exact details on how it works in each scenario but imagine if you are gaming and you get a text which you have to urgently reply to. The flashback button comes to your rescue by offering a one-click switch between your game and the messaging app. What’s more, the button will give you a quick snippet of what’s happening in the game.

This button can also come in handy for other scenarios where you want a live view of what’s happening in the other app. For example, if you are texting and if your Uber or in China’s case, DiDi driver has arrived, the button will show a message for the same.

There’s also a new password manager powered by Google. Camera centric features in ColorOs 7 include a tweaked camera UI, portrait mode 2.0, night mode, super stabilization, and Soloop video editor. The OS also supports three-finger long screenshot and cropping.

Another interesting new feature is the added support for the cross-brand file transfer protocol that was established recently. If you remember, we reported a couple of months back that Xiaomi, OPPO, Vivo and other big names came together to establish a cross-brand file transfer alliance. With the ColorOS 7, this transfer protocol goes live for some OPPO models.

ColorOS 7 Performance

In terms of performance enhancements, the new ColorOS 7 improves application startup speeds and fluency. The company says that app startup speeds have increased by 25% and system fluency and RAM utilization have improved by 30% and 40% respectively. Even gaming performance is reportedly improved, with touch response and game frame rates improving by 15% and 19% respectively in the new OS. These figures are likely with respect to ColorOS 6’s performance.

OPPO also said that there are more than 300 million ColorOS users worldwide today. The OS has been translated in over 40 countries and in more than 80 languages across the world.

The ColorOS 7 will first be available on the OPPO Reno3 model that will launch in December.

OPPO unveiled ColorOS 7 today at an event in China today. The new operating system brings new features and is designed to make usage more comfortable.

While the new version of ColorOS will be available to a number of OPPO devices in the future via an update, OPPO has announced that the OS will appear first on the Reno 3, its upcoming phone scheduled for release in December.

The OPPO Reno 3 will be a 5G phone with support for NSA and SA 5G networks. The details about the phone’s specifications are currently unknown, but last month, it was reported that OPPO and Qualcomm will announce a dual-band 5G phone in December. As at then, the name of the phone wasn’t known but now it has been revealed it will launch as the Reno 3.

The Reno 3 will most likely be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 7250 processor which will have an integrated 5G modem. However, we have a feeling the phone will not go on sale until next year.

Qualcomm has a summit scheduled for early December where it is expected to announce new processors including the SM7250. It most likely already shipped samples of the chipset to manufacturers and those samples will be used for the Reno 3 launch. However, commercial quantities won’t be available until next year. So while the Reno 3 may launch next month, folks will probably not get their hands on a unit until January.

Today’s launch was for the Chinese unveiling of ColorOS 7. Next week, OPPO will have a global unveiling in India.

Chinese smartphone manufacturer OPPO is all set to unveil the latest iteration of their Android UI, ColorOS 7, on November 20. In preparation for the launch, the ColorOS team have teased another new feature of ColorOS 7, and this time it’s one that’s particularly relevant to Chinese users. ColorOS 7 essentially notifies users of nearby power bank renting stations if the phone’s battery gets low.

Power bank renting stations are a huge thing in China right now, and the ColorOS team are capitalizing on it. The feature itself is pretty self explanatory. If your phone is low on battery, it’ll notify you when there’s a power bank station nearby, as well as what sort of connectors are available. It’s a novel idea, and could come in handy quite often.

Oppo is also going to unveil ColorOS 7 in India on November 26. This is the first time the smartphone-maker has planned a launch event for the Android-based OS outside of China. Oppo promises the new update will come with ‘borderless aesthetics, fresh visuals and intuitive platform’, but we also expect to see some region specific features there too.

Outside of these few feature reveals, there isn’t much else known about ColorOS 7. We don’t know much about the design language, the themes or the upgrades made behind the scenes. It is the next big iteration of the UI however, so we should expect some big changes. Thankfully, the team seems to be pretty passionate, so we’re looking forward to what comes out of it.

Further, the ColorOS 7 operating system will be better optimized for gaming as the company is all set to introduce new game acceleration features. It is said to offer great gaming experience without degrading the picture quality, frame rate and resolution.

MIUI is to Xiaomi as ColorOS is to OPPO. While Xiaomi is already rolling out a stable version of the latest iteration called MIUI 11 to its devices, OPPO is gearing up for the launch of the latest version of its own skin which will arrive as ColorOS 7.

It was previously reported that ColorOS 7 will be unveiled on November 20 in Beijing, China. For OPPO fans outside China, you won’t have to wait long as the BBK-owned company has begun sending invites for a launch in India exactly a week after the Beijing event.

The ColorOS 7 event scheduled for November 27 will be held in New Delhi.

There are no official details about what to expect but it should come with a new UI, Dark Mode for those who don’t like the mainly white bright theme of ColorOS 6. We also expect it to come with new animations, a new version of Game Boost, and a number of useful features to make usage easier.

Although it is an independent brand, Realme is using a lot of resources from OPPO to keep its operations going. One of them is ColorOS, a custom Android skin from Chinese smartphone maker OPPO, which is also being used by Realme.

There were reports making rounds about Realme working on its own operating system named RealmeOS based on Android, which will look very close to the stock Android. When the company announced a closed beta testing for the Realme 3 Pro users in India, it was assumed to be for the upcoming RealmeOS.

However, if the latest information coming from Realme India CEO Madhav Sheth is to be believed, then the RealmeOS is not coming. Instead, the company will get its own branch of ColorOS with the upcoming major release — ColorOS 7.

Madhav Sheth has confirmed that the company’s smartphones will have an execlusive customized version of the ColorOS 7 that will be similar to the stock Android in terms of user interface. However, he has not shared more information about the same.

In the same AskMadhav Q&A session, he also confirmed that the company’s smartphones with quad-camera setup — Realme 5, 5 Pro, and XT will be getting video recording support with the ultra wide camera lens. He also hinted about the Realme Fitness Tracker getting launched in India pretty soon.

Coming to the upcoming ColorOS 7, there’s noting known about this custom user interface at this time. However, OPPO Vice President recently confirmed that the OPPO Reno 10X Zoom will be getting the ColorOS 7, which was also the first official confirmation from the Chinese company about the existence of ColorOS 7.

Oppo Reno 10X Zoom, the flagship smartphone of the first-generation Reno series smartphones, was launched earlier this year. Now, the company has now revealed details about rolling out the latest Android 10 update for the same smartphone.

As per the details shared by the company, the ColorOS update based on Android 10 for the Oppo Reno 10X Zoom will be rolled out in mid-October to those who have participated for testing. Later, the open beta version will be pushed out to the users in late October.

A couple of days ago, Shen Yiren, Vice President of OPPO had confirmed through a Weibo post that the Reno 10X Zoom smartphone will be getting the upcoming ColorOS 7 update. That was also the first confirmation about the existence of ColorOS 7 by the company.

The OPPO Reno 10X Zoom, the smartphone is available in China in two color options — Fog Sea Green and Extreme Night Black. As for the pricing, the 6GB RAM + 128GB variant costs 3,999 Yuan (~$595) while the 6GB RAM + 256GB storage model is priced at 4,499 Yuan (~$670). The top-end variant with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage is available for a price of 4,799 Yuan (~$715).

The phone flaunts a 6.6-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with 2340 x 1080 pixels screen resolution, 19.5:9 aspect ratio, and Corning Gorilla Glass 6 protection on top. It also comes with an in-display fingerprint sensor. The device is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 octa-core processor with up to 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage.

As for the cameras, there’s a triple camera setup on the back where the sensors are placed vertically. It features a 48-megapixel primary lens with optical image stabilisation, a 13-megapixel periscope-type telephoto lens with 5x optical zoom and OIS and an 8-megapixel ultra wide-angle lens.
