The company was subject to a US trade ban in May 2019, which prevented it from working with some of its long-term partners including Google. This means <a href="http://gizmochina.com/tag/huawei/">Huawei</a> phones cannot access Google services such as the Play Store. So, the company had to create its own alternative to the Google Play Store called “AppGallery”. However, it is reported that AppGallery is facing a certain glitch that allows users to download paid apps for free.</p>
<p><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter wp-image-461237" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/05/image-4.jpg?x44794" alt="huawei appgallery" width="683" height="683" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/05/image-4.jpg 600w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/05/image-4-150x150.jpg 150w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/05/image-4-300x300.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/05/image-4-420x420.jpg 420w" sizes="(max-width: 683px) 100vw, 683px" /></p>
<p>This vulnerability/glitch has been discovered by <a href="https://evowizz.dev/blog/huawei-appgallery-vulnerability">Dylan Roussel</a>. He found that the API of Huawei’s AppGallery offers no protection for paid applications. It is reportedly possible to obtain a genuine APK download link for premium apps without even having to pay for it.</p>
<p>To make sure that it wasn’t the issue with just one particular app, Russel tried downloading multiple apps and he was successful each time. However, one game he downloaded had a license verification, which he failed to pass.</p>
<p>Russel even emailed Huawei informing them about the issue and offered them 5 weeks to fix it. Now it has been 13 Weeks and the vulnerability still persists. So, he decided to disclose it publicly.</p>
<p>Huawei’s ignorance can have a grave impact on the earnings of developers who have published their apps in Huawei’s AppGallery. Not only that, but this issue also invites app piracy. Attackers could exploit the API to download a huge number of premium apps without even visiting the AppGallery.</p>
<p>If you’re an app developer with a paid app published in Huawei’s AppGallery, it is advisable for you to implement additional means of protection to your application through DRM, like the AppGallery DRM Service.</p>

Now, it is about to become even easier for users to access following its integration with Huawei’s map service, Petal Maps.</p>
<p><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-large wp-image-432182" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/12/Bolt-1024x1024.jpg?x44794" alt="Huawei" width="696" height="696" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/12/Bolt-1024x1024.jpg 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/12/Bolt-150x150.jpg 150w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/12/Bolt-300x300.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/12/Bolt-768x768.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/12/Bolt-696x696.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/12/Bolt-1068x1068.jpg 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/12/Bolt-420x420.jpg 420w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/12/Bolt.jpg 1080w" sizes="(max-width: 696px) 100vw, 696px" /></p>
<p>Huawei customers with smartphones based on Huawei Mobile Services (HMS), and customers who download Petal Maps from Google Play, have now an additional option when they search the directions and length of a journey from one location to another. As well as car, public transport, walking and cycling, they will also see ride hailing.</p>
<p>Once a user clicks on the Boult icon, they will automatically be taken to the Bolt app where they can book a driver, check the driver’s details and distance, and see how much the journey will cost.</p>
<p>The two companies have also collaborated at a software developmental level with Bolt integrating Huawei’s Map Kit allowing it to power the app with personalized displays and interactions for HMS devices.</p>
<p>But that&#8217;s not all, Petal Maps has recently been enhanced with new updates, including Lane Guidance which is aimed at helping drivers to enjoy enhanced route planning, and help in complex traffic situations, and Offline Maps, which allows users to take advantage of search and navigation functions, even when they have no signal.</p>
<p>In addition, searching for amenities is easier thanks to its new and improved ‘one-touch’ search functions which show multiple services such as petrol stations, restaurants, ATMs, and convenience stores that are nearby.</p>
<p>So for readers who live in Europe and Africa, do check out these new features offered by the Petal Maps on Huawei&#8217;s AppGallary or Google Play store.</p>

With a ton of new games and apps directly coming on the AppGallery, it is no longer a sidelined app downloading platform for Huawei smartphone users. That said, CrazyLabs, one of the top 3 game publishers, has now reached the Huawei AppGallery and launched four new smartphone games on the platform. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">CrazyLabs has announced four super-simple games on the AppGallery. These games include Tie-Dye, Acrylic Nails, Phone Case DIY, and Light it Up. </span></p>
<p><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter wp-image-398811 size-full" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/07/CrazyLabs_together.jpg?x44794" alt="" width="2920" height="1057" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/07/CrazyLabs_together.jpg 2920w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/07/CrazyLabs_together-300x109.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/07/CrazyLabs_together-768x278.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/07/CrazyLabs_together-1024x371.jpg 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/07/CrazyLabs_together-696x252.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/07/CrazyLabs_together-1068x387.jpg 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/07/CrazyLabs_together-1160x420.jpg 1160w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/07/CrazyLabs_together-1920x695.jpg 1920w" sizes="(max-width: 2920px) 100vw, 2920px" /></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">All these games were launched on the Playstore and App store earlier and now with the launch on one of the fastest-growing app stores, AppGallery, its reach has increased. Starting with the Tie-Dye game, it allows you to get a real-life painting experience on a T-shirt. There are multiple levels and colors to choose from giving players an option to DIY the T-shirt as per their likings. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">As the name suggests, Acrylic Nails, this game is great for getting your nails done on the go (virtually). It is said to be the most satisfying ASMR app for nail salons in the market. Moving to the Phone Case DIY, it is as simple as it sounds. Players can customize the back of their phones with the help of various tools in the game. </span></p>
<p><img loading="lazy" class="alignnone size-medium wp-image-398810" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/07/Light-Up-240x300.jpg?x44794" alt="" width="240" height="300" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/07/Light-Up-240x300.jpg 240w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/07/Light-Up-768x960.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/07/Light-Up-819x1024.jpg 819w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/07/Light-Up-696x870.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/07/Light-Up-1068x1335.jpg 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/07/Light-Up-336x420.jpg 336w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/07/Light-Up.jpg 1080w" sizes="(max-width: 240px) 100vw, 240px" /> <img loading="lazy" class="size-medium wp-image-398809 alignright" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/07/Phone-Case-DIY-240x300.jpg?x44794" alt="" width="240" height="300" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/07/Phone-Case-DIY-240x300.jpg 240w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/07/Phone-Case-DIY-768x960.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/07/Phone-Case-DIY-819x1024.jpg 819w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/07/Phone-Case-DIY-696x870.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/07/Phone-Case-DIY-1068x1335.jpg 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/07/Phone-Case-DIY-336x420.jpg 336w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/07/Phone-Case-DIY.jpg 1080w" sizes="(max-width: 240px) 100vw, 240px" /></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">If you are looking for a game to play in between your daily commute to work, Light it Up is a great choice. It is another entertaining game from CrazyLabs that allows multiple actions like swinging, jumping, and flipping to make neon shapes glow in the game. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Other than this, CrazyLabs had earlier launched a bunch of new games like Coin Rush, ASMR Slicing and Soap cutting, Run Sausage Run, and others on the Playstore and App store. </span></p>

The company recently unveiled the HarmonyOS 2, expanding the OS to its entire smartphone lineup. The HarmonyOS AppGallery was revealed to have <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2021/06/11/huawei-harmonyos-apps-134000-hms-core-6-0-unveiled/">already got up to 134,000 apps</a> with over 4 million developers. The Chinese tech giant has continued to expand the ecosystem and has now announced the addition of two new exciting games, Manor Matters and Left to Survive.<a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/06/huawei-app-gallery.png?x44794"><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-395387" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/06/huawei-app-gallery.png?x44794" alt="" width="970" height="505" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/06/huawei-app-gallery.png 970w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/06/huawei-app-gallery-300x156.png 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/06/huawei-app-gallery-768x400.png 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/06/huawei-app-gallery-696x362.png 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/06/huawei-app-gallery-807x420.png 807w" sizes="(max-width: 970px) 100vw, 970px" /></a></p>
<p>The addition of the two games is not just delightful to fans because it offers them some more gaming options, but most importantly because it means Huawei has successfully gotten new app developers throwing up the possibility of further expanding the ecosystem.</p>
<p>The two games are developed by gaming developer Playrix and top gaming publisher MY.GAMES respectively. This isn&#8217;t Playrix&#8217;s first game on the AppGallery. The app developer had earlier published two popular games Gardenscapes and Homescapes. <a href="https://appgallery.huawei.com/#/app/C103930897" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Manor Matters</a> and <a href="https://appgallery.huawei.com/#/app/C104278573" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Left to Survive</a> are presently available to download on AppGallery.</p>
<p>Huawei&#8217;s AppGallery remains a smart and innovative ecosystem that allows developers to create unique experiences for consumers. <p>With 134,000 apps already, Huawei&#8217;s AppGallery is among the top three app marketplaces globally. Once the Google PlayStore and Apple App Store have more apps. Huawei still has a long way to go, though, before it can play catch up with the two market leaders.</p>
<p>The AppGallery is available to users in more than 170 countries and regions and according to Huawei, the store has over 540 million monthly active users globally.</p>

While the service has continued to grow over the years, one major challenge is the rich large Android ecosystem that <a href="http://gizmochina.com/tag/google">Google</a> has built over the years. Although Huawei has made tremendous progress in its efforts to expand the HMS ecosystem, it is still miles away from Android. <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/04/huawei-mate.jpg?x44794"><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-383969" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/04/huawei-mate.jpg?x44794" alt="Huawei" width="1204" height="802" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/04/huawei-mate.jpg 1204w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/04/huawei-mate-300x200.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/04/huawei-mate-768x512.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/04/huawei-mate-1024x682.jpg 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/04/huawei-mate-696x464.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/04/huawei-mate-1068x711.jpg 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/04/huawei-mate-631x420.jpg 631w" sizes="(max-width: 1204px) 100vw, 1204px" /></a></p>
<p>However, hope seems to be in sight for Huawei as a developer partner has created an open-source solution that adapters Google apps for the AppGallery. The solution is developed by developer partner bluesource, Europe’s leading provider of enterprise app solutions. It is an open-source method that adapts GMS apps for AppGallery removing the need to redevelop apps specifically for Huawei’s app store.</p>
<p style="font-weight: 400;">The solution is christened Choice SDK and Huawei claims it makes it easy for app publishers to transform their existing apps based on GMS and Firebase frameworks into HMS usable applications. Thus, developers won&#8217;t need to create an HMS version of their apps, thus saving cost and time in app development as just little effort is needed for the apps to run on Huawei devices.</p>
<p>The open-source Choice SDK was originally developed for Raiffeisen Bank to help the bank make their app available to Huawei phone users in Austria. Bluesource has since made it available as open-source software so that other brands and developers can get their apps adapted faster, safer and in a more convenient way. Since it became open-source, the Choice SDK has reportedly been utilized by Austria’s national TV broadcaster <a href="https://orf.at/" data-saferedirecturl="https://www.google.com/url?q=https://orf.at/&amp;source=gmail&amp;ust=1618418860487000&amp;usg=AFQjCNGc4udA-Wpa9fKSOGUkTpV8-zWezQ">ORF</a>, Austrian Federal Railways <a href="https://www.oebb.at/" data-saferedirecturl="https://www.google.com/url?q=https://www.oebb.at/&amp;source=gmail&amp;ust=1618418860487000&amp;usg=AFQjCNHvb1BdiBvI-ArVuvOyVF4LLegRxg">ÖBB</a>, Austria’s <a href="https://www.post.at/" data-saferedirecturl="https://www.google.com/url?q=https://www.post.at/&amp;source=gmail&amp;ust=1618418860487000&amp;usg=AFQjCNHXS6IuIYSBqRiRmktz10TLoisknA">Postal Service</a> and deals app <a href="https://www.aktionsfinder.at/" data-saferedirecturl="https://www.google.com/url?q=https://www.aktionsfinder.at/&amp;source=gmail&amp;ust=1618418860487000&amp;usg=AFQjCNFjXETVCxZkDnT5tnUteukAeKOMmQ">Aktionsfinder</a>.</p>
<p style="font-weight: 400;">Since it was rolled out in 2019, Huawei&#8217;s AppGallery has experienced a massive growth which has catapulted it to become the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2020/02/25/huawei-app-store-is-now-the-3rd-largest-app-store-after-google-and-apple/">world’s third largest app marketplace</a> with 530 million monthly active users (MAUs). The company recorded a massive 61.5% growth YoY in Europe to record more than 42 million users. Huawei has offered various incentives ranging from <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2019/09/19/with-no-google-play-services-huawei-offers-developers-1-billion-to-build-for-its-own-app-store/">cash</a> to a <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2020/03/05/huawei-offers-90-of-revenue-from-appgalery-to-developers/">lion share of revenue</a> from the apps and it worked. Huawei presently <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2021/04/01/huawei-mobile-service-now-the-third-largest-globally-over-2-3-million-developers/">has over 2.3 million registered HMS developers</a> with about 300,000 outside China. The platform has increased the number of registered developers to 2.3 million, up by 77% vs last year, and now also counts 300,000 developers outside China. Presently, there are about 120,000 apps integrated with HMS Core, an increase of 118% compared to last year.</p>

<p><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-318881" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/04/Huawei-AppGallery-Featured.png?x44794" alt="Huawei AppGallery" width="781" height="448" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/04/Huawei-AppGallery-Featured.png 781w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/04/Huawei-AppGallery-Featured-300x172.png 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/04/Huawei-AppGallery-Featured-768x441.png 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/04/Huawei-AppGallery-Featured-696x399.png 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/04/Huawei-AppGallery-Featured-732x420.png 732w" sizes="(max-width: 781px) 100vw, 781px" /></p>
<p>As reported by <a href="https://cntechpost.com/2020/11/27/huawei-launches-special-funding-program-for-appgallery-games/">cnTechPost</a>, <a href="http://www.gizmochina.com/tag/Huawei">Huawei</a>&#8216;s new program is for Indie Game developers. For the unware, games from the indie community are independent and either from an Individual/Small group. Mostly, these teams don&#8217;t have a lot of technical/financial support when compared to the big names in the industry.</p>
<p>Hence, Huawei&#8217;s commitment to this funding program will help the developers gain the limelight and in turn popularize the <a href="http://www.gizmochina.com/tag/appgallery">AppGallery</a> more. Accordingly, a special incentive will be provided for Games published on AppGallery between <strong>November 19 and December 14</strong> through the Unity Distribution Portal(UDP). In case you don&#8217;t know, UDP helps developers by distributing games to multiple app stores(incl. AppGallery) through a single hub.</p>
<p>That said, the new funding program for indie games comes with many benefits. The highest of them is a whopping €30,000 prize pool for the 30 chosen games. You can take a look at the benefits of the special <a href="https://create.unity3d.com/AppGallery-UDP-happy-holidays">program</a> below:</p>
<ul>
<li>85% IAP(In-App-Purchases) revenue share for game developers for the first 2 years. Usually, it is 70% for AppGallery Developers</li>
<li>VIP technical support and store spotlight.</li>
<li>Top indie games will also be featured on a special &#8216;Indie Game&#8217; slot on the AppGallery store.</li>
<li>30 indie games chosen will receive Huawei Ad Platform credit worth €1,000. And an account manager to set up the acquisition campaign.</li>
</ul>
<h6 class="related" style="text-align: center"><strong><span style="color: #ff0000">EDITOR&#8217;S PICK</span>: <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2020/05/06/huawei-wearables-stop-working-company-asks-users-to-download-appgallery/">Huawei wearables stop working, company asks users to download AppGallery</a></strong></h6>
<p>Besides, the advantage of using the UDP is it just requires a single build &amp; metadata profile as you don&#8217;t have to create multiple builds of your games w.r.t each App store. Some advantages of using alternative App stores and UDP is it reaches more than 1 billion players, revenue up to $5 billion outside of China.</p>
<p>That said, this is just one of the initiatives to expand the AppGallery ecosystem of Huawei. Introduced way back in <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2018/04/04/huaweis-own-app-store-appgallery-is-now-available-globally/">2018 globally</a>, the app store has gained steam after the US ban. As a result, it is currently the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2020/02/25/huawei-app-store-is-now-the-3rd-largest-app-store-after-google-and-apple/">third-largest</a> store after Apple and Google counterparts. As per the UDP portal, AppGallery expands to 170+ countries, has 700 million users, and 400 million MAU(monthly active users).</p>
<p>Living to its earlier promise, the company has already brought biggies like Telegram, <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2020/04/22/huawei-inks-deal-with-hungama-to-brings-its-apps-on-appgallery/">Hungama</a>, <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2020/07/03/huawei-bolt-appgallery-uber-rival/">Bolt</a>, <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2020/04/23/here-maps-lands-on-huawei-appgallery-as-an-alternative-to-google-maps/">HERE Maps</a> to the store. For regions like India, it pre-installs <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2020/05/05/mapmyindias-move-app-will-come-pre-installed-on-huawei-honor-smartphones-in-india/">MapmyIndia</a> to distract Google Maps addiction. That said, the Recently added list of Apps also includes Moovit, Booking.com, eSky, Omio, Skyscanner/Turkish Airlines.</p>
<h6 class="related" style="text-align: center"><strong>UP NEXT: <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2020/11/28/huawei-founder-accuses-some-u-s-politicians-of-trying-to-kill-the-company/">Huawei Founder accuses some U.S. politicians of trying to kill the company</a></strong></h6>

<p>For those unaware, Huawei had faced a ban from the US Government&#8217;s Commerce Department back in 2019. The ban had led to many complications in the company&#8217;s operations in the region but also banned it from using various technologies and more from its partner companies that were based in the country. One of these was <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2019/05/20/huawei-banned-from-using-google-services-future-phones-to-feature-proprietary-os/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Google, which had to stop providing Android support to Huawei</a>. Since then, the company has launched the Huawei Mate 30 series with vanilla Android and its own <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/hms/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">HMS</a> (Huawei Mobile Services).</p>
<h6 class="related"><strong>Editor&#8217;s Pick: <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2020/02/25/samsung-kicks-off-mass-production-of-16gb-lpddr5-ram-expect-premium-flagships-to-feature-it-soon/">Samsung kicks off mass production of 16GB LPDDR5 RAM, Expect Premium Flagships to feature it soon</a></strong></h6>
<p>Huawei had to attract various developers for its new HMS platform and through its extension, for the App Store dubbed AppGallery. Now, it has been announced that the company is seeing monthly users over 400 million, with more than 55,000 groups of apps being found in the platform. In other words, a notable feat for a newly launched service is already rivaling industry giants, like Google Play Store and Apple App Store.</p>

<p>As of right now, the Huawei Mobile Services are currently available in 170 different countries and regions and is collaborating with local developers from Asia Pacific, Middle East, Africa, Europe, and Latin America. The company has also announced that it will be launching a &#8220;Quick App&#8221; service in the AppGallery which will allow users to try out apps without the need of downloading and installing it first. This will help with storage constraints on smartphones with lesser storage capacities.</p>

<p>Soon, the users of <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/huawei/">Huawei</a> smartphones will be able to download the AppGallery app store on their devices, no matter which part of the world they reside in. The app store already comes pre-installed with the recently launched <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/huawei-p20-smartphone-full-specification-and-features/">P20</a> and <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/huawei-p20-pro/">P20 Pro</a> smartphones.</p>
<p><img loading="lazy" class="size-full wp-image-183110 aligncenter" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/04/huawei-app-gallery.jpg?x44794" alt="Huawei AppGallery" width="640" height="640" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/04/huawei-app-gallery.jpg 640w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/04/huawei-app-gallery-150x150.jpg 150w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/04/huawei-app-gallery-300x300.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/04/huawei-app-gallery-270x270.jpg 270w" sizes="(max-width: 640px) 100vw, 640px" /></p>
<p>Huawei&#8217;s AppGallery comes with five tables, including Featured, Category, Top, Manager, and Me. In the &#8216;Me&#8217; section, users can control settings and various preferences.</p>
<p>A lot of applications in various categories are aimed at the Asian market, which also makes sense given that the company has a strong presence in the Asian market. Along with apps like <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/facebook/">Facebook</a>, Instagram, and YouTube, the user will also get access to several Asia-focused apps such as Amap for navigation, WeChat for instant messaging and QQMusic for entertainment.</p>
<p>In order to install this AppGallery app store, users will have to enable third-party app downloads and then visit wap2.hispace.hicloud.com, where the app will automatically start downloading. The service can be disabled through Settings menu in the Me tab or could be completely uninstalled.</p>
<p>The company says that its digital marketplace is designed to offer the best of <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/android/">Android</a> to consumers by providing an ecosystem full of high-quality apps. Prior to this global launch of its app store, Huawei teamed up with Sygic and a few other mobile developers in October last year to ensure that it has a presentable portfolio of apps.</p>

<p>After <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2018/03/27/huawei-p20-and-huawei-p20-pro-official-cameras-takes-center-stage/">launching</a> its flagship smartphones &#8212; Huawei P20 and P20 Pro, the China-based company is now gearing up to launch a new smartphone in May this year, which will be focused on the photography and the artificial intelligence technology.</p>
