Additionally, customers using an SBI Card can enjoy a cashback of Rs 1,000, bringing the effective cost down to Rs 12,499.

This latest addition complements the existing Galaxy A05s, which features 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage, priced at Rs 14,999. Both variants are available in Light Green, Light Violet, and Black and can be purchased at Samsung exclusive and retail stores, Samsung’s official website, and various online platforms.

The same device will be later unveiled for global markets in India at 7:30 PM IST. Internationally, the phone will go by OnePlus Fold.

Both have the same 5000mAh battery with 25W fast charging. The Galaxy A05s is slated to receive updates for the next few years and it even houses a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. Samsung is gearing up to update its affordable Galaxy A series with the impending release of the Galaxy A05 and A05s smartphones. These devices have successfully passed various regional certifications, hinting at an imminent global launch. These devices have now cleared the SIRIM certification, getting another step closer to launch.

The Galaxy A05 and A05s variants have made their way into the SIRIM certification database, identified by model numbers SM-A055F/DS and SM-A057F/DS, respectively. While the certification doesn’t disclose any specifications, it effectively paves the way for their upcoming release in Malaysia.

Previous reports have revealed that the Samsung Galaxy A05 has a MediaTek Helio G85 processor, which is a decent 4G chip. It has 4GB of RAM to keep things running smoothly. Samsung Galaxy A05s Impending Launch

The FCC listing unveils a bit of detail about the smartphone’s design and other specifications. It appears to be a 4G LTE device carrying along support for WiFi 2.4/5GHz, and Bluetooth 5.3. Interestingly, the Galaxy A05 was also recently spotted on FCC with triple WiFi band support. Such features testify that the Galaxy A05s will be the lite version of the standard Galaxy A05. Further, the Galaxy A05s is tested with a 4000 mAh SLC-51 battery and TA-800 25W fast charger.

The schematic design has unleashed its rear design featuring a round camera module, and Samsung branding at the bottom center of the device. The round corners are quite visible in the design. Other details about the device are yet under wraps.

Some previous leaks do shed some light on the specifications including the presence of Helio G85 chipset and 4GB RAM. It will run on Android 13 and will bundle some other upgrades.

Galaxy A05 and Galaxy A05s Specs and Other Details

Talking about other rumors and leaks, the phone was spotted on Bluetooth SIG listing confirming the presence of Bluetooth 5.3. However, the Geekbench listing unveiled some additional details about the device specifications.

As per the benchmarks, the Galaxy A05 bearing model number SM-A055M appears to bundle Helio G85 chipset coupled with 2x Cortex A75 Cores (2.0GHz) and 6x A55 Cores (1.8GHz). It is a slight upgrade from Helio P35 which was present on the Galaxy A04 smartphone. Further, it bundles Mali-G52 MC2 GPU which is much more powerful than the PowerVR GE8320 GPU present on its predecessor.

The model that appeared on Geekbench seems to feature 4GB RAM. It is expected to feature a full-fledged Android 13 rather than the Go edition.
