<p><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/category/samsung/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Samsung </a>recently expanded its audio lineup with the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2025/08/18/samsungs-new-galaxy-buds-3-fe-bring-anc-30hr-battery-at-a-budget/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">launch of the Galaxy Buds 3 FE</a>, arriving as the most affordable option from the premium Galaxy Buds 3 lineup. While the regular <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2024/07/11/galaxy-buds-3-buds-3-pro-launched-with-revamped-design-and-led-light-strip/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Galaxy Buds 3</a> bring a sleeker design and extra premium features, the Buds 3 FE pack impressive value at a lower price point. If you’re wondering which pair makes more sense for you, the budget model could surprise you.</p>

<h3>Design and Comfort</h3>

<p>Both earbuds feature a similar stem design that resembles the Apple AirPods. The Galaxy Buds 3 have an open-type design like the base AirPods 3, while the Galaxy Buds 3 FE feature silicon eartips like the AirPods Pro and Galaxy Buds 3 Pro. The open-ear style is still popular for many, but many still prefer the silicon eartips. </p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-large"><img loading="lazy" width="1024" height="576" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/10/galaxy-buds-3-1024x576.webp?x44794" alt="" class="wp-image-654468" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/10/galaxy-buds-3-1024x576.webp 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/10/galaxy-buds-3-300x169.webp 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/10/galaxy-buds-3-768x432.webp 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/10/galaxy-buds-3-696x392.webp 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/10/galaxy-buds-3-1068x601.webp 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/10/galaxy-buds-3-747x420.webp 747w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/10/galaxy-buds-3.webp 1200w" sizes="(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /><figcaption>Galaxy Buds 3 (right) next to the Galaxy Buds 3 Pro</figcaption></figure></div>

<p>Open-ended earpieces can be uncomfortable and might not offer a snug fit. So the silicon tip on the Galaxy Buds 3 FE could be comfortable and offer you a more secure fit. This difference in design alone also brings another advantage to the Buds 3 FE.</p>

<h3>Noise Isolation</h3>

<p>With the open-type eartip, there is noticeable audio bleed from the Galaxy Buds 3. Meaning, any audio at high levels might be audible to people near you. While these types of earbuds typically don&#8217;t offer ANC, Samsung has managed to bring this feature on this premium earbuds. However, the experience is more inconsistent compared to the Galaxy Buds 3 FE since it features those silicone eartips.</p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-large"><img loading="lazy" width="1024" height="576" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/08/Samsung-Galaxy-Buds-3-FE-1024x576.webp?x44794" alt="Samsung Galaxy Buds 3 FE" class="wp-image-701495" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/08/Samsung-Galaxy-Buds-3-FE-1024x576.webp 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/08/Samsung-Galaxy-Buds-3-FE-300x169.webp 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/08/Samsung-Galaxy-Buds-3-FE-768x432.webp 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/08/Samsung-Galaxy-Buds-3-FE-696x392.webp 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/08/Samsung-Galaxy-Buds-3-FE-1068x601.webp 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/08/Samsung-Galaxy-Buds-3-FE-747x420.webp 747w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/08/Samsung-Galaxy-Buds-3-FE.webp 1200w" sizes="(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /><figcaption>Samsung Galaxy Buds 3 FE</figcaption></figure></div>

<p>This also leads to another advantage, which is passive noise isolation. Even with ANC disabled, the Galaxy Buds 3 FE can double as a regular earplug as it fits with your ear canal, which is impossible on the base Galaxy Buds 3.</p>

<h3>Battery Life</h3>

<p>This is another where the Galaxy Buds 3 FE shines. With up to 30 hours of playback with the case (ANC disabled) and 8.5 hours from the buds alone, they outperform the standard Buds 3, which lean closer to 20 hours with the case and 6 hours of playback from just the buds. The battery life is better even with ANC enabled.</p>

<h3>Value for Money</h3>

<p>Samsung&#8217;s Fan Edition is known for its affordable pricing. The Galaxy Buds 3 FE carries a 9,999 INR price tag. This makes it more affordable than the Galaxy Buds 3, which was announced for 14,999 INR. But in many markets like the US and India, both models are priced around 149 US Dollars since the Galaxy Buds 3 often go on discount. So the choice is still subjective. Some prefer the better audio quality of the Galaxy Buds 3, while others might place more importance on better ANC, sound isolation, and a better fit.</p>

<h2>Here&#8217;s how Galaxy Buds 3 stands out from the FE model</h2>

<p>The <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2024/07/11/galaxy-buds-3-buds-3-pro-launched-with-revamped-design-and-led-light-strip/">Galaxy Buds 3</a> represent a significant upgrade over the budget-focused Buds FE. It boasts IP57 dust and water resistance, a substantial improvement over the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2023/10/04/samsung-galaxy-buds-fe-launched/">Buds FE</a>&#8216;s basic IPX2 rating. Its active Noise Cancellation delivers superior audio isolation, while battery life reaches 6 hours per charge (5 hours with ANC enabled) and 30 hours total with the charging case. Advanced features like AI-powered Adaptive Equalizer, Interpreter Mode, and seamless switching between Galaxy devices further justify their original premium positioning.</p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-full"><img loading="lazy" width="676" height="305" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/03/Galaxy-Buds-3-80-discount.png?x44794" alt="" class="wp-image-678893" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/03/Galaxy-Buds-3-80-discount.png 676w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/03/Galaxy-Buds-3-80-discount-300x135.png 300w" sizes="(max-width: 676px) 100vw, 676px" /><figcaption>Source: Galaxy Buds 3 product page on Samsung US</figcaption></figure></div>

<p>For buyers seeking the absolute lowest price point, Samsung is also offering the Galaxy Buds FE at a reduced $79 (down from $99). However, the FE model comes with notable compromises, which include the lack of ANC and significantly weaker water resistance.</p>

<p>The current promotion presents a clear choice for Galaxy ecosystem users: go for the discounted Buds 3 to get near-flagship features at entry-level pricing, or opt for the Buds FE to minimize costs while sacrificing the premium features. Notably, this deal may not last long as the inventory is already showing signs of depletion. Samsung didn&#8217;t announce an official end date, but the sell-out of white models suggests interested buyers should act quickly.</p>

<div class="wp-container-1 wp-block-buttons">
<div class="wp-block-button"><a class="wp-block-button__link" href="https://howl.link/su0dty0vd9w2j" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Buy Now </a></div>
</div>

<p>The promotion offers one of the best value propositions we&#8217;ve seen for Samsung audio accessories, effectively putting mid-tier performance within reach of budget-conscious consumers. At this price, the Buds 3 represent an unusually strong bargain in the wireless earbud market.</p>

<h3>Samsung Galaxy Buds 3 Pro or Galaxy Buds 3: Design</h3>

<p>One of the biggest changes in the Galaxy Buds series is the overhaul in design. The Galaxy Buds 3 Pro hasn&#8217;t seen a massive change, retaining the silicon ear tips but housing new LED strips. These help indicate the charging states and much more. On the other hand, the vanilla Galaxy Buds 3 no longer has silicon ear tips, changing to a semi in-ear design. So Samsung is now offering its premium hearables just like Apple with its <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/apple-airpods/">AirPods </a>and <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/apple-airpods-pro/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">AirPods Pro</a>. </p>

<p>Another notable change is to the charging case itself on both models, with the lid on the top featuring a transparent design. To recall, the Galaxy Buds 2 and Buds 2 Pro offered an in-design design with ear tips, meaning there is a distinct audio experience in the base and Pro options. For protection, the Galaxy Buds 3 series arrives with an IP57 rating for water and dust resistance.</p>

<h3>Specifications</h3>

<p>Samsung&#8217;s Galaxy Buds 3 has a one way 11mm dynamic driver while the Galaxy Buds 3 Pro houses a dual driver setup with a 10.5mm dynamic driver with an additional 6.1mm planar. Both versions support 24bit Hi-Fi Audio and 360 Audio with Direct Multi Channel support. There is even support for multiple audio codes like the SSC (Samsung Seamless Codec) HiFi, SSC UHQ (Samsung Proprietary), AAC, and SBC. </p>

<p>The Buds 3 Pro has a larger 53mAh battery pack in the earbuds, while the Buds 3 has a 48mAh cell. The charging case houses a 515mAh battery. You can pair the duo via Bluetooth 5.4, which supports Auto Switch as well. Despite the changes in design, the Galaxy Buds 3 still offers ANC functionality (Active Noise Cancellation) and equips a total of 3 Mics + VPU (Voice Pickup Unit) to identify the surrounding sound and automatically adjust the optimal level of noise and sound. Meanwhile, the Galaxy Buds 3 Pro also has similar features but with an Ambient sound and Voice Detect for an even better listening experience.</p>

<h3>So which one should you buy?</h3>

<p>I actually support Samsung&#8217;s decision to make the vanilla and Pro options more distinct. There are plenty of people who still prefer the semi in-ear design. Not a lot of premium options of this kind exist, so it&#8217;s welcomed that we finally have an offering from Samsung as well. The company is selling the Galaxy Buds 3 for <a href="https://www.amazon.in/dp/B0D7M34JXY?tag=disconatio-21&amp;linkCode=ogi&amp;th=1&amp;psc=1" rel="sponsored nofollow">Rs 14,999</a>, while the Galaxy Buds 3 Pro is priced at <a href="https://www.amazon.in/dp/B0D7M4G3NP?tag=disconatio-21&amp;linkCode=ogi&amp;th=1&amp;psc=1" rel="sponsored nofollow">19,999 INR</a>. So if you prefer the semi in-ear design, then the Galaxy Buds 3 is a great pair for you. But if you want Samsung&#8217;s best earbuds and have money to spend, the Galaxy Buds 3 Pro can rival even the AirPods Pro.</p>

<p>A lot of the aspects are common between the Buds 3 and Buds 3 Pro. However, the Buds 3 Pro comes with an in-ear type design and offers better audio quality with a 10.5mm Dynamic driver and an additional 6.1mm planar.</p>

<p>The earbuds are slightly heavier at 5.4g while the charging case weighs the same as the standard model. Buds 3 Pro packs a larger 53mAh battery. Speaking of ANC, the Buds 3 Pro also offers Ambient sound and Voice Detect for an even better listening experience. As you can see from the image, the Pro model also packs LED strips to inform you about the charging state and more.</p>

<p><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/category/samsung/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Samsung</a> is expected to unveil its latest generation of wireless earbuds, the Galaxy Buds 3 and Galaxy Buds 3 Pro, next week. Ahead of this, a new leak has surfaced, revealing the pricing for these earbuds in the South Korean market.</p>

<p>According to a screenshot shared by tipster<em><a href="https://x.com/Kuma_Sleepy/status/1809656482553868693" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener"> Sleep Kuma</a></em> of a retail listing, the pricing for the Galaxy Buds 3 lineup is expected to remain consistent with previous models.</p>

<p>The leak suggests that the Galaxy Buds 3 will be priced at KRW 203,700 (roughly USD $148), and the Galaxy Buds 3 Pro will cost KRW 296,700 (approximately USD $215). These prices are similar to the launch prices of the Galaxy Buds 2 and Galaxy Buds 2 Pro.</p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-full"><img loading="lazy" width="302" height="600" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/07/Samsung-Galaxy-Buds-3-and-Buds-3-Pro-Price.jpg?x44794" alt="" class="wp-image-636825" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/07/Samsung-Galaxy-Buds-3-and-Buds-3-Pro-Price.jpg 302w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/07/Samsung-Galaxy-Buds-3-and-Buds-3-Pro-Price-151x300.jpg 151w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/07/Samsung-Galaxy-Buds-3-and-Buds-3-Pro-Price-211x420.jpg 211w" sizes="(max-width: 302px) 100vw, 302px" /></figure></div>

<p>The leak also sheds light on the model numbers and designs of the upcoming earbuds. The Galaxy Buds 3, available in black and white, carries the model number SM-R530. The Galaxy Buds 3 Pro, shown in white, has the model number SM-R630.</p>

<p>Samsung seems to have significantly redesigned the new earbuds compared to the previous generation. Both models now feature stems, similar to Apple&#8217;s AirPods and AirPods Pro.</p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-large"><img src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/07/galaxy-buds-3-pro-hands-on-ice-4-1024x576.webp?x44794" alt="" /><figcaption>Galaxy Buds 3 Pro leaked image</figcaption></figure></div>

<p>There are also rumors that the Galaxy Buds 3 series will support a higher-quality wireless codec, capable of 24-bit 96KHz audio transmission. Additionally, the buds are expected to feature Adaptive ANC, Adaptive Equalizer, and Ambient Sound, and will likely use Bluetooth 5.4 for audio transmission.</p>

<p>With active noise cancellation (ANC) on, the base Galaxy Buds 3 is expected to offer up to five hours of playback time, and up to six hours with ANC off.</p>

<p>The Galaxy Buds 3 Pro may offer up to six hours of battery life with ANC on and up to seven hours with ANC off. Both models will also have an IP57 rating for protection against dust and water splashes.</p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-large"><img loading="lazy" width="1024" height="532" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/07/Galaxy-Buds-3-packaging-box-1024x532.jpg?x44794" alt="" class="wp-image-636623" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/07/Galaxy-Buds-3-packaging-box-1024x532.jpg 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/07/Galaxy-Buds-3-packaging-box-300x156.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/07/Galaxy-Buds-3-packaging-box-768x399.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/07/Galaxy-Buds-3-packaging-box-696x361.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/07/Galaxy-Buds-3-packaging-box-1068x554.jpg 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/07/Galaxy-Buds-3-packaging-box-809x420.jpg 809w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/07/Galaxy-Buds-3-packaging-box.jpg 1200w" sizes="(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /></figure></div>

<h2>The stem is expected to improve the call quality</h2>

<p>It was previously rumored that the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/galaxy-buds-3/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Galaxy Buds 3</a> series had ditched the bean-shaped design for a more familiar one with a stem. This is the first time we will be Galaxy Buds with a stem. As you can see from the image, the Galaxy Buds 3 comes in a white color with a black strip on the stem.</p>

<p>Hundreds of companies have released TWS earphones with similar designs in the past few years. Samsung is not only doing it for the first time with their product but is also the latest in adopting the stem design.</p>

<p>The black strip could be a touch-sensitive area of the earbuds, and its distinctive color might be intended to make it stand out from similar products. Nonetheless, the new design is described as &#8220;AirPods-like.&#8221;</p>

<p>The company&#8217;s bean-shaped earphones, since the launch of the Galaxy Buds+ in 2020, have had average microphone performance. This could improve with the new design, as the microphones will be positioned closer to the user&#8217;s mouth. In addition to a potential enhancement in call quality, the redesign is expected to provide the earbuds with more internal space. This could be used for a larger battery, a more powerful chipset, and additional sensors, leading to an overall improved user experience.</p>

<p>Another TWS earphone has surfaced online, along with its charging case. An image containing the earphone and a flip phone shows Samsung&#8217;s fast pairing system in action, where the feature notes the product to be the Galaxy Buds 3 Pro. You can <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2024/07/05/the-galaxy-buds-3-pro-real-life-image-confirms-a-light-strip-on-the-triangular-stem/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">check out the images here</a>.</p>

<p><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/category/samsung/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Samsung</a> has a lot in store for next month &#8211; new foldable, smartwatches, a smart ring, earbuds, and maybe more. We&#8217;ve already seen renders of the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2024/06/28/galaxy-z-fold-6-galaxy-z-flip-6-render-images-leaked/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Galaxy Z Flip 6 and Z Fold 6</a>, and now it&#8217;s time to turn our attention to the upcoming Galaxy Watch lineup and Galaxy Buds.</p>

<p><em><a href="https://x.com/evleaks/status/1806344206186672512" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Evan Blass</a></em>, a reputable source for tech leaks, has shared the official marketing images of the Galaxy Watch Ultra, Watch 7, Galaxy Buds 3 Pro, and standard Galaxy Buds 3.</p>

<p>The centerpiece of the leak is undoubtedly the Galaxy Watch Ultra, Samsung’s first Ultra smartwatch. It can be seen with a rugged orange band tucked in its unique square case with a circular display nestled on top.&nbsp;</p>

<figure class="wp-block-gallery has-nested-images columns-default is-cropped">
<figure class="wp-block-image size-large"><img loading="lazy" width="900" height="600" data-id="635058" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/06/Samsung-Galaxy-Watch-Ultra-renders.jpg?x44794" alt="" class="wp-image-635058" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/06/Samsung-Galaxy-Watch-Ultra-renders.jpg 900w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/06/Samsung-Galaxy-Watch-Ultra-renders-300x200.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/06/Samsung-Galaxy-Watch-Ultra-renders-768x512.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/06/Samsung-Galaxy-Watch-Ultra-renders-696x464.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/06/Samsung-Galaxy-Watch-Ultra-renders-630x420.jpg 630w" sizes="(max-width: 900px) 100vw, 900px" /></figure>

<figure class="wp-block-image size-large"><img loading="lazy" width="900" height="600" data-id="635057" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/06/Samsung-Galaxy-Watch-7-Render.jpg?x44794" alt="" class="wp-image-635057" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/06/Samsung-Galaxy-Watch-7-Render.jpg 900w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/06/Samsung-Galaxy-Watch-7-Render-300x200.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/06/Samsung-Galaxy-Watch-7-Render-768x512.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/06/Samsung-Galaxy-Watch-7-Render-696x464.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/06/Samsung-Galaxy-Watch-7-Render-630x420.jpg 630w" sizes="(max-width: 900px) 100vw, 900px" /></figure>
</figure>

<p>Interestingly, the proprietary band connection system looks eerily similar to the Apple Watch. Samsung has long favored spring pin bands for its smartwatches, which offer wider compatibility with third-party straps. However, it appears that Samsung is now aiming to make its new Ultra watch more akin to the Apple Watch in this regard.</p>

<p>The leak also offers a look at the standard Galaxy Watch 7. It retains the design of its predecessor, the Watch 6, and has a green band.</p>

<p>Although the buds have a sharper edge compared to Apple&#8217;s AirPods, there&#8217;s a clear resemblance, especially noticeable with the white Galaxy Buds 3. Notably, this model will come without silicone tips.</p>

<p>The Galaxy Buds 3 Pro stands out with its dark gray finish and a transparent case lid. The Pro model will retain the comfortable silicone tips from earlier Galaxy Buds models.</p>

<p>With the Unpacked event just around the corner, anticipation is building for the official unveiling of these wearables and earbuds. Rumors also hint at the debut of the first-ever Galaxy Ring at the event. We&#8217;ll be sure to keep you updated as more details emerge.</p>

<p>The South Korean company has not confirmed the names of the devices to be unveiled at the next Galaxy Unpacked event. However, it has been confirmed that the new Galaxy Z series will be announced, along with the integration of AI throughout the entire Galaxy ecosystem. As per reports, the brand will announce as many as seven new devices through the July 10 event.</p>

<h3><strong>Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Galaxy Z Flip 6</strong></h3>

<div class="wp-block-image is-style-default"><figure class="aligncenter size-large"><img loading="lazy" width="1024" height="592" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/06/image-129-1024x592.png?x44794" alt="" class="wp-image-634367" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/06/image-129-1024x592.png 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/06/image-129-300x173.png 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/06/image-129-768x444.png 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/06/image-129-696x402.png 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/06/image-129-1068x617.png 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/06/image-129-727x420.png 727w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/06/image-129.png 1258w" sizes="(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /><figcaption>Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Z Flip 6 alleged images</figcaption></figure></div>

<p>The <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2024/06/24/samsung-galaxy-z-fold-6-reservation-date/">Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Galaxy Z Flip 6</a> are most likely to be the star of the Galaxy Unpacked event. Both devices are expected to come equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 for Galaxy chipset. The Z Fold 6 is expected to boast a lighter and more durable design, potentially featuring a reduced weight compared to its predecessor. It may also sport a slightly larger cover display, enhancing usability when folded. The Galaxy Z Flip 6, on the other hand, is expected to offer an improved photography experience.</p>

<h3><strong>Galaxy Watch 7 and Galaxy Watch Ultra</strong></h3>

<div class="wp-block-image is-style-default"><figure class="aligncenter size-large"><img loading="lazy" width="1024" height="515" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/06/image-130-1024x515.png?x44794" alt="" class="wp-image-634368" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/06/image-130-1024x515.png 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/06/image-130-300x151.png 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/06/image-130-768x386.png 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/06/image-130-696x350.png 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/06/image-130-1068x537.png 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/06/image-130-835x420.png 835w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/06/image-130.png 1288w" sizes="(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /><figcaption>Galaxy Watch Ultra&#8217;s alleged image</figcaption></figure></div>

<p>The Galaxy Watch Ultra is expected to feature a new 3nm Exynos chipset, BioActive Sensor 2, and Galaxy AI support. It is likely to be available in 40mm and 44mm variants. Rumored to be priced at $700, the Galaxy Watch Ultra could be a large model with a 47mm case. It is expected to be a premium smartwatch with a titanium frame. It is expected to feature a 3nm Exynos chip, a 590mAh battery, 32GB of native storage, Galaxy AI support, 10ATM pressure resistance, and three physical buttons. Both watches are expected to run on the latest One UI-flavored Wear OS.</p>

<h3><strong>Samsung Galaxy Buds and Galaxy Buds 3 Pro</strong></h3>

It is expected to arrive with new audio drivers, longer battery life, Galaxy AI support, adaptive EQ, and an IP57 rating. There is no clarity on what differentiates the Buds 3 Pro from the standard model.</p>

<h3><strong>Galaxy Ring</strong></h3>

<div class="wp-block-image is-style-default"><figure class="aligncenter size-large"><img loading="lazy" width="1024" height="575" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/01/Samsung-Galaxy-Ring-1024x575.jpg?x44794" alt="Samsung Galaxy Ring" class="wp-image-598958" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/01/Samsung-Galaxy-Ring-1024x575.jpg 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/01/Samsung-Galaxy-Ring-300x169.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/01/Samsung-Galaxy-Ring-768x432.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/01/Samsung-Galaxy-Ring-1536x863.jpg 1536w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/01/Samsung-Galaxy-Ring-696x391.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/01/Samsung-Galaxy-Ring-1068x600.jpg 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/01/Samsung-Galaxy-Ring-1920x1079.jpg 1920w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/01/Samsung-Galaxy-Ring-747x420.jpg 747w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/01/Samsung-Galaxy-Ring.jpg 1922w" sizes="(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /><figcaption>Samsung Galaxy Ring</figcaption></figure></div>

Some sources also suggest it may offer features like ECG functionality, fertility tracking, and the ability to control other devices. It&#8217;s expected to have a multi-day battery life and come in various sizes.</p>

<p><a href="https://x.com/TEQHNIKACROSS/status/1803771740902035561">Leaked renders</a>, reportedly from a Korean retailer, have surfaced online, offering another glimpse at <a href="http://gizmochina.com/tag/samsung">Samsung</a>&#8216;s next generation Galaxy Buds. These renders depict earbuds with a design language that marks a departure from Samsung&#8217;s past offerings, such as the Galaxy Buds 2 Pro and FE, which featured a rounder, stemless design.</p>

<h3>Samsung has incorporated a metallic silver color scheme this time</h3>

<p>The leaked images showcase buds with stems, vents, and even a charging case reminiscent of <a href="http://gizmochina.com/tag/airpods">AirPods</a>. This lines up with the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2024/06/18/leaked-galaxy-buds-3-hands-on-image-shows-off-new-design/">previous leak that popped up</a>, with the image of the retail box of the earbuds. While the overall design borrows inspiration from Apple, Samsung incorporates a metallic silver color scheme and slightly sharper angles to distinguish its earbuds.</p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-large"><img loading="lazy" width="1024" height="478" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/06/GQhI0Tib0AA-l4J-1024x478.jpg?x44794" alt="" class="wp-image-633345" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/06/GQhI0Tib0AA-l4J-1024x478.jpg 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/06/GQhI0Tib0AA-l4J-300x140.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/06/GQhI0Tib0AA-l4J-768x359.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/06/GQhI0Tib0AA-l4J-1536x718.jpg 1536w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/06/GQhI0Tib0AA-l4J-696x325.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/06/GQhI0Tib0AA-l4J-1068x499.jpg 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/06/GQhI0Tib0AA-l4J-899x420.jpg 899w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/06/GQhI0Tib0AA-l4J.jpg 1860w" sizes="(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /></figure></div>

<p>The leak suggests Samsung is developing two versions of the Galaxy Buds 3: a standard model and a Pro variant. Both are expected to adopt the new stem-based design. The company traditionally unveils new products during its summer Unpacked events. While an official announcement date remains unknown, these leaks hint that the Galaxy Buds 3 might be showcased at the upcoming event.</p>

Elon Musk stirs the pot again with claims that the Tesla Roadster might fly. Plus, get the scoop on potential pinch controls for the Galaxy Buds 3 and a vibrant new color for the Galaxy S24 Ultra.</p>

<p>All of this and more is in today’s newsletter below.</p>

<p>The Oppo Reno 12 Series has been launched globally, featuring a 6.7-inch Infinite View Screen, a Dimensity 7300-Energy processor, and a 50MP triple camera system. With a sleek design and AI-powered features like AI Eraser 2.0 and AI Clear Face, these smartphones offer premium specs, including fast charging and expandable storage. Priced competitively, these models will be available in Europe and the UK first.</p>

<p>Elon Musk&#8217;s recent claim on X (formerly Twitter) about the Tesla Roadster having flying capabilities has stirred up excitement among industry watchers despite his history of inaccurate claims. The upcoming Roadster, with a promised acceleration of 0-62 mph in just 1.1 seconds and possible flying abilities with a SpaceX option package, has been highly anticipated since its unveiling seven years ago.</p>

The earbuds will ditch the bean-shaped design with a more conventional one with a stem. The latest news is that the earphones will also come with some changes in functionality, To be more precise, the swipe gesture will reportedly be replaced with a pinch. However, it is unclear whether the pinch gesture will be available to both the Galaxy Buds 3 and <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/galaxy-buds-3-pro/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Buds 3 Pro</a> or will be exclusive to the Pro model.</p>

<h2>The information comes from the Samsung Members app</h2>

<p>Notably, the pinch gesture isn&#8217;t entirely new to the product category. In fact, <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/category/apple/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Apple</a>, Nothing, Xiaomi, and several other companies have already used pinch sensors in their products.</p>

<p>The information is revealed through the APK teardown of the Samsung Members app, which suggests the use of pinch sensors in the Galaxy Buds 3 series. AssembleDebug discovered references to pinch sensors in the Samsung Members app version 5.0.00.11. It also includes images showing how to use the gesture.</p>

<p>It&#8217;s not clear from the APK teardown how Samsung may utilize the new sensor. However, the brands that have previously offered the pinch sensor, have used it for basic controls like pinching once to pause, pinching twice to skip, and thrice to go back. The earbuds from Xiaomi, Apple, or Nothing also let you enable or disable noise cancellation and transparency modes with pinch gestures.</p>

<p>It&#8217;s possible that Samsung will offer a similar implementation of the pinch gestures in the upcoming Galaxy Buds 3 series. Samsung&#8217;s shift in functionality could be due to the fact that a pinch gesture feels more natural to use and has a lower rate of false triggers.</p>

<p>However, the leaked real-life images of the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2024/06/18/leaked-galaxy-buds-3-hands-on-image-shows-off-a-terrible-design/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Galaxy Buds 3 packaging box</a> reveal a rather underwhelming design. it could be especially disappointing for those familiar with the previous design.</p>

<p>Earlier, the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2024/06/12/unreleased-samsung-products-revealed-members-app/">Samsung Members</a> app actually revealed an image for the Galaxy Buds 3. The design on the image resembles Apple&#8217;s AirPods, the image on Samsung Members app actually turned out to be true. Additionally, the earbuds feature four generic-looking LEDs instead of the usual colored ones that indicate charge levels. Everyone knows and loves the colored LEDs on Samsung&#8217;s Galaxy Buds series. The new design of Galaxy Buds 3 actually shows that Samsung is moving away from its traditional colored LEDs found in Galaxy Buds models.</p>

<p>According to <a href="https://www.91mobiles.com/hub/samsung-galaxy-buds-3-stem-design-exclusive/">91mobiles</a>, the Galaxy Buds 3 offers a 6-hour battery life on a single charge. While not all specs are available yet, the Buds 3 may be unveiled at the upcoming Galaxy Unpacked event on July 10. These are the initial leaks on the hands-on image of Galaxy Buds 3, regular Galaxy Buds series always featured a premium design in the past so we hope this one not to be real actually. The packaging on the image shared by 91mobiles team actually looks like not something Samsung would prefer to release. These images might be fake, so take those with a pinch of salt at the moment.</p>

<p>As one of the giants of the technology world, Samsung launches many innovative products every year. This time, however, there was a surprise leak in the Samsung Members app before the scheduled launch. This leak revealed some of Samsung&#8217;s new products: Galaxy Watch 7, Galaxy Watch FE, Galaxy Buds 3 Pro, Galaxy Buds 3, and Galaxy Ring.</p>

<h2>Samsung will introduce new products soon</h2>

<p>With the July 10 Galaxy event just a month away, new devices have unexpectedly leaked into the Samsung Members app. The leak appeared on a support page in the app, where users were asked to select devices to solve problems they were having. The list included several new devices that have not yet been released. These devices include the Galaxy Watch 7, Galaxy Watch FE, Galaxy Buds 3 Pro, Galaxy Buds 3 and Galaxy Ring.</p>

<p>The Galaxy Watch 7 will be the latest addition to the Galaxy Watch series, offering enhanced health tracking, longer battery life, and improved performance. Samsung takes steps to improve the user experience with each new model, and the Galaxy Watch 7 is expected to continue this tradition. Galaxy Watch FE is known as a model that offers high performance features at a more affordable price. Galaxy Watch FE is expected to appeal to a wide range of users by combining premium features with a more accessible price point.</p>

<figure class="wp-block-gallery has-nested-images columns-default is-cropped">
<figure class="wp-block-image size-full"><img loading="lazy" width="900" height="600" data-id="629908" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/06/Samsung-Galaxy-Watch-Fe-vs-Galaxy-Watch-4.jpg?x44794" alt="Samsung Galaxy Watch Fe vs Galaxy Watch 4" class="wp-image-629908" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/06/Samsung-Galaxy-Watch-Fe-vs-Galaxy-Watch-4.jpg 900w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/06/Samsung-Galaxy-Watch-Fe-vs-Galaxy-Watch-4-300x200.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/06/Samsung-Galaxy-Watch-Fe-vs-Galaxy-Watch-4-768x512.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/06/Samsung-Galaxy-Watch-Fe-vs-Galaxy-Watch-4-696x464.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/06/Samsung-Galaxy-Watch-Fe-vs-Galaxy-Watch-4-630x420.jpg 630w" sizes="(max-width: 900px) 100vw, 900px" /></figure>
</figure>

<p>Galaxy Buds 3 Pro are expected to offer premium features such as Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) and superior sound quality. Pro models are generally designed for users looking for more advanced features and higher sound quality. While the standard Galaxy Buds 3 may stand out as a more affordable option. However, it does not compromise on key features such as quality sound experience and long battery life.</p>

<p>Smart rings are becoming increasingly popular in the tech world, offering features such as health and fitness tracking in a compact form. The new Galaxy Ring has the potential to be a stylish accessory that offers users health and activity tracking. The Galaxy Ring is expected to excel in features such as sleep tracking and heart rate monitoring. Samsung had admitted right after CES that it was working on this product and it is scheduled to be released around August. Therefore, it is suggested that the Galaxy Ring may be the only product on this list that has not yet been released.</p>

<p>Samsung&#8217;s Galaxy event on July 10th the event for the official unveiling of these devices. At this event, we will have a chance to learn more about the leaked devices&#8217; specifications and release dates.</p>

<p>We are excited about Samsung&#8217;s new devices such as the Galaxy Watch 7, Galaxy Watch FE, Galaxy Buds 3 Pro, Galaxy Buds 3 and Galaxy Ring. These products are expected to offer innovative features that will further enrich user&#8217;s lives.</p>

<p>The devices, with model numbers SM-R630 for the Galaxy Buds 3 Pro and SM-R530 for the Galaxy Buds 3, have appeared on the BIS certification list. Although the listing provides no specific details about the features or specifications, it indicates an imminent Indian launch.</p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-full"><img loading="lazy" width="900" height="600" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/06/Samsung-Galaxy-Buds-3-Pro-Render.jpg?x44794" alt="Samsung-Galaxy-Buds-3-Pro-Render" class="wp-image-630802" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/06/Samsung-Galaxy-Buds-3-Pro-Render.jpg 900w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/06/Samsung-Galaxy-Buds-3-Pro-Render-300x200.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/06/Samsung-Galaxy-Buds-3-Pro-Render-768x512.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/06/Samsung-Galaxy-Buds-3-Pro-Render-696x464.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/06/Samsung-Galaxy-Buds-3-Pro-Render-630x420.jpg 630w" sizes="(max-width: 900px) 100vw, 900px" /></figure></div>

<p>Samsung is reportedly abandoning the previous bean-shaped design in favor of a stem design, aligning the new Buds more closely with competitors like Apple&#8217;s AirPods and OnePlus Buds. The Galaxy Buds 3 Pro will feature a dual-driver design and support for Bluetooth 5.4, improving audio performance. It will also come with an IP57 rating for resistance to water and dust, and it is expected to offer up to 30 hours of battery life.</p>

<p>Details about the Galaxy Buds 3 series will likely emerge as the product appears on more certification websites. Let&#8217;s take a look at the specs and features of the Galaxy Buds 2 Pro to get an idea of what we can expect from its successor.</p>

<h2>Samsung Galaxy Buds 2 Pro specs:</h2>

<p>The Galaxy Buds 2 Pro features silicone ear tips for a secure fit and effective noise isolation. These earbuds are equipped with Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) that reduces ambient noise by up to 33dB and a transparency mode. They support Bluetooth 5.3 and are IPX7-rated for water resistance.</p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-full"><img loading="lazy" width="1000" height="707" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/06/002_kv_galaxy_buds2pro_main_2p.webp?x44794" alt="" class="wp-image-631108" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/06/002_kv_galaxy_buds2pro_main_2p.webp 1000w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/06/002_kv_galaxy_buds2pro_main_2p-300x212.webp 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/06/002_kv_galaxy_buds2pro_main_2p-768x543.webp 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/06/002_kv_galaxy_buds2pro_main_2p-696x492.webp 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/06/002_kv_galaxy_buds2pro_main_2p-594x420.webp 594w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/06/002_kv_galaxy_buds2pro_main_2p-100x70.webp 100w" sizes="(max-width: 1000px) 100vw, 1000px" /></figure></div>

<p>Featuring 10mm drivers and 24-bit Hi-Fi sound, the Buds 2 Pro offers clear and rich audio. They also support 360-degree audio and Dolby Head Tracking for a more immersive listening experience. Three microphones (two external, one internal) help ensure clear calls and reduce background noise.</p>

<p>The Voice Detect feature switches the earbuds from ANC to Ambient Mode when you start talking to someone. Samsung claims the earbuds can last up to 8 hours on a single charge without ANC, and up to 29 hours total with the charging case. They support USB-C and wireless charging, providing about 55 minutes of listening time with a five-minute charge.</p>

<p><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/category/samsung/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Samsung</a> is rumored to offer a major redesign to the Galaxy Buds&#8217; &#8220;kidney bean&#8221; shape with the upcoming Galaxy Buds 3 series. According to reports from a Korean publication, a stem will be added to the design, that will make it longer and look something like the bean is sprouting.</p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-large"><img loading="lazy" width="1024" height="683" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/10/001-galaxy-buds-fe-graphite-front-1024x683.jpg?x44794" alt="Samsung Galaxy Buds FE" class="wp-image-572002" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/10/001-galaxy-buds-fe-graphite-front-1024x683.jpg 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/10/001-galaxy-buds-fe-graphite-front-300x200.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/10/001-galaxy-buds-fe-graphite-front-768x512.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/10/001-galaxy-buds-fe-graphite-front-1536x1024.jpg 1536w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/10/001-galaxy-buds-fe-graphite-front-2048x1365.jpg 2048w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/10/001-galaxy-buds-fe-graphite-front-696x464.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/10/001-galaxy-buds-fe-graphite-front-1068x712.jpg 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/10/001-galaxy-buds-fe-graphite-front-1920x1280.jpg 1920w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/10/001-galaxy-buds-fe-graphite-front-630x420.jpg 630w" sizes="(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /></figure></div>

<p>While the description above is still kind of vague and there isn&#8217;t any image of a prototype available, the addition of a stem suggests a similarity in design to <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/category/apple/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Apple</a>&#8216;s AirPods.</p>

<h2>Possible advantages of the longer design:</h2>

<p>Samsung has been offering the same design since the beginning and call quality with it is considered to be inferior due to the mic not pointing directly towards the source of sound. Adding a stem like the AirPods could make it easier for Samsung to improve the aspect.</p>

<p>Additionally, the speculated design could also offer more room for internal components. The extra space can either be used to pack a larger battery for a higher single-session battery life or to add additional equipments that are necessary for AI-related features.</p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-full"><img loading="lazy" width="858" height="540" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/05/Galaxy-Buds-interpretation-feature.png?x44794" alt="" class="wp-image-627240" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/05/Galaxy-Buds-interpretation-feature.png 858w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/05/Galaxy-Buds-interpretation-feature-300x189.png 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/05/Galaxy-Buds-interpretation-feature-768x483.png 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/05/Galaxy-Buds-interpretation-feature-696x438.png 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/05/Galaxy-Buds-interpretation-feature-667x420.png 667w" sizes="(max-width: 858px) 100vw, 858px" /></figure></div>

<p>The company added its interpretation feature to the Galaxy Buds earlier this year with an update. Samsung could be planning to add more AI-related features to its earphones that may require additional hardware resources.</p>

<p>For those unaware, the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/galaxy-buds-2/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Galaxy Buds 2</a> already houses several sensors including gyro that enable head movement tracking and notify users when they keep their head down for more than 10 minutes. It can help prevent neck and back pain. However, there aren&#8217;t any health tracking features as of now, where the company is actually focusing on the aspect and working on a dedicated device, the Galaxy Ring, just for the purpose. It won&#8217;t be shocking if Samsung adds some similar functionality to its upcoming audio product, which will surely benefit from an increased internal volume.</p>

<p>However, the Galaxy Buds 2 and <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2024/05/15/samsung-galaxy-buds-2-pro-on-sale-for-119/#:~:text=The%20Buds%202%20Pro%20packs,for%20better%20Active%20Noise%20Cancellation." target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Buds 2 Pro</a> earbuds already weigh 5.0g and 5.5g respectively, which is relatively heavier than many, and adding more hardware resources may make it even heavier. Nonetheless, Samsung will likely reveal whatever they&#8217;re doing with the Buds 3 series in the upcoming Galaxy Unpacked event scheduled for July 10.</p>

<h2>Samsung Galaxy devices arriving at the July Unpacked</h2>

<p>According to known tipster <a href="https://twitter.com/thegalox_/status/1761268907246018818" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">TheGalox</a>, the South Korean tech giant is planning on releasing next gen models of its existing product lines along with some brand new devices. It appears that the<a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/galaxy-z-fold-6/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener"> Galaxy Z Fold 6</a> and <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/galaxy-z-flip-6/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Galaxy Z Flip 6</a> are the highlight of this event, but these will arrive with the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/galaxy-buds-3/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Galaxy Buds 3</a> and <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/galaxy-watch-7/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Galaxy Watch 7</a> series as well. </p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-full"><img loading="lazy" width="900" height="630" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/02/Samsung-Galaxy-Z-Fold-6-1.jpg?x44794" alt="Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6" class="wp-image-607145" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/02/Samsung-Galaxy-Z-Fold-6-1.jpg 900w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/02/Samsung-Galaxy-Z-Fold-6-1-300x210.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/02/Samsung-Galaxy-Z-Fold-6-1-768x538.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/02/Samsung-Galaxy-Z-Fold-6-1-696x487.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/02/Samsung-Galaxy-Z-Fold-6-1-600x420.jpg 600w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/02/Samsung-Galaxy-Z-Fold-6-1-100x70.jpg 100w" sizes="(max-width: 900px) 100vw, 900px" /></figure></div>

<p>Another notable announcement is the Galaxy Ring. This wearable device was <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2024/02/21/samsung-galaxy-ring-launch-time-different-sizes/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">previously reported</a> to launch in July, so the latest report basically backs this rumor. Apart from this, Anthony tweeted that the July 2024 Galaxy Unpacked could have the company announce a new Samsung service as well. However, details regarding this are still at large. </p>

<p>The tipster claims that the Galaxy Tab S10 series and Galaxy XR headset may be announced during this event, but that seems unlikely. Samsung had delayed its headset launch following the Apple Vision Pro release, but rumors had pointed at a <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2023/07/10/samsung-xr-headset-launch-delayed-due-to-apple-vision-pro/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">2024 announcement</a>. In other words, the device could be unveiled in late 2024 and release sometime next year. Keep in mind that this is still just speculation, so take this report with a pinch of salt.</p>

<p>You might remember the bean-shaped earbuds<a href="http://gizmochina.com/tag/samsung"> Samsung</a> launched <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2020/08/13/samsung-unveils-the-galaxy-note-20-series-galaxy-watch-3-and-galaxy-buds-live-in-china/">back in 2019</a>. They were called Galaxy Buds Live and offered decent audio quality with a nice fit, and certainly a good-looking design. Well, the news is that Samsung may not be releasing a follow-up to the aging Buds Live. Instead, the company is rumored to be preparing to launch its latest earbuds, the Galaxy Buds 3, in the near future. Here are the details.</p>

<h2>Galaxy Buds 3</h2>

<p>Samsung launched the Galaxy Buds 2 back in August 2021 at the Galaxy Unpacked event. The earbuds offer solid noise cancellation and an immersive audio experience. They come with an in-ear design and are a little on the heavier side. Now, leakster Chunvn888 claims that the Galaxy Buds 3 are also on the way. While no exact launch date has been provided, we can expect the earbuds to debut at the Unpacked event alongside the new foldables.</p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-full"><img loading="lazy" width="727" height="454" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/04/Galaxy-Buds-Live.jpg?x44794" alt="Galaxy Buds Live" class="wp-image-530635" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/04/Galaxy-Buds-Live.jpg 727w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/04/Galaxy-Buds-Live-300x187.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/04/Galaxy-Buds-Live-696x435.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/04/Galaxy-Buds-Live-673x420.jpg 673w" sizes="(max-width: 727px) 100vw, 727px" /></figure></div>

<p>The same leakster claims that Samsung won’t be releasing the Galaxy Buds 2 Live. To recall, the original Buds Live feature ANC and Ambient Sound mode, up to 6 hours of battery life, and touch controls for playback and calls. They have Bluetooth 5.0 connectivity, IPX2 water resistance, and are compatible with Bixby, Google Assistant, and Siri. The earbuds have 12mm speakers and three microphones, and come in six colors.</p>

<p>Currently, the details about the Buds 3 are scarce. We can expect the earbuds to bring essentially the same design as their predecessor. However, they may feature improved noise cancellation and better drivers. Samsung may also include support for Spatial audio and other interesting features introduced with Galaxy Buds 2 Pro. We hope to learn more in the coming days.</p>

<p><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/samsung/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Samsung</a> is rumored to be launching the next iteration of its <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2021/01/14/samsung-galaxy-smarttag-smarttag-bluetooth-trackers-launched-price-starts-at-29/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Galaxy SmartTag</a> tracker later this year, and reports suggest that the new device will come with significant improvements across various features. The second-generation SmartTag is said to have a longer wireless range, better security features to prevent unauthorized tracking, and a longer-lasting battery than its predecessor.</p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-large"><img loading="lazy" width="1024" height="576" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/04/Galaxy-SmartTag-1024x576.jpg?x44794" alt="Galaxy SmartTag" class="wp-image-527869" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/04/Galaxy-SmartTag-1024x576.jpg 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/04/Galaxy-SmartTag-300x169.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/04/Galaxy-SmartTag-768x432.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/04/Galaxy-SmartTag-696x392.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/04/Galaxy-SmartTag-1068x601.jpg 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/04/Galaxy-SmartTag-747x420.jpg 747w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/04/Galaxy-SmartTag.jpg 1280w" sizes="(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /></figure></div>

<p>One of the key criticisms of the original SmartTag was that it only worked with other Samsung products. There is no word yet on whether this exclusivity will continue with the new SmartTag. However, it is expected that the device will come with improved SmartThings integration to make it easier for users to track their belongings.</p>

<p>According to the Korean news outlet Naver, Samsung is planning to unveil the new SmartTag at its upcoming Galaxy Unpacked event in August. The event is also expected to feature the launch of other Samsung products, including the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/Galaxy-Z-Fold-5/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Galaxy Z Fold 5</a>, <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/galaxy-z-flip-5/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Galaxy Z Flip 5</a>, <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/galaxy-watch-6/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Galaxy Watch 6</a>, and Galaxy Buds 3.</p>

<p>The Galaxy Buds 3 are another highly anticipated launch from Samsung. However, details on this updated generation of earbuds are currently scarce. It is unclear what improvements or new features Samsung has in store for the Galaxy Buds 3.</p>

<p>Meanwhile, <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/google/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Google</a> is also reportedly <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2023/01/17/google-developing-its-own-airtag-tracker/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">planning to launch</a> its own smart tracker, codenamed &#8220;grogu,&#8221; at its annual developer conference, Google I/O, in May. The move is expected to intensify competition in the smart tracker market.</p>
